GRACE, COMFORT, and PRECISION is the practice philosophy that Dr. Xiaoxian (Sue) Meng has devoted to all her patients and referring dentists! This philosophy is not only rooted in Dr. Sues educational background, but also reinforced by the latest technologies and top the notch equipment in the office, such as Surgical Microscopes, CBCT, digital X-rays, and GentleWave technology.
Dr. Sue earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the prestigious Ivy League University, the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, in 2008. Subsequently, she completed a two-year Endodontic specialty residency from the Lutheran Medical Center in New York (Now the New York University Langone Hospital), where she was awarded her certificate in Endodontics and the plaque for Outstanding Service as Resident. Prior to earning her dental credentials, Dr. Sue obtained the Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree in 2002 and the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Health Services Research in 2005 from the University of Florida.
Emily received formal education earning her Associates Degree in Applied Science from the Miller Motte College Dental Assisting Program in Wilmington NC in 2016. She proudly graduated at the top of her class with a 4.0 GPA. Emily successfully passed three Dental Assisting National Boards (DANB), achieving her nationally recognized Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential. She has been constantly taking Continuing Education courses, not only to maintain her CDA certification for the past four years, but also to improve her skills and keep up with the most upfront technologies in endodontics.
Emily is warm, welcoming, and most importantly very attentive to our patients needs. She enjoys getting to know our patients at the individual level so that she can build a trusting and harmonious relationship with them. She excels at assisting Dr. Meng under the Endodontic Microscope during the entire treatment and using the latest GentleWavetechnology to achieve precision and comfort.
