Dr. Prachi Sontakke, DMD is a perfect blend of warm personality and exceptional clinical skills. She believes in developing a good relationship with every patient which puts them at ease and sets a path for pleasant and most comfortable dental experience.

Dr. Prachi Sontakke grew up in a family of physicians. She graduated with a DMD degree from advanced standing program of Boston University School of Dental Medicine. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with special interest in cosmetic dentistry, endodontics and implant dentistry.

Dr. Fuller's first priority is the Lord Jesus, his family, and then his work. He has a heart for missions and has been on over 50 different foreign mission trips. He is presently active in establishing a dental outreach for the indigenous people groups in Guyana and Jamaica.

Raised in Greenville, SC, he completed high school, college and dental school in Charleston, SC. He was president of the student body at the College of Charleston and received the prestigious C. Norwood Hasting Award for honor at graduation. At the Medical University of South Carolina he received numerous awards at graduation and served two years with the 3rd Marine Division, receiving many athletic awards and the Navy Achievement Medal. He completed his specialty training at Ohio State University, publishing his study on pain control, taught at the Medical University of South Carolina, and began his private practice in Rock Hill in 1980. Dr. Fuller is active in his church, Rock Hill Bible Fellowship Church, still makes time to run a marathon every few years, and loves to hunt, fish and play golf. He is married and has two grown sons. He is active in several professional organizations, lectures frequently, and brings you years of continuing education and clinical experience. He has a heart of compassion, a gentle touch, loves his work, and continues to pursue it with commitment and excellence. A major emphasis in his specialty practice is patient comfort, pain control, and education.

Dr. Fuller wants you to know that the horror stories on Google related to root canal treatment are distorted and exaggerated, and are based on the focal infection theory of the 1920's - root canal treatment has changed dramatically since then.

The best thing to have in a root is a healthy pulp, and the worst thing is a poorly done root canal treatment with bacteria remaining in the canal. That is why I use a Waterlase laser to vaporize any remaining bacteria after we have cleaned the canal system. The success rate today in root canal therapy or treatment is in the 95% success rate, and the great majority of people having root canal therapy never have any problems, unless they fail to have the tooth properly restored with a crown.
