Even though a dentist will do everything they can do to ensure that you are comfortable and pain-free during your visit and treatment, there are some who find themselves apprehensive about the dentists chair altogether. Dental fear and anxiety can be a real and traumatizing situation, which is often impossible to avoid for many patients. In scenarios where patients have a difficult time with dental anxiety and fear, sedation dentistry is often the best route of treatment to take.
Sedation dentistry is basically a professional term for obtaining dental treatment while under anesthesia to some degree, whether it is mild sedation or completely asleep. Sedation during dental treatment is ideal for patients who have extreme anxiety, such as those with disabilities, who are elderly, or even young. However, general patients can also obtain sedation during their procedures if they experience a great deal of anxiety with treatment otherwise.
Sedation can come in a variety of different forms during dental treatment. A patient may be given nitrous oxide, which is one of the more common forms of sedation and involves gas inhaled through the nose and is sometimes referred to as laughing gas. Oral medications may be administered to induce a state of calmness and reduce anxiety. In the most extreme cases, sedation dentistry will involve the dentist working with an anesthesiologist to administer intravenous sedatives that will help a patientsleep through the entire procedure, much like what they would during a surgical procedure.
If sedation is not covered by a patients insurance plan, most dentists will work out some type of payment arrangement or get the patient in touch with a third-party lender who can help finance the charges for treatment.
Sedation dentistry is generally a safe option for most patients, without a lot of side effects to be concerned about. However, before any form of anesthesia is used for dental sedation purposes, the dentist will go over a patients medical history and condition to make sure there are no existing conditions that could be a problem with anesthesia. Patients who have some illnesses and disease may not be good candidates for anesthesia, but this will be discussed prior to treatment.
The bottom line is this: sedation dentistry can be an incredibly effective form of treatment for those patients who have issues with normal dental procedures, such as extractions or fillings. It is always a good idea to talk any treatment anxieties and fears that you may have over with your dentist to determine if sedation dentistry may be the best route of treatment to take.

Basically they changed my wires once the whole 1 year I was going to that place, after that they stopped changing my wires to adjust my teeth I don't know why. Also the receptionist manager was really rude, I tried to schedule an appointment for my teeth to be tighten but she said it was all booked till next month but then when I went to the office she mentioned I never told you it was booked and why Didn't I schedule but I kept mentioning to her she litterly told me it was booked, also wanted me to pay upfront without even seeing me. This is very unprofessional of their work and I'm very disappointed in their service.

Apple Dentist is affordable. Staff very welcoming. I have been a patient since December 2021 when I first began my braces journey. No complaints.

This dentist could have such an impact on the community, but the staff attitudes are horrific a child is already scared half the time to get dental work done, and they are not the nicest people especially to kids!! And who gives out candy after a cleaning it's so much more to give the kids to encourage them to brush and floss I have good days and bad days customers are more comfortable with a nice environment fyi

While service was fast, for self employed the downpayment was too high near $800.00 now all treatment varies but the downpayment should be tailored for a reasonable range. Of course marketing can get the best of some , but all in all the breakdown was not logical. I advise checking prior.

This is a shady business. My girlfriend told me that she was going to come to Apple dentist for dental care... I already warned her to find a different provider because I heard of so many shady business practices that they so here. My girlfriend insisted on using their service. It turned out I was right. They told my gf that her Healthcare insurance will cover everything and she doesn't need to pay for anything out of pockets. Few months later, they call her and inform her that she owes $700 for cleaning??? Please take your business somewhere else.

Been taking my daughter there for about a year she's about halfway done with the braces... in the beginning her appointments were within the appointment time frame however in the last 6 months every month we've been almost waiting for 3 hours which is unacceptable for the amount of money that we paid... they are limited to one doctor that is overseeing all the overbooked patients..... I voiced my concerns every month for the last 3 months and the only solution they offered me was to make sure that my daughter's appointment was the first one of the day....lol if I had the opportunity to redo it this place would not be the one!!!!

If I could give this place a zero I would. It is so unprofessional!! It was my first time here everything was a mess. I had to wait 3 hrs just for nothing!! Wasted 3 hrs of my time. The place looked very messy and unprofessional this is just not it! I do not recommend this place.
