Dr. Laura Stewart was born and raised in Mount Vernon, Washington. She attended Pacific Lutheran University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biology. Dr. Laura ventured east for dental school and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2007. As a new dentist, she desired a meaningful way to begin her career and joined the Indian Health Service. She spent two years on a reservation in rural northern Minnesota and helped develop comprehensive care at an under-served facility. After gaining experience in both public health and private practice, Dr. Laura realized her passion for treating children and completed a pediatric dental residency at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska in 2013. Dr. Laura is delighted to make the Pacific Northwest her home again and looks forward to having a lasting effect on the dental health of children in her community and beyond.
Dr. Edward Chin is a graduate of the University of Michigan where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery and specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry while concurrently completing his Masters of Science Degree.
He continues to lecture internationally on a range of topics in his specialized field of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Chin enjoys creating the most aesthetically pleasing results for all of his patients and he has a keen interest in arch development and early treatment orthodontics. Some of the expansive number of procedures that Dr. Chin is trained to do include: full mouth rehabilitation, white or silver fillings, stainless steel crowns, porcelain crowns, porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, pulpotomies, pulpectomies, root canals, simple extractions, surgical extractions, space maintenance, palatal expansion, space regaining, arch development, complete orthodontics and many other services. All of the above mentioned interests have been included as a part of Dr. Chins practice focus throughout his career.
Dr. Chin is very calm and passionate about what he does and strives to be a positive influence in developing a strong dental experience for both parents and children alike. He continues to update his skills by taking multiple continuing education courses and participating in a full range of professional development that exceeds the requirements for State licensure. As a testament to Dr. Chins commitment to his professional excellence he has completed the rigorous examination process that qualifies him to be a part of a special group of Pediatric Dentists worldwide who have earned the distinction of Diplomat status with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Rosemary Chen achieved a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of British Columbia then went on to graduate magna cum laude from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. During her tenure at Boston University, she was awarded the Certificate of Achievement Award in Operative Dentistry. In addition to practicing dentistry, Dr. Chen also volunteered with the Boston Special Olympics as well as numerous other local organizations. She is passionate about her patients oral health and is excited to be an integral part of the team at Apple Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Emily Johnson grew up in Phoenix, Arizona where she received a Bachelors Degree in Biology at the University of Arizona in 2015. She continued her studies and received a Doctor of Medical Dentistry from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Arizona in 2019. After dental school, Dr. Emily was passionate about learning more about providing care for pediatric patients and patients with medical and behavioral complexities. With this passion for pediatric care, Dr. Emily started her pacific northwest adventure after matching at the NYU Langone Hospital pediatric residency program in Yakima, WA. During her time in residency, she was selected to complete a supplemental training program called Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities. Through this program, and with mentorship from her on-site faculty in Yakima, Dr. Emily received extensive training on the treatment of patients with special health care needs. Dr. Emily is passionate about addressing the oral health needs for all types of pediatric patients in this beautiful area. She looks forward to providing great dental care, building positive dental experiences for your little ones, and getting to know each of you and your families.

If you have a child these folks are absolutely wonderful! My young one doesn't like needles and yet he's had no problem with any procedures here. They are so good with him. I am so glad we found them. We've been patients for 4 years, really excited when they opened the Lynden office.

Dr. Rosie and her team are a dream come true! We were blown away by their professionalism and care from the second we walked in till the moment we left. The office itself is warm and welcoming and the arcade games are a fantastic ice breaker. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our kiddo felt comfortable and safe. I especially loved how Dr. Rosie would address the questions towards him and ask if he needed breaks periodically. She was so enthusiastic and encouraging, it was such a breath of fresh air. We've never had such a positive experience at the dentist or with any doctor for that matter. I wish we had found Dr. Rosie sooner.

My two teenagers had appointments yesterday and drove themselves to the appointment after school...without me. I figured they are capable enough let me know if there were any issues with their teeth. I really like how thorough snd communicative Dr. Rosie is... She texted my cell phone after the kids appointments! It took her only a few minutes but completely impressed me! She thoughtfully texted me information to read concerning an issue my son was having (TMJ) and let me know she sent him home with a referral to follow up with a specialist. What a wonderful dentist she is! I would definitely recommend Apple Pediatric Dentistry - they are knowledgeable, thoughtful and truly care for their patients.

Dr, Rosey and team have been amazing with my boys. Our oldest has always been great when it comes to the dentist but our youngest is special needs so we were a little nervous coming up to his first appointment and Dr. Rosey was wonderful with him. The office is always accommodating and helpful in getting back to back appointments for our kiddos so we don't have to make multiple trip.

Love Apple Pediatric Dentistry in Lynden. Dr Rosie and staff are super fantastic. I love that they're able to accommodate 3 kiddos at the same time or back to back. Love how they explain to the kiddos what they are doing and what the tools are that they're using. This last time going was a 1st time visit for my almost 18 month old that wasn't having it but Dr Rosie was super patient and knew how to calm my little man down. Thank you Dr Rosie and staff.

Possibly the best takeaway from our daughter's first dental visit was the coaching Dr. Rosey gave us in how to brush her teeth. Every day since has gotten better! Thank you, Dr. Rosey and Team, we are looking forward to seeing ya'll next visit!!!

Very much do not appreciate how much we are hassled in the waiting area if you don't have a mask on even for a second!! The lady at the front desk has been continually rude. The only reason we are still here is because my daughter really does enjoy her dentist and it does seem like she knows what she's doing! But we have had to wait OUTSIDE because my six year old couldn't keep a mask on and it was freezing... Also had my one year old with me and having to wait outside sucked.

Apple Pediatric Dentistry is by far the best!! Dr. Rosie is absolutely amazing with the kids and they love her so much! All of the dental hygienists are super sweet and great at their jobs. Everyone is so patient and kind to the kids, we love them!
