Dr. Pournik is a graduate of University of Texas Dental Branch dental school, one of the best in the country. She has been a dentist for over a decade and has taken several post graduate courses in different fields of dentistry since receiving her D.D.S. degree. One of her most recent achievements was to receive the prestigious fellowship award by the International Congress of Implantology.
Dr. Pourniks emphasis on patient comfort, as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry, enable her to provide her patients with the best quality of care in the field. She has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry. Through hundreds of hours of continuing education courses, she has perfected her skills in many different areas of dentistry ranging from cosmetic to surgical procedures like implant dentistry. I am So happy that my friend Abigail referred me to Applewhite Dental Arts! There very Professional, and friendly. During the time I was there, they made sure to explain every process and gave me the best options. Also, didn't pressure me in nothing. They made me feel comfortable with there service. I HIGHLY Recommend Applewhite Dental Arts!! They where all supper nice and Friendly and if you are bilingual they have really nice bilingual staff!

Made an appointment SEVERAL MONTHS AGO bc I can't just take off when ever I want to go to the doctor/dentist, everything seemed fine, they called me today a few days before my appointment to tell me they dont take my insurance.....the insurance is gave them months ago, now I dont have time to find another place with an opening in that day. Very unprofessional.

My husband and I are patients of Dr. Pournik (me since 2015 and my husband since before 2015). I have had braces, retainers and routine examinations done by her. My husband has had a root canal, implant, and porcelain veneers, as well as preventative care. The service we receive from the front desk to the dental assistants to Dr. Pournik herself are exemplary. We are very happy with her and will continue to get our dental care there.

My dentist, Hedieh Pournik, cares genuinely about me as her patient. She takes the time to explain all the things that I need to keep my teeth healthy and clean. Her assistant, Lidia, is also wonderful. If you are looking for a great doctor with reasonable prices and quality, you should come here as well. I have been coming to this particular office for about three years now. The front desk and checkout clerk do a great job scheduling and following up with you.

I've been a patient here since 2017. I'm now in the process of getting adult braces. I love this place. So warm and welcoming. The staff is awesome and my Orthodontist, Hedieh Pournik, is better than yours....LOL

Dr. Pournik is the best dentist in town, hands down!!! She is extremely caring and absolutely goes above and beyond to make sure ALL her patients are comfortable and happy!! Her staff is amazing and welcoming right as you walk in the door. Many of my friends and family now go to Applewhite Dental Arts. I can guarantee this will be the best dental experience you have ever had.

I was literally in tears with this Doctor and her staff. They are amazing people. They make you feel welcome and very concerned for your situation, your not just a dollar sign like most dental practice I have visited. Dr. Pournik is so genuine and sincere the work she did on my teeth is priceless and to have someone shows such sincerity is beyond belief. We are truly lucky/blessed to have such an amazing Doctor/person in this world!! Sure wish we had more of Dr. Pournik in these practices. I had an absolute amazing experience at Applewhite Dental Arts. I called needing an appointment ASAP! I was in pain! Luckily, they had an opening within the hour and were able to accommodate me. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was professional, thorough, and friendly. Everyone greeted me with a smile. I have not had the best experiences with dentists in the past, so I had my radar up. Applewhite Dental Arts shined a new light on dental care for me! I cannot stress to you how amazing the staff was. Dr. Pournik came in to the exam room and I was instantly even more at ease. She is so down to earth! She talked to me and not at me. She made me feel like she'd known me for years. She even cracked a joke or two! I was blown away! I was the last patient to leave and never once did I feel rushed. The care she and her staff took of me was top notch! I did not feel any pain during my procedure! She was excellent! I found my new dentist office and I don't plan on going with anyone else! 5 star stellar performance from everyone I encountered! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!!
