I have only had one other dentist as patient as this good man.I have PTSD and pretty much fear dentist's but he is very good and I have enjoyed my time there. Also my service dog Shirley has been welcome and they also love her.I cannot say enough how thorough he is fitting my new dentures which is awesome. After 2 years not having them I am very happy. So thank you and all your staff. They even gave me bus fare for us to get home!!! Wow that is very special!!!

We've been with Dr. Yuan for years and he's always been very honest and professional. He would not ask you to do unnecessary procedures or tests and would always keep your best interest in mind in his practice. We really trust him and would recommend him to anyone who needs a reliable dentist.

I was not very impressed with this establishment. Everyone was very nice! However, I hate to say it, but the dentist didn't seem confident at all. He could not clearly tell me if I had a cavity or not, even with x-rays. I left the office unsure of what to do next. My previous dentist on the east coast who I just saw in November said he thinks I have a cavity but wanted to see xrays. At that time I didn't have insurance so I figured I would wait to get X-rays here in AZ once my insurance started this January. The dentist at API told me I might have a cavity but asked if I could get my paperwork sent from my old dentist so he can "double check." (I don't know how he couldn't tell by looking and also having the X-rays right in front of him) Then when I was walking out, the receptionist asked if I wanted to schedule another visit in 6 months! So...no cavity??? I also thought it was weird that there was no spit out sink in the exam room... I had to go to the bathroom down the hall after the cleaning to rinse out my mouth. There also was not a dental hygienist. The dentist himself did the cleaning,(not sure if that's a normal thing??) which also didn't feel very thorough. I hate to leave a bad review and I have only been to one other dentist in my life so I only have one place to compare it to. The office was also pretty dirty and the equipment was dusty. Unfortunately, I don't plan to come back here.
