Erin, Gretchen and the crew at Applewood Dental are wonderful to work with. Erin is thorough, kind and she educates you on teeth hygiene and what happens to teeth when we don't care for them in a healthy way. The office is clean, organized, simple and not pretentious. Erin is trustworthy and honest and she doesn't push you to do unnecessary treatments. I end up doing what she recommends anyway because I trust her. If you are looking for a simple, no nonsense, take care of your teeth dental experience, Applewood Dental is that.

Absolutely awesome! From the receptionists to the assistant and the dentist were all as good as you'd want! I'm very dentist paranoid so for me- everything was explained well- no unwarranted pain! Had to have a cleaning and a crown re-attached so all went awesome!

This is the by far the best dentist office I have visited in the state of Colorado. Great technical work and even more importantly, the kindest staff. I am so happy to have them as my local dentist.

Applewood Dental was referred to me by my lifelong dentist that retired. The one thing I insist upon is a non corporate dental office. These guys are the greatest. I recommend them to everyone I know.

I had an emergency last Monday6/21/21 after returning from a road trip. Intense pain in lower front teeth made it impossible to eat or brush my teeth. I tried to make an appointment with my regular dentist, but they weren't sure they could get me in immediately, and said they would call me back with availability. I called Applewood Dental because of proximity, and they were able to see me in about 2 hours. During the 2 hour wait, my regular dentist called with availability for that day, but I had already made the appointment and didn't think it fair to cancel 45 minutes before the appointment. That was a mistake; I had no allegiance to this office and they later proved they had absolutely none to me. In any case, I arrived, took some compulsory x-rays, was given a script for antibiotics and 6 pain pills, paid $140, and was on my way. I wasn't given any directives as to the next steps, but during the 2 minutes I spent with the dentist, I was told I might need a root-canal and it couldn't be done at their office. I left with hopefulness that I would be out of pain and sort out the detail of the root canal later. The reason for the visit was acute level 10 pain, and I was hopeful it would subside in the coming days, but there was very little relief. The prescription for pain was to take 1-2 pills every 4-6 hours, and they worked enough for me to finally eat again and get through the day. When they were gone Wednesday morning, I began taking ibuprofen and Tylenol without results. There were no improvements by Thursday, so I called the office and requested a refill, and was very surprised at the nonchalant tone of the receptionist who told me that the doctors leave at 2 PM (it was 1:30) , and they do not come in on Fridays. I was directed to go the Emergency Room. It genuinely shocked me how happy she was to deliver this news. During the call with the receptionist, I received another call, and when I tried to answer it, I accidentally disconnected both calls. I called back and no answer, and this happened 3 times. I left a message and asked where I could get the root-canal operation and have never heard back from them. I called with emergency pain, they took my money, and then nothing. I am starting the process that began 7 days all over again, but with a trusted dentist. I wouldn't trust this dentist with a simple cleaning. I've never experienced such an unprofessional attitude in regards to the receptionist, and I highly doubt my information has been passed on to the dentist. Never again.

Attempted to call and message numerous times over two weeks to become a new patient. I was completely ignored. Nobody ever got back to me. This type of "customer service" is horrible.

Applewood Dental best serves adults, but not children. If you're in need of a dentist that serves children, please look elsewhere. We were going on our second year as patients to the all-women team in our community and quite frankly, we were enjoying it until last week when my oldest daughter needed to have a sealant put on her molars. Dr. Manzo hastily came into the small room without introducing herself or offering any kind of salutation. That should've been my first red flag that the session wasn't going to go well. She asked if there were any dental concerns and my 9-year-old daughter explained she had extremely sensitive teeth, and a sequin stuck under her gum (yes, it is very odd). Dr. Manzo became exasperated and asked the dental assistant to check the notes of this lodged item while she inspected my daughter's gum. The assistant confirmed there was a note about the stuck sequin and Dr. Manzo said, "I have a very hard time believing that's in there!" which such a harsh tone. She also confessed to not having time to look through the notes. Her not going through her notes should've been my next red flag. She began applying the sealant to the first and second molar when my daughter started crying and complaining about her sensitive teeth. My daughter naturally reached to her mouth because it was hurting when the dentist repeatedly pushed my 9 year olds hands down. She scolded her, "Put your hands down. We can do this the easy way or I can numb you." To see my daughter quivering in fear and pain was horrifying. Dr. Manzo was exasperated and said she had never seen anyone as dramatic as her. Instead of offering kindness, empathy, or concern, she became harsh and punitive which made it more difficult to soothe and calm down my daughter. Dr.Manzo's behavior was rude and unprofessional. She made the following statements: "You are overly dramatic," and "You are hurting my heart, my assistant's heart, and your mom's heart with your crying" and she then followed it up by threatening to stick her with a needle to numb her. I had to interject and tell my daughter that it was ok to feel nervous or worried, but my daughter is not responsible for hurting anyone's heart because the procedure was painful. I also had to ask Dr. Manzo to offer more empathy and patience to a person who was clearly having a hard time. If my daughter didn't have reservations about going to the dentist she does now. We'll be going back to our pediatric all-women team.

Not too long ago after years of good checkups, I decided that I didn't need annual checkups so I went a few years without going to the dentist. Great Mistake! Thanks to Dr. Manzo at Applewood Dental I am back in good graces and my teeth & gums couldn't be any better. It took some time and I lost some teeth, but I will continue to get my annual checks to ensure the teeth are doing good.

If you need anything besides cleaning and very basic dental procedures, they cannot do it, they send you to a specialist.. Almost everything I had done by them had to be re-done. Had two crowns, one crown had a gap,the 2nd a hole, they didn't catch those even after multiple X-rays.
