Dr. David R. Smith is a skilleddentist in Appleton, WI. He and his wife Veronica, also a dentist, are the proud parents of four sons; Sam, Ben, Nick and Daniel. A native Nebraskan, Dr. Smith attended Creighton University in Omaha, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1988 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1992. Following graduation from dental school, Doctors Smith founded The Family Smile Center in Fairbury, Nebraska where they practiced together until moving to Wisconsin in 2006. Until assuming the Appleton dental clinicofDr. Gregory Luddenin 2013, he servedas a dentist for the State of Wisconsin.
Dr. Smith takes great pride in providing exceptional dental careand is committed to advancing his clinical skills through a variety of continuing dental education experiences and advancements in technology. Realizing the significant links between a patients dental health and overall health, Dr. Smith will consult with you to discuss ways to increase your well-being through proper oral health techniques. He is a member of the Wisconsin Dental Association, the American Dental Association and previously served as a Trustee for the Nebraska Dental Association. The Smiths enjoyspending time camping, hiking, traveling and enjoying water sports on the Fox River System. They have also hosted several foreign exchange students over the past fifteen years. Dr. Smith serves the community through volunteer work at Tri-County Dental Clinic in Appleton, Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Parish in Oshkosh, as a leader with Boy Scouts of America and with the Northeast Wisconsin Passion Play. Anna has been interested in teeth and dentistry since she was a child. She began her dental career working as a dental assistant for 6 years. She graduated from Fox Valley Technical College in 2018 with her Associates degree in Dental Hygiene. Anna values knowledge and plans to further her education in the health field. I love getting to know my patients and educating them to help them achieve a healthy beautiful smile! Outside of work, Anna enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, traveling, reading, yoga, cooking and trying new foods.
Olena started her career as dental assistant and joined our team in July 2019, after she graduated from Weekend Dental School in Appleton, WI. She enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and confident about their smile.
Paige has been a dental hygienist for over 32 years. She graduated from NWTC. She has provided free dental care and education on oral health to the less fortunate. She takes pride in making her number one priority her patients comfort and treatment, knowing that they trust her recommendations. Paige lives in Neenah with her husband Tom (over 31 years). They have two children together and two beautiful granddaughters that call her GiGi! I enjoy cycling, jet skiing and scrap booking and of course babysitting the granddaughters in my free time. I also love to watch the Green Bay Packers !!

It's not often that you say you LOVE going to the dentist, but I do love going to this dentist. From great cleanings and fillings to an AMAZING new crown (that matches my other teeth perfectly), I have full trust in this dentist.

We've been going to Apple Town dental since this location opened on Richmond Street. It has always been a great experience with their friendly and professional staff. Paige did a great job on my son's routine cleaning today. This is a nice place for adults AND kids, too!

The staff at Apple Town Dental are always amazing and professional, all the way from their front desk to the hygienists in the back. I've always had a comfortable and calm experience, which is rare for me at the dentist. Dr. Smith does amazing work and is thorough with all of his explanations. An overall great experience!

Dr. David Smith is extremely personable. You can't get any nicer. His staff is amazing! I left my previous dental office after 18 years to get a more personalized experience. It's great to know I will be seeing the same Doctor, Dental Hygienist and see the same smiling faces as they welcome you to your appointment. My husband and I are happy we made the change. I love the office, the dental care, and the membership availability. My hygienists have always been great, but often different people. I would also prefer that the separate dental chairs had more privacy. I will continue to get my care at Apple Town. Thank you!

I am very pleased with the dental services at Appletown Dental Care. All of the staff was courteous and welcoming. Each service provided was done with obvious attention to detail. Dr Smile was kind and professional. He explained procedures and clarified any concerns I had. Due to his skill I now want to proudly want to smile every chance I get. So pleased and recommended his services the day after my dental work was completed.

Have been there twice and will never go back. Both times the dentist didn't give me the time of day. Horrible bedside manner. I had a legitimate concern that was not addressed because my insurance "didn't have benefits"
