Carrie studied biomedical sciences at St. Cloud State University. She then received her applied science degree in dental hygiene at Herzing University in 2006. Making patients feel at ease, connecting oral health to total body health, and seeing patients and their families through all their big and little milestones over the years make dental hygiene truly enjoyable for her. Carrie enjoys seeing patients of all ages and especially pediatric patients. When not at the office, she is busy with her husband and their three young children. She enjoys entertaining friends and family at her home, reading, and teaching Sunday school at her church.
Michelle grew up in southern Minnesota and is a graduate of Mankato State University. Her passion for her work is exemplified in 30 plus years of building trusting relationships, providing gentle patient care and promoting health through proper oral hygiene. Outside of the office, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys the outdoors, especially during the beautiful Minnesota summers! She also loves watching sports, especially the Vikings, Twins, and Wild.
Bernie grew up in southern Minnesota-Wabasha and has lived in Farmington for 13 years. She has been in the dental field for 16 years and a hygienist for 14 years. She loves spending time with her husband, Scott, and her 3 children. During her free time, she enjoys doing activities with her children and spending time outside as much as possible.
Mindy has been a dental hygienist for over twenty years, graduating from Normandales Dental Hygiene program in Bloomington, MN in 2001. In that time, she has worked to foster meaningful connections with patients, while striving to provide exceptional care. Mindy lives in Rosemount, MN with her family. She is happiest spending time watching her children perform in local theater productions. Mindy also enjoys writing, her memoir Embracing Charlie was recognized with a finalist title in the Christian Inspirational category of the 2014 USA Best Book Awards.
Sheridan graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in 2021 where she received her degree in dental hygiene. She loves the dental field because its a great opportunity to connect with people while helping them achieve their dream smile and optimum oral health goals. Sheridan enjoys spending her free time baking, playing volleyball, working out, traveling, and driving fast cars.
Nicole grew up in the Southwest Metro and still resides there today. She attended MN State University Mankato and has been in the dental field since 2006. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her husband, three kids and their two dogs. They are lovers of ALL sports, spending time at the camper with family, going to concerts with friends and being outside as much as possible when it is not a frozen tundra!
Kait grew up in River Falls WI and currently lives in Saint Paul with her husband and their dog, Layla. She has been a medical administrator since 2015 with focus in the dental field since 2019. In her free time she enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking, reading, and seeing live music.
Sol has been a patient coordinator for over 6 years. She is the first face you will see and voice you will hear when arriving at Apelgren Dental! Building lasting relationships with patients is her top priority. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, son, husband, and 2 dogs! In her free time, she loves attending her kids soccer games and teaching Sunday school classes at her local church. Sol loves grilling out and enjoy quality family time!
Cheyanne has been a Dental assistant for over twenty years. Her experience, expertise, and dedication make her a wonderful fit at Apelgren Dental. Outside of the office, she enjoys hiking and gardening, although, she has difficulty keeping her house plants alive! She has two sons ages 18 and 8. She enjoys watching them play baseball and is their number one fan. Welcome, Cheyanne!
As a dental assistant of 8 years Michelle takes pride in patient care and making sure her patients are comfortable and relaxed as possible. She believes there is nothing more satisfying than helping patients complete the steps to making their dream smile become a reality. Michelle enjoys movies, spending time with her family, and going up north to her cabin.
Dr. Jayce Apelgren grew up in Southeastern Wisconsin. He then attended Lawrence University. Following this experience, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Here he fell in love with the Minneapolis area and the love of his life, Dr. Katee Apelgren.
Dr. Jayce has many interests outside of dentistry. Whenever possible, he spends time with his family and friends. One of his biggest hobbies is the outdoors. Dr. Jayce enjoys camping, traveling, fishing, hunting, running, golfing, and much more. He is passionate about volunteer work and believes everyone should have something to smile about. Dr. Jayce was able to see firsthand the type of impact a caring dentist can have on a patient. At the age of 12, he chipped his front teeth in a swimming pool. He was grateful for the kindness and gentle nature that his dentist had at that time. Dr. Jayce has used his experience as a foundation for the care that he delivers to his patients.
Dr. Katee was born and raised in Farmington, Minnesota. She attended the college of Saint Benedict, then completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the Minnesota School of Dentistry where she met her husband, Dr. Jayce Apelgren.
