Dr. Short performed a retreatment of a root canal on me and I had the most delightful experience. He is very good at what he does and is a thorough Profesional, explaining my situation and my treatment options. His nursing staff were all professional and helpful as well. He is the real deal!

Dr Short gave me excellent service! I have been to him before and this was my 2nd time. Each time he is gentle with my teeth( I do not like going to the dentist) and very informative with the process he is performing. He walked me thru each step and next thing I knew I was done! Assistants were great also! No pain during and after the process. Took combination of pain pills and after the numbness wore off, there was still no pain. I will be going back to him for bleaching and I am very satisfied with my service. I just wish he could be my primary dentist! I will refer him to anyone that needs a Endodontics.

Best endodontist I have ever met, I was referred by someone and I am very pleased. Do not go to franchise places, go to private owned! Dr. Short and staff are very professional, very knowledgeable and nobody is confused. I went to sage dental at beginning of the year for two root canals, and they chipped my tooth in the process of drilling too much. Dr. Short is a master at root canals.

Dr Short and his staff are the best. I've had a few root canals done at a general dentist and have paid the price. After switching dentist I was referred to Dr Short for a root canal. I feared it would be like the ones I had before. But the experience was different, the procedure went really smooth. Like I could tell it was someone who knew what they were doing. After It was finished and I got a new crown put on I knew I made a good choice in Apex. Fast forward 3 years and one of the original root canals I had done at a general family dentist suddenly gets an infection by the roots. So I head back to Dr Short to see what's the cause and if it's still salvageable. And of course Dr Short takes a look and says we are good. He can do a retreatment. As it turns out the the original Dr didn't get all the way to the bottom of the root. Leaving space for the tooth to get an infection. Lesson learned by me was not to be cheap on your teeth. Find the best and take care of your self. Luckily I have Dr Short in my hometown. Thank you Dr Short and staff for being friendly and for the excellent care.

Listen, Dr. Short gave me my smile back, literally. I can smile again and feel good doing it. He knows what he's doing. I had 0 concerns before, during, or after my root canal and internal bleaching with him, because he made me feel at ease. I did my research for about 2 and a half years trying to find the right endodontist for me. I'm glad I took my time and didn't rush it, because Dr. Short was the perfect match! He explained everything clearly and he was confident; which made me feel at ease & gave me a sense that he truly knows what he's doing and is THE BEST at it. Once the procedure was done, i was like "yep, he's THAT GUY! He is the one. God led me to his office." The staff is very sweet and helpful. I have nothing but great things to say about Apex Endodontist. If you've been searching for an endodontist, Dr. Short is the one for you. It's your smile, choose wisely. Dr. Short is the wisest choice. Period!

I was referred to Dr. Short by my primary dentist to help with a previous root canal (by a different provider) that had been done incorrectly. He was great at walking me through everything both during our initial consult and during the re-treatment. I felt confident knowing what steps he was taking to help and didn't feel a thing during the retreatment (which I can't say for the provider that did it initially). I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for endodontic services!

Excellent experience. This was my second root canal completed by Dr Short. I went back! That should say a lot right there. Both my procedures were, let's say in high need, and Dr Short and staff gave me great care and I left with little discomfort. Thank you for very professional service.

I referred my daughter to Dr. Shorts office because I originally had a good experience with him when we first moved to the Atlanta area years ago. I felt that he was the best doctor for her and would help her resolve the issue she was having with her tooth. He eventually recommended and did a root canal. Before visiting Dr. Short she had no anxiety about dental visits and was very comfortable with it. She felt that he rushed the procedure and was not as professional as one might expect from an endo of his caliber.

I can't recall a time when I had a wonderful dental experience; however, Dr Short and his staff changed that. The professionalism from the moment I hit the door untilI left drove out the parking lot. Literally no PAIN!!! I'm still in shock. I'm seriously considering making this my dental home

Check the Better Business Bureau and the GA Board of Dentistry before you go here. Dentist with God complex who is good at marketing. I was a little apprehensive going in as the office space did not look like that of a dentist who was reinvesting in his business. On August 10, 2022 I went to Dr. Rico Short for a root canal consult. During the consult he informed me that he would recommend a 360 because my roots were very close to my nerve. He said if he didn't do the 360 he might not know how deep to go and it might create lingering problems for me in the future. He kept asking me repeatedly if I wanted to commit to a 360 X-ray that was going to cost an additional $250. I let him know that before I committed to this out-of-pocket cost that I needed to understand his schedule as I would be traveling during the month of September and wanted to make sure that I would be able to get the procedure done before I left. and I kept responding in a similar matter that I needed to wait to see what his schedule looked like. I felt pressured to make a decision immediately however I was not willing to commit until I understood the timing. Upon checkout, he asked me again whether I wanted to do the 360 and I responded that I was going to go to the front desk to check his schedule. He then informed me that it would be better if I take my business elsewhere. He said he did not like my personality, I was rude and that he did not want to work with me. I was surprised and said how can you refuse my business because you don't like me but charge me for a consult. Are you willing to refund my consult? That's a little unprofessional as I now have to go to another provider that my insurance will not cover. He said that he has been in business for many years and he does celebrities and many famous people, and that there is no reason for him to give me a refund. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and called his business so they could give me his license number so I could file this complaint. The lady at the front desk was not willing to provide it to me and she said that an office manager was going to contact me. Upon reading his reviews there were many similar complaints I decided that it is better for future customers to be aware of his unprofessional behavior. I had to take time off from my busy work schedule to conduct this appointment and I now have to take time off again. I was extremely disappointed with his lack of professionalism.

Doctor Short and staff at Apex Endodontics provided excellent service!! I was referred to him by my dentist. I needed an emergency root canal, and the front office was able to make the appt asap. She is very nice & friendly! Well, found out I needed two root canals WHOA!! Dr Short explain each step during the exam. His assistant is very kind and attentive! They made sure I was comfortable. The procedure went well!! Thanks Dr Short! You and your assistant are a great team I highly recommend going to Apex if you need to see an Endodontist.
