Born and raised in El Paso, Dr. Solis grew up in the Lower Valley. He attended Riverside High School, El Paso Community College, and the University of Texas at El Paso. After completing his undergraduate studies, he applied to and was accepted at the prestigious University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. With his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) in hand, Dr. Solis returned to his hometown.

Through studies in restoration implant dentistry at the Misch International Implant Institute and cosmetic dentistry at the Las Vegas Institute, Dr. Solis stays current on changes in the field. He has also extensively studied orthodontics, including Invisalign clear aligners.
His post-graduate coursework in orthodontics has led Dr. Solis to recommend preventive, early orthodontic treatment for his younger patients. In many cases, this eliminates the need for extensive interventional or corrective orthodontic care in teens and young adults!
