Dr. Elmirra grew up in the East Bay where she knew she wanted to be a dentist since she was twelve! She completed her undergraduate studies at UC Davis and earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California. Dr. Elmirra was heavily involved in Community Service while she was in dental school by volunteering at various clinics that focused on providing free dental services to families without access to care. She carried this passion into her Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency with UCSF and treated underprivileged families, especially children, at Ravenswood Family Dentistry Clinic in East Palo Alto, CA.

Dr. Elmirra has been Antioch's full-time dentist since the start of the pandemic. She truly believes in treating her patients like family. With her contagious laugh and detailed treatment plan options, she strives to provide quality dental care to all individuals of the Antioch Community.

Dr. Elmirra particularly enjoys cosmetic dentistry and transforming smiles. She is an active member of the California Dental Association, Contra Costa Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and Spear Education Study Club.

Deanna has been in the dental field since 2016. She started as a Treatment Plan Coordinator and has worked her way up to Practice Manager. She enjoys helping each patient and is always there to answer any questions or concerns. Her goal is to make all aspects of insurance and financials as seamless as possible. Deanna loves getting to know all the patients of the office and hope that each and every time they have a great experience.

When not in the office, Deanna enjoys spending time with her husband, who she has been with since she was 13 years old. She also loves spending time with her friends and family. She loves being an auntie, her nieces and nephew are her world. Deanna also loves animals, especially dogs. Her hobbies include crocheting, cooking, traveling and music.

Kaitlin is our Assistant Practice Manager. She is new to the dental field but has several years of customer service experience. She always accommodates patients and is very attentive to the schedule. She chose this career because she loves to help people.

Nicole is one of our Registered Dental Hygienists in the office. She attended dental hygiene school at Chabot College in Hayward and has been loving her career since graduation in 2015. She really loves interacting with her patients and helping them achieve their best smile with as many laughs mixed in as possible!

When not in the office, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and friends and her Chihuahua Paddy. Living in Discovery Bay she enjoys spending time outdoors enjoying the sunshine. She and her boyfriend Brian love traveling whenever and wherever possible, enjoying all the food and sights they can.

Debbie is a Registered Dental Hygienist that has been practicing for 41 years and has worked in this office for 26 of those. She began her education at Chabot College in Hayward and finished with a Bachelors Degree from Idaho State University in 1980. Since graduation she has been active in the California Dental Hygiene Association on both a local and state level. Over the years the relationship with her patients has become just as important as their teeth are. She wants each patient to feel welcome, relaxed and she treats them as if they were family... all while trying to help them achieve the best dental health possible.

When she is not working, Debbie loves spending the time with her family and friends. She enjoys going to the ocean, the mountains and even wine tasting whenever possible. She has been with her high school sweetheart for over 20 years now and watching baseball, football, as well as basketball is one of their favorite things to do together. Her son is grown and she has no grandchildren yet but very hopeful it will happen one day!

Outside of the office, Nancy's family is her whole world. Her grown daughter, son, and their beautiful families; including 4 grandchildren. She is always very busy with activities she so enjoys! Along with her love of gardening she got from her mom, she also enjoys small home projects. If only she could do plumbing and electrical!

I have been a patient of Dr Burk since I grew my first set of teeth! My entire family has been going to him for decades. I could go somewhere else (i.e. close to home or work) but I know I can trust Dr Burk and his ladies so I won't go anywhere else. - Kat A.
