In his youth, Dr. Vegesana developed a passion for health and human services. Dentistry seemed a natural fit for his interests: the profession allows him to provide care that improves individuals oral and overall health, and boosts their self-esteem. It also allows him to serve his community and build trusting relationships with those who come to Apex Dental Studio for their care.

Meeting and getting to know people of all ages, with a range of experiences, dreams, and stories, is one of the aspects of dentistry Dr. Vegesana most appreciates. He embraces and celebrates the diversity within the community and treasures the relationships that grow with those he serves.

Throughout the year, Dr. Vegesana participates in numerous continuing education (CE) opportunities. He knows that CE is vital and essential to maintain licensure, as well as to provide the most accurate, up-to-date, and innovative treatment, care, and results.

In addition to attending annual meetings, Dr. Vegesana participates in seminars and lectures, and studies the latest journals. This keeps him abreast of emerging research, trends in dentistry, and new materials and methodologies.

Born in India, Dr. Vegesana resided in Illinois Peoria and East St. Louis as well as Las Cruces, New Mexico, before settling in Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 2014. Outside the office he is most often found with family: wife Teja and son Arjun. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, sports, and reading.

Dr. Vegesana is also active in community outreach and volunteering, believing that giving back is vital to maintain strength and support. He regularly participates in Feed My Starving Children, Mission of Mercy, and local fundraising events.

I love being a dentist. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, and the friendships that Ive built with my patients and their families are one in a million. It has always been my focus to make each patient feel at home when they come to me for treatment and I work hard to give my patients the attention they deserve.

My education in dentistry has provided me with a strong foundation of knowledge and experience. I received aMBA in Healthcare Management prior to completing my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California.

By regularly participating in continuing education, I am aware of the latest technology and dental treatments. My patients deserve the best, and continuing education allows me to provide my patients with more options and better results. Amanda is a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and is certified and licensed by the Dental Assisting National Board. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science, an Associate of Science in Dental Health Services, and has worked in the field since 2006. She joined our team in 2018 and, like all our team members, strives to deliver an exceptional experience to each person we serve. Amanda oversees the day-to-day operations of Apex Dental Studio, keeping us well-organized and prepared, so your visit is worry-free.

A Detroit native, Amanda moved to Winona Lake in 2014. She shares her life with husband Nick and is proud to be a cat mom. In addition to being part of Apex Dental Studio, Amanda is a co-owner, with her husband, of a real estate and photography business. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing guitar, and volunteering/fostering with AWL of Kosciusko County and the Emilie Beard Foundation for Felines.

Whitney graduated from the IPFW Dental Hygiene program in 2013. Whitney has been working alongside Dr. Vegesana for over 6 years now and excels in both diagnosis and treatment of periodontal conditions. Her down-to-earth personality allows her to relate with patients & help them understand the condition of their oral health on an individual basis. Whitney was born and raised in Kokomo and fell in love with her high school sweetheart Jake; they moved to Warsaw and got married in 2015. Whitney and Jake are proud parents to their 2-year-old son Clayton, his soon-to-be baby brother Taylor, and their Labrador Retriever puppy Luna Jo!

Beckycompleted her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Assisting as well as her certifications in Expanded Functions and Coronal Polishing at Ivy Tech. Becky has been in the profession for over 10 years. After working 6 years in dental pediatrics, Becky became part of our team in 2018. As our lead dental assistant, she oversees our clinical operations here at Apex. This includes keeping our clinical team organized and efficient as well as providing clinical care to patients. Becky loves our patients and enjoys getting to know them and providing the most comfortable experience possible. Becky enjoys learning new procedures and strives to give optimal patient care. Becky shares her life with her husband, two sons and grandson. Becky is a proud dog mom to three dogs of her own and one grand-pup. Outside of the office Becky enjoys being outside whether its gardening, going to concerts or sitting by the pool.

Kierra is a Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and is certified by the Dental Assisting National Board. She is an Ivy Tech grad with an Associate in Applied Science. Kierra also holds a certificate in Coronal Polishing. Joining the team in December of 2018, Kierra enjoys meeting new patients and making them feel comfortable. She strives to provide excellent patient care, helping those feel confident about their smile. Outside of work, Kierra spends most of her time with her husband, Brandon, daughter Emelia, and fur baby Ezra. Cooking and reading are Kierras go-to free time activities.

Morgan is an outgoing Dental Assistant and a graduate of South Bend Dental Assisting School. She joined our team immediately after in 2020. Morgan is currently working on obtaining her Expanded Functions certification. Outside of the office, Morgan shares her life with her husband, Preston and their two beautiful daughters, Addison and Avery. If theres one takeaway from your visit, it will be a welcoming experience full of laughter as Morgan has an endless sunny disposition. Most importantly, Morgan wants her patients to know she is first and foremost certified in being cool.

Amy is a 2020 graduate of the IU Fort Wayne Dental Assisting program. Amy also holds a certification in Coronal Polishing and Fluoride Application, joining our team in April of 2021 after passing her national board exams, completing her licensure as a Certified Dental Assistant. Interacting with our patients and helping them understand the importance of dental health is a priority for Amy, which she provides in both English and Spanish. Outside of Apex, Amy can be found spending her time with her nieces and nephews or helping their family businesses. Fun fact, Amy does free-lance makeup for all occasions, and has been doing so for over 6 years.

Veronica is our Patient Relations Coordinator. She was born and raised in Warsaw. She holds a degree in Multicultural Psychology, finding her love for dentistry while volunteering at a non-profit dental clinic in Fort Wayne. Veronica is an incredible bilingual asset to our team and dominates our front of office duties, keeping our schedule flowing smoothly. Veronica is a proud pup mom who enjoys wearing matching sweaters with her dogs. In her spare time, Veronica enjoys working out, spending time with family and listening to her favorite artist, Bad Bunny, who she has full intentions to marry someday.
