Dr. Barlow has been practicing advanced quality conservative dentistry for over 14 years. She draws great satisfaction from making smiles healthier and brighter. Dr. Barlow graduated with High Honors from the prestigious Boston University School of Dental Medicine and is excited to bring her gentle touch to Springfield.
As a practitioner, Dr. Barlow believes that dentistry is a marriage of art and science that must be performed without pain or discomfort to patients. She holds this principle dearly and expects all of her staff to abide by the same philosophy. During your visit, you will be presented with a thorough understanding of your dental health and a clear treatment plan.Dr. Barlow is actively involved with Special Olympics. For the past 25 years she has supported the Special Olympics as a volunteer, ice skating coach, bowling coach, and Special Olympics Special Smiles participant and supporter.
Dr. Barlow continues to improve her skills, taking advanced courses particularly in the fields of cosmetic dentistry, implantology, pediatric dentistry, and orthodontics. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

I absolutely love going to Apple Family Dentistry. First, they are always on time and the appointments are quick. Secondly, Dr. Barlow is so kind. Even when I have an issue she is so nice about it and gives a gentle reminder of what I need to do. I would recommend this practice to anyone, especially those who made need a gentler dentist.

Such great staff and very efficient! I brought my three kids and myself in, and even though we had a lot to do, we were in and out quickly. We have some very unique issues and Dr. Barlow was kind and helped calm our concerns, answered questions and gave great advice. Would definitely recommend :).

I have been looking for a competent and honest dentist for a year now. We tried a few in the area (West Springfield). I saw a few reviews on Dr. Barlow that led me to think she might be the one. I was not disappointed. She did a very thorough job on my check up and cleaning and she didn't try to upsell me - most of my previous dentist wanted to drill out the silver fillings in the back of my mouth and replace them with filings that aren't going to last as long. If you want a good honest dentist she is it.

Dr. Barlow is excellent! She doesn't overbook, is generally on time and takes the time to explain issues and options. Her staff are always professional and friendly, especially her admin assistant. My teenage kids like her too. The new facility looks great Dr. Barlow! I'm sad to leave her and have to search for a Virginia Beach dentist.

The dentist and Cindy double teamed me and knocked out my filling with a new one in no time. Not only that they had me laughing the whole time with their jokes. They got the job done with some good laughs. Recommend them.
