Daniel A Grumke is a graduate of the University of Missouri at St Louis where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in organic chemistry. He returned to school at the University of Missouri Dental School to earn his dental degree.In addition to general and cosmetic dentistry, Dr Grumke performs root canals and extractions.He also employs the diagnodent for precise decay detection as well as intra oral cameras for better visual analysis.

DR. GRUMKE IS A GREAT GUY AND ALL, BUT HE IS ABSOLUTELY GENERAL DENISTRY. THAT MEANS NO EXTRACTIONS AND NO IMPLANTS. HE DID CHARGE ME $100 FOR X-RAYS ,WHEN WE BOTH KNEW IT WAS GOING TO BE EXTRACTED AND HE SENT ME SOMEWHERE ELSE, WHERE I WAS TOLD THAT I WAS GOING TO LIVE WITH FOUR MORE DAYS OF SEVERE PAIN. IN OTHER WORDS , WHY NOT GO SOMEWHERE THAT CAN EXAMINE YOU AND DO THE WORK. TIME IS VERY VALUABLE, WHY GO TO 2 SEPERATE PLACES. I WISH I WOULD HAVE NOT.

I am updating my review to thank Terri! I have been going to this dentist for many years and was recently pregnant for the first time. I was not feeling well and Terri went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during my cleaning. I left feeling so encouraged and I ended feeling great throughout the cleaning, so thank you Terri! 4 years ago: Very profressional, personable, convenient, and quality care! Have been coming here for many years and Elle and Dr. Grumke always make me feel at home and informed on how my teeth are doing. Would recommend them to any family as they serve my whole family!

Incompetent front desk & dental hygienist. My family has been coming here for years, and now we are DONE! Terrie spent my entire cleaning appointment telling me I need to whiten my teeth and replace silver filings that Dr. Grumke placed less than 3 years ago! My husband had Kim clean his teeth, he said she talked the whole time and hardly spent any time in his mouth. The office manager Jennifer is always in a bad mood. My husband had work done by Dr. Herman and was given an estimate by Logyn that was several hundred dollars less. When we asked the office manager, what insurance didn't cover, she snapped at my husband and told him to check his EOB, pay the bill today, and if he disagrees he can find a new doctor! WOW, we just wanted to know what we were paying for and what wasn't covered! We are sorry we had to leave Dr. Herman, Chris, and Mike but your front desk, office manager, and hygienist are incompetent, we deserve better care!

This is a truly fantastic dental office, and I highly recommend going here for your dental care needs. My first appointment was with Jane, the hygienist, and she was excellent. She was extremely nice and explained everything she was doing, and she took the time to answer all of my questions. I had a follow-up appointment to get my filling, and Chris, the dental assistant, was also great. She was super friendly and immediately put me at ease. I needed that considering how especially nervous I was to get my first filling at 35. I should also mention that Dr. Herman is just delightful. He was professional, thorough, and extremely kind. I had a great experience- felt like I was practically among my own family. If you're looking for an excellent place to go, please check out Apple Dental. I'm confident you won't regret it.

I visited Apple Dental today on short note appointment. The dentist facility is very classy, and waiting time is reasonably short. Dr. Herman and his staff are very knowledgeable, skillful with very friendly attitude. After good cleaning session, Dr. Herman and his co-staff explained all details of my teeth condition, work need to be done. I highly recommend Apple Dental , Dr. Herman and his staffs.

Great service. They always do a great job cleaning my teeth. They helped repair my teeth from grinding at a reasonable price and referred me to a great specialist to have my wisdom teeth removed.

Dr. Grumke and Dr. Herman are great! 10/10 would recommend. The in-house financing is amazing and makes it affordable. These two dentists make "going to the dentist" a cake walk. Best dentists in STL.
