We will be more than happy to submit all insurance forms for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card. We offer third party financing through GreenState Credit Union and Care Credit.
Tracy was born and raised on a farm outside Fort Dodge, Iowa and has lived in Iowa her entire life. She graduated from Iowa Central Community College with a degree in dental assisting in 1989. She has been the Office Coordinator of AppleWhite Dental for over 18 years. Tracy and her husband have been married for over 20 years. They have 2 daughters aged 10 and 15. Tracy enjoys gardening in the summer and watching her daughters on the basketball court in the winter. Finally, Tracy enjoys NASCAR, especially Ryan Newman. Go Cyclones!!
Emily graduated from ICCC. She has a specialty in Periodontal Therapies. Emily has over 3 years of experience in general dentistry and has been in a periodontal office for 5 years prior. Emily has always had great dental experiences and was encourged by her hometown dentist to go into the field. Emily's patient philosophy is to educate her patients to the best of her ability and to help them achieve long term success with their oral health. In her free time, she enjoys biking, working out, going to her childrens sporting activites, and spending time with her family.
Krystal was born in Callender, Iowa and graduated from Prairie Valley High School in 2000. She has several years experience in the medical profession; attending ICCC Nursing Program and emerging as an LPN in 2002. Krystal began working with Dr. Heun, as an assistant, in 2004 and added expanded functions to her career in 2009. She enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband Mike and amazing stepsons, Michael and Triston. Krystal is such an asset to the practice; she contributes to every facet of helping things run smoothly, including having a little fun. Though she dampens the spirits of some of her colleagues by cheering on Iowa State.
Liz began her assisting career with Drs. Mergan and Shelly as an orthodontic assistant. Liz began with AppleWhite Dental in 2006. She now has over 15 years of experience as a dental assistant. Liz is licensed as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. Her favorite part of being a dental assistant is meeting so many interesting patients and the ability to make them feel comfortable with her sense of humor. Liz is originally from Callender, Iowa. She is married and the mother of 1 spoiled 11 year old. She cherishes time with her family and friends. She also enjoys her hobbies which include Scrapbooking, Motorcycling, Gardening and Camping.

Great place to go! Tracy is great at the front desk, takes care of any insurance things for me, Dr Heun, Krystal are so good at what they do. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful too!
