Positive experience. The office staff, the tech and the Dr., professional and very kind. Explained the procedure in words I understood. During the procedure, making sure I was comfortable. I appreciated the call the next day checking on me to see how I was doing. Thanks So Much

The reason for one star is that the only good thing was the surgery went well. The bad started when I made the appointment for my oral surgery. I had called a few days after making my appointment to make sure they put in the right day and time. They mostly had, but put someone else's name with my data. After the surgery I vomited 5 times, the first time was before I left the building, and I was only given 2 gauze (one for each side of my mouth). Then I got the bill, at this office they have you pay right before surgery. The time on the receipt was 9:07am, and the time the oral surgeon put for the anesthesia start time was 9am. I couldn't have been given anesthesia till at least 9:11am. The end time was also wrong and I had a paper and phone log to prove it, but the oral surgeon office denied that they were committing fraud and would end the conversation whenever confronted. Monica, the office's insurance handler, said that it did not matter if the anesthesia log was off by 15 minutes when in fact anesthesia is billed by 15 minute increments. This was not the only time she had lied to me, she told me there was a machine that kept record of how much anesthesia is given, but the machine does not. After 6 months of arguing and reporting them to multiple organizations, they finally paid me back for the fraudulent unit of anesthesia. Then my insurance said that the oral surgeon office was to give me another refund. This was 8 Months after I got the bill, and the first time Dr. Choukas took time to explain things to me. I asked him for my treatment records and he didn't give me everything. There was no anesthesia log and there was only support for 2 less units of anesthesia than he billed me according to the EKG, which recorded the time inaccurately. He said he mailed the check that should have taken four days, but I waited 2 weeks and the check never came. I finally told them I'd come in to pick up a copy when the next day the check magically appeared. Their reason being, the stamp fell off and the mail carrer just returned it. When I went in to pick it up, it was in a plain envelope. Do not trust this office!

Don't count on actually being scheduled when they say they get you in. Drove an hour to be told we're not on the schedule...
