Melissa started her career in dentistry in 2001 as a Dental Assistant. She joined Apalachee Family Dental in 2018 as a Business Assistant and is enjoying every moment of it. As one of the first smiling faces you will see at the front desk, you can tell that what she loves most about her job is meeting new patients and making them feel comfortable and happy.
Kelly has been with Apalachee Family Dental since we opened our doors in 2015. She enjoys spending time with her daughter and two dogs Ripley and Mattie. Kelly enjoys hiking, kayaking and all things outdoors. Kelly loves making an impact on the health of her patients!
Heather has been a dental hygienist for 6 years. She enjoys making strong and lasting relationships with her patients. Heather is an avid soccer fan and enjoys attending Atlanta United Soccer Games in her spare time.
Sharon has been in dentistry for over a decade and has loved every moment! She provides great dental service by using her knowledge and skill set to educate her patients about oral hygiene to improve their overall health. When she is not in the dental office she enjoys exercising, yoga and spending time with her husband of 15 years and her two young children.
Brittney has been in dentistry for 10 years and has been with Apalachee Family Dental since we opened our doors in 2015. She is a natural born artist and loves helping to create beautiful smiles as well as custom home dcor! When she is not at work, you can find her covered in sawdust and paint in her shop!
Shawnece has been in dentistry for 6 years and joined our Apalachee Family Dental in 2018. Shawnece is very outgoing and loves making long lasting connections with her patients! She has a fianc and three young boys aged 2, 4 and 6 that keep her very busy in her spare time! In addition to caring for her family, Shawnece is also a part time student on her way to becoming a dental hygienist!
Jamie has been in dentistry for over a decade. She helped open our doors in November of 2015 and loves supporting our dentist and team as they deliver quality dental care to our community. In her spare time she loves doing DIY projects with her fianc, Jason and spending time with her two teenage daughters, Amber and Emily.
Jennifer has been in the dental field for over 10 years. She has enjoyed all aspects of the dental office. She started her career as a dental assistant in oral surgery and expanded to the position of Lead Business Assistant. Jennifer makes it her mission to go above and beyond to answer any questions you have in regard to your dental treatment and financial options. Her willingness to help and wealth of knowledge is her guarantee to ensure every patient have the best experience possible. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Shawna has been in the dental field since 2011 and loves taking care of patients and making them feel at ease. Shawna enjoys spending time with her husband of 12 years and their four boys ages 10, 8, 5 and 1. In addition to caring for her family, Shawna is currently in school for Education. Outside of work, you can find her at the baseball fields cheering her boys on!
Lisi started her career in oral surgery with over 5 years of experience. she recently joined Apalachee in 2021 as a Business Assistant. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time at home with her 2 sons and husband.
Amanda has been in dentistry for almost 2 decades. She is very outgoing and loves building relationships with her patients and helping them achieve great oral health. Amanda loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and 3 dogs.
Jade graduated dental hygiene school from Georgia State University in 2019, but has been passionate about dental hygiene since high-school. 'First impressions start with your smile, and that 's what I enjoy giving people.' Jade and her husband, Josh, live in Monroe with their two sweet pups, Stella and Nova. She enjoys going on hikes, cooking new recipes, and spending time with her family.

First time at Apalachee Family Dental. I'm very happy that I chose them as my new dentist. All of the staff was very welcoming, courteous and efficient.They greeted me with smiles. Shanice took care of my x-rays and my pictures She seem to be very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and continued to ask me if there was anything else that I needed. I'm very happy that Apalachee Family dental was on my list of in-network providers I look forward to getting all of my work done with them. Thank you Dr Uddin for putting together such a professional and proficient staff!! If you are looking for a new dentist I highly suggest Apalachee family dental

Where do I start, well I scheduled a deep cleaning with Heather, got to my appointment which was last week Thursday and Heather had to evaluate my gum lines before she could start the deep cleaning since it was almost 3 years since I've last seen her and to get a new treatment plan pricing. I noticed that most of her measurement were 4,5, & 6 but I was wondering how did she get 6 if she wasn't poking hard at my gums like the other dentist's do to get their measurements. Then the dentist came in to "look around in my mouth" she's new, she rough and has no patience or people skills, she was poking at fillings that I've had for a few years now saying I have cavities, THEY WERE FILLED ALREADY, then she says I have a tooth that needs to come out and I ask her which tooth and why, she said I wasn't talking to you I was talking to Heather, let me finish what I'm doing, "****, it's my mouth I can ask questions, the nerve of her, that alone left a bad taste in my mouth, not to mention the treatment plan pricing they came to show me, they wanted to put antibiotics on 22 of my teeth on the treatment plan bring the price up to $630.00 per quad. I told Heather I don't need all those antibiotics, she said the dentist says I need them all, NO I don't. they are overcharging patients for what they don't need. That's why I don't like going to strip mall dentist's they are a rip-off. I wont be going back ever again. I had went to another dentist 2 months ago and they only listed 3 antibiotics per quad and they offer better options and pricing.

Not sure if staff has gotten lazy or if they got new people but I they didn't update my info after giving them my new information for my insurance and have been billing my old insurance and saying my insurance won't cover it and haven't been able to tell me why. I called to ask the office people to send me documents for my claims, never received those.

A bit bumpy in the beginning due to an online glitch and some confusion over insurance on my part. The exam and evaluation is high tech Star Wars style gadgetry. Loved it. I'm all prevention and this place has it all. The 3D scanner is awesome and ny hygienist evaluated each tooth and gum. We moved here from PA and the difference of examination went from a 3 to a 10! Friendly staff and in depth dental care. Fabulous.

They about drove me crazy with nothing but country music playing in the waiting area. I asked the staff if they could change the station instead she turned the TV on along with the music playing. One of the ladies on staff claims there's no music without inappropriate lyrics. I suggested instrumental jazz music or elevator music she said it would put them to sleep. Not willing to accomodate the patients who pays you. Today will be my daughter's last visit. I had to go sit in my car. She's playing country because that's what she likes! ACCOMODATE YOUR PATIENTS

I have the best hygienist ever! I have always had severe anxiety about going to the dentist. Within three visits, Heather has me looking forward to my appointments. Dr. Uddin, too, has a gentle and helpful way. Highly recommend.

There are so many reasons to go somewhere else. I will not enumerate those reasons because I'm absolutly exhausted from the pain of my mid-day cleaning. I will say that I began going to this dental practice in 2016 and it has gotten progressively worse. I should have left when the dentist I came here with married and moved to Carrollton, GA. Do yourself a favor and find a dental practice that cares about the comfort and well-being of their patients. Do not go here.

Shawnece and Dr. Brown are such nice people. Shawnee really went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable at every step, I appreciated her so much! I went in for a problem that Dr. Brown was able to fix immediately. The reviews are correct, I'd definitely recommend.
