Dr. English is an Alabama native. He grew up around the Birmingham area and attended Mississippi State University for his Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. English completed his dental education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1996.
In October 1996, following graduation, Dr. English opened his private practice in Pelham, AL. He sold his practice in 2010 & moved to North Alabama to be closer to his family. For the last 4 years, Dr. English has worked for several group practices and expanded his expertise into many different fields of dentistry. Apex Dental is the culmination of his vision for the future of dentistry with new & innovative ways of providing dental care.
Outside the office, Dr. English enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, playing guitar, & adding to his extensive vinyl record collection. Dentistry is his passion but music is a close second.
Dr. Ethan Dutton Dr. Ethan Dutton was born and raised in Lancaster, South Carolina. Dr. Dutton earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina, and then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. While studying at MUSC Dr. Dutton was published for his research studying three-dimensional scanning technologies in dentistry. He is an active member of The American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, and The Alabama Dental Association
As a part of his firm commitment to dental innovation. Dr. Dutton keeps abreast of the newest developments in his field. He currently offers TRIOS award winning intraoral scanning technology, digital cosmetic imaging, and a variety of other advanced technologies.
Olivia Olivia is our Lead Dental Assistant and newly graduated Hygienist. Her pleasant and calming demeanor puts her patients right at ease. She loves traveling and going to concerts with her friends. She also loves spending time with her family, dalmatian Riley, attending church and babysitting
Cora Cora is a Certified Dental Assistant. She graduated from the Calhoun Community College dental assisting program. She enjoys helping her patients gain confidence with their smile. She is newly married and her and her new husband love riding motorcycles and exploring new places
