Dr. Laura Stewart was born and raised in Mount Vernon, Washington. She attended Pacific Lutheran University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biology. Dr. Laura ventured east for dental school and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2007. As a new dentist, she desired a meaningful way to begin her career and joined the Indian Health Service. She spent two years on a reservation in rural northern Minnesota and helped develop comprehensive care at an under-served facility. After gaining experience in both public health and private practice, Dr. Laura realized her passion for treating children and completed a pediatric dental residency at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska in 2013. Dr. Laura is delighted to make the Pacific Northwest her home again and looks forward to having a lasting effect on the dental health of children in her community and beyond.
Dr. Edward Chin is a graduate of the University of Michigan where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery and specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry while concurrently completing his Masters of Science Degree.
He continues to lecture internationally on a range of topics in his specialized field of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Chin enjoys creating the most aesthetically pleasing results for all of his patients and he has a keen interest in arch development and early treatment orthodontics. Some of the expansive number of procedures that Dr. Chin is trained to do include: full mouth rehabilitation, white or silver fillings, stainless steel crowns, porcelain crowns, porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, pulpotomies, pulpectomies, root canals, simple extractions, surgical extractions, space maintenance, palatal expansion, space regaining, arch development, complete orthodontics and many other services. All of the above mentioned interests have been included as a part of Dr. Chins practice focus throughout his career.
Dr. Chin is very calm and passionate about what he does and strives to be a positive influence in developing a strong dental experience for both parents and children alike. He continues to update his skills by taking multiple continuing education courses and participating in a full range of professional development that exceeds the requirements for State licensure. As a testament to Dr. Chins commitment to his professional excellence he has completed the rigorous examination process that qualifies him to be a part of a special group of Pediatric Dentists worldwide who have earned the distinction of Diplomat status with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Rosemary Chen achieved a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of British Columbia then went on to graduate magna cum laude from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. During her tenure at Boston University, she was awarded the Certificate of Achievement Award in Operative Dentistry. In addition to practicing dentistry, Dr. Chen also volunteered with the Boston Special Olympics as well as numerous other local organizations. She is passionate about her patients oral health and is excited to be an integral part of the team at Apple Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Emily Johnson grew up in Phoenix, Arizona where she received a Bachelors Degree in Biology at the University of Arizona in 2015. She continued her studies and received a Doctor of Medical Dentistry from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Arizona in 2019. After dental school, Dr. Emily was passionate about learning more about providing care for pediatric patients and patients with medical and behavioral complexities. With this passion for pediatric care, Dr. Emily started her pacific northwest adventure after matching at the NYU Langone Hospital pediatric residency program in Yakima, WA. During her time in residency, she was selected to complete a supplemental training program called Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities. Through this program, and with mentorship from her on-site faculty in Yakima, Dr. Emily received extensive training on the treatment of patients with special health care needs. Dr. Emily is passionate about addressing the oral health needs for all types of pediatric patients in this beautiful area. She looks forward to providing great dental care, building positive dental experiences for your little ones, and getting to know each of you and your families.

I have been taking my children here for years and never had any complaints so far. I can be particular and take customer service seriously. From the receptionist to the Dental Assistants, I have been impressed by the team's courtesy, the staff's overall attentiveness and the attractiveness of their office. One thing I did notice is that during our last visit, I had no communication with the doctor that was present at that time. I previously took my children to Arlington Pediatric Dentistry and always had a conversation with the doctor there. I think it is nice for the doctor to speak with families and have more of a relationship with them. After checking my children's teeth, he just went straight to his office. Overall, l will continue to bring my children here and will recommend this office to others. UPDATE: Some of the staff should be appear more clean and presentable. You are a reflection of the clinic you are working for.

Amazed by this place.....had initial consultation and was less than impressed by the facilities. Just old. Not run down or anything. But the people were pretty good. The following week my 4 year old needed 2 filings with crowns with a nerve removed. Obviously I was nervous but the staff was INCREDIBLE!!!! They did so good with my kid even when I was looking away myself scared for him. They had a tablet above the light to watch his favorite show and had "candy gas" to help him relax. I would recommend apple dentistry to anyone needing oral care for their child!!

I've been bringing my child here for a couple of years. The staff has always been very professional and helpful. The anxiety and worries of my child have always been addressed with honesty and age appropriate explanations that are helpful. I would recommend.

My son needed an urgent appointment for a sore tooth and they were able to get him quickly. Everyone was super friendly and professional, they took the time to make sure that he was comfortable and all of his questions were answered as well as mine. I would highly recommend them!

The best children's dentist EVER! I cannot begin to explain how above and beyond the staff has gone to help my children on multiple occasions. My oldest started going here at 2 years old (10 years ago) and despite having really bad teeth and needing lots of work because of the amazing staff he still loves the dentist. He truly looks forward to going to dentist. Unfortunately we moved to East coast for 3 years and my second child started going to a pediatric dentist there. After several very traumatic experiences at there he was absolutely terrified of dentists. When we moved back to Washington and I was able to schedule them both appointments at our favorite place i really wasn't sure if they'd be able do anything with my now 7 year old second child. He was so terrified he cried the whole drive in. But the staff worked there magic to make him feel comfortable and in control. And he actually happily had a full exam, x-rays and a cleaning. A true miracle! His whole attitude about going to the dentist has changed and I'm so grateful to everyone at Apple . They really are amazing!

Absolutely amazing experience for my daughter and I! The staff is incredible, knowledgeable and very sweet. My daughter came in nervous but quickly relaxed with the help of the dental assistant. We're home now and she cannot stop talking about how fun the dentist was!

I have been taking my 7 yr old here since he was 9 mo old. They are wonderful! My older son came here until he became an adult lol! Little man needs a few adjustments due to his issues but they seem to have him well in hand. Going back for some work soon, he is pretty confident! Update: They adhere to current health mandates, and that is reassuring. My son has more anxiety as he gets older and these professionals have no problem helping him feel comfortable.

Exceptional with kids! They explain every step of the cleaning to the child and even sing as they brush the teeth, so sweet! My 6 year old loves going to the dentist, he's been coming here since he was 3.
