Dr. Dara Darabi was raised in Southern California. He felt that a healthcare profession would uniquely integrate his passion for science with his desire to work closely with people. He received a Bachelor of Science degree for physics and biochemistry, then attended the Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska, where he was the recipient of multiple scholarships and awards for his achievements in restorative dentistry.
After achieving his dental degree, Dr. Darabi moved to beautiful western Massachusetts, where he worked in a community clinic before opening his own practices, first in Springfield and now in Turners Falls.
Dr. Darabi is a member in good standing with the Academy of General Dentistry and has been recognized as fellow since 2013. He attends numerous continuing education classes and seminars each year to ensure his patients benefit from the latest advancements and techniques in dentistry. Dr. Darabi has also received advanced training in temporomandibular joint (TMJ) therapy and oral surgery. He is an official Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Sarita Patel is a friendly and remarkably skilled clinician with true passion for family dentistry. She aims to provide patients with healthy, beautiful smiles. With her cheerful outlook and a positive attitude, she provides excellent dental care in a relaxed and comfortable manner.
Dr. Patel is a native of Mystic, Connecticut. She joined Apex Dental Associates after attending one of the most prestigious dental schools in the world The New York University College of Dentistry where she completed extensive training for her dental career.

I just switched to this dentist because it is in my insurance network. The staff and doctor are very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a good dentist.

In all my 37 years of life, I've always had nothing but bad experiences with dentists, dreaded going, and downright hated going. This is first dentistry I've found where I FINALLY enjoy going!!! The staff are super nice, they are honest with you and I've had all great experiences with them! Really feel comfortable for the first time and I couldn't be happier to have this feeling. I've been to this one for a couple years almost and I'm staying! If you're looking for a dentist and are scared of the dentist, trust me you'll love it here!!! Sincerely, Amy (very happy patient)!

Awesome dentist and staff! They always have a smile and go out of their way to help. Dr. Durabi did an excellent job replacing my front tooth. You wouldn't know it isn't natural. Rachel has a great handle on insurance and scheduling. Alex is a very knowledgeable and personable hygienist. Truly everyone I have encountered is not only a pleasure but very talented. Apex has beverages too!

I recently had to go to Apex to get 2 cavities filled, which included one that was a very large old cavity that had broken off, as well as a cleaning. That's a lot to get done all at once! Dr. Sarita Patel and her assistant (forgot to her name but very sweet, calming and knowledgeable) were the ones who had to 'fix' me up that day. I went in with much anxiety and they both put me right at ease. The only unfortunate thing for me is that it takes an extremely long time to numb the side of my mouth that needed repair due to nerve damage from decades ago. Both Dr. Patel and her assistant worked great together. They were extremely efficient and explained everything along the way thru this nerve wracking experience (b/c we all just looove going to the dentist, lol). I even learned a few things that were new to me in the cleaning process. Even though it took a total of 2 hours to do the cleaning and repairs with my mouth agape most of the time, they both kept me at ease and took a few quick breaks between procedures. Dr. Patel was jovial all the while still retaining her professionalism. I even have to give credit to Rachel, the receptionist. She seems to be on top of the things, very proficient and has a great memory. As much as I don't like going to the dentist, I give them the highest rating for my overall experience. I hope others will be brave enough to finally get whatever dental things that are probably overdue and go to Apex.

I have been going to Apex Dental for a few years now. I can not say enough about the staff and the atmosphere. The entire staff is really knowledgeable and friendly. Their office is relaxing and very laid back It's the perfect place for anyone with dental anxiety too... they will make sure you feel right at home! I highly recommend Apex Dental Associates!!!

Great experience. I work better by email and Rachel at the front desk was extremely accommodating and prompt via email. Professional staff that explained everything in detail and were very thorough. I even got a cute little welcome gift as a new patient. Highly reccomend. Glad I made the switch!
