Dr. Nguyen values genuine interactions that build trust and transparency to enhance the patient experience. She strives to communicate clearly and provide high-quality care. She is committed to caring for her patients oral health and smiles with compassion and understanding.
Dr. Nguyen has lived in Colorado since her family immigrated to the US at a young age. She graduated with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Denver and went on to complete her dental education at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Her professional associations include American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metro Denver Dental Society, and Alpha Omega International Dental Society. Dr. Nguyen is passionate about giving back and volunteers with Global Dental Relief on mission trips to Asia and the Colorado Mission of Mercy.
Chetan Patodia attended Bangalore Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospitals where he received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree. He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Following completion of his DDS, he pursued a fellowship in the CU Department of Periodontics where he worked on complex implant rehabilitation cases. This early exposure to the field of periodontics led him to pursue a Master of Science in Dentistry in Periodontics also at the University of Colorado.
Currently, he is working as a periodontist/implant specialist at multiple practices in the Denver metro. Dr. Patodia also serves as a part-time assistant clinical professor at CU Dental because he truly believes in giving back by sharing his knowledge and experience with the emerging dental community.
As a Periodontist, Dr. Patodia loves discussing evidence-based knowledge such as the importance of maintaining dental and periodontal health. He is determined to help his patients save their teeth from gum disease and/or replace teeth with dental implants, when necessary. Dr. Patodia believes nothing is more satisfying than meeting a happy patient whose oral health and smile is restored by the services he can provide. For this reason, he stays up-to-date with the general dentist community as he wants to ensure patients are treated comprehensively.
Outside of the office, Dr. Patodia enjoys traveling with his wife, Punam, and their daughter, Aria. He and his wife have covered twenty-five states since their 08 marriage. He is also a passionate skier, previously visited nineteen national parks, and has hiked sixteen 14ers in Colorado.
Nicole is a Colorado native. She graduated from CCDs dental hygiene program and also has a degree in Psychology from CU. As a hygienist she enjoys getting to know her patients and passionate about providing the best standard of care by educating them on their personal dental needs. She believes each patients needs are different and unique to maintaining good dental health. Outside the office she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and dogs. She enjoys the Colorado adventures of being outdoors in the summer, and snowboarding in the winters.
Alisha has been providing care asa dental hygienist at Appletree since 2007. Her goal with each patient is to educate,motivate and to promote optimumoral health. She is a busy mom of three and enjoys spending time outdoors camping, riding ATVs andgardening.
Hannah is a 2005 Graduate from University of Colorado Health Science Center with bachelors in dental hygiene. Shes been with Appletree since 2007 and absolutely LOVES this office. Hannah is a native of Colorado and literally grew up down the street! As a hygienist, she thoroughly enjoys getting to know my patients and strive to make everyone feel comfortable and cared for.Hermotto is: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!Sheuse American Sign Language and can interpret for our deaf patients. When Hannahs not in the office you can find her in her kitchen whipping up tasty meals for her husband and 3 kids.
A self proclaimed enamel hugger, Dr. Carrieis honored to help her patients attain a high level of health, beauty and well-being. She states, My goal for all of my patients is to help themunderstand all of their options. I talk with every one of my patients about their health, their needs, their busy lives and their financial concerns and we find solutions together that suit each individual patient.
During her studies at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Mauterer was heavily involved in many leadership positions including class president for two years and president of her schools American Student Dental Association chapter.
Dr. Carrieis a prominent figure in the Colorado dental community and is an advocate for building a strong healthcare community. She was honored to be awarded fellowships in both the Pierre Fauchard Society and the International College of Dentists. For four years she served the local Metropolitan Denver Dental Society (MDDS) board. While serving asthe editor of theArticulatorMagazine, she published dozens of her editorials and wontwo awards from the International College of Dentists for her editorial work . She has served the American Dental Association in the positions of Alternate Delegate and Delegate (elected by her peers) for a few years now. She currently chairsthe MDDS outreach committee, she is a trainer for The Cavity Free at 3 Program, andis a member of the American Dental Association (ADA),the Colorado Dental Association (CDA), and the Metro Denver Dental Society (MDDS). She was awardedMDDS Volunteer of the Yearaward in 2013 and theMDDS Chair of the Yearaward in 2017.
Dr. Carrieis married to her husband Jason who is a custom woodworker. They are the proud parents of fiveboys as well as proud chicken tenders of 8 hens. There are also 3 bunny rabbits and one cat mixed into their home life cacophony. In her free time (whats that?!?) she enjoys reading, gardening,and being outdoorswith her family.
Dr. Derby is a true Colorado native. She was born and raised in Sterling, CO, and she stayed in the state for dental school, attending the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Derby spent a year as a General Dental Resident at the University of Colorado Health Science Center. It was here that she was able to get extensive training in all the areas of General Dentistry, which included pediatrics, prosthodontics, oncology, emergency care and more. Additionally, she currently is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Colorado Dental Association (CDA), and the Metro Denver Dental Society (MDDS). She also was elected by her peers for the honor of being a Pierre Fauchard Fellow for her contributions to the art and science of the dental field.
