Dr. Scaramuzzo attended New York University College of Dentistry in Manhattan. While there, Anthony gained skills treating patients of all diversities and backgrounds. While attending school, he met his future wife Anne, a musical theatre actress, and they got married his senior year. After graduation, they said farewell to city life and moved to Raleigh, where Anne grew up. They now have 2 sweet girls- Lucy age 7, and Mary Rose age 5.
In his free time he enjoys deep sea fishing at Atlantic Beach, and recently learned to fly fish along the river in the Blue Ridge Mountains. He home brews craft beer, and loves to light up the smoker on the weekends to make pulled pork for his family.
He strongly believes in supporting the community! You will find him sponsoring local events with schools such as Leesville, Athens Drive and Jeffrey's Grove. He is a parioshoner at St Francis of Assisi of Raleigh, just down the road from his office.
Dr. Scaramuzzo has worked for large dental practices in Angier, Roseboro, Cary and Greenville since 2012. He worked along side former owner, Dr. Thomas V. Kelly for one year, getting to know the patients and learning the business side of owning a practice. Dr. Kelly handed over the reins in April of 2016. Now the full time owner, he is looking forward to being able to really get to know his patients and give them his best care. He is a member of the North Carolina Dental Society and American Dental Society.
Julie was raised in New Hampshire and moved here with her family. She enjoys the empty nest now that her two children have grown, Additionally, Julie is an avid New England Patriots fan! Julie has been with the practice since 2004.
Melissa is our practice manager after 22 years of dental assisting with our practice. She is thrilled to be in her new role as practice manager. She was raised in coastal Virginia and was educated in Petersburg. She and her husband have two children who keep them busy with their school and social schedules. She enjoys sports, especially women's basketball. Melissa has been with the practice since 1999.
Theenda is a new addition to our team as of March 2021! She is a native of Wilmington, Delaware, but has made Stanford her home. As a DAII she brings 30+ years experience and she has a true PASSION for dentistry. She has been married to her husband LeVerne for 26 years and they have 3 children that attend NCSU- Ce'Vaun, Samiya and Kristian. She enjoys spending time with family and her granddog!

I've been going to this office for 30 years. After Dr Kelly retired, I continue to see Dr Scaramuzzo. I have been very pleased with the service. The previous reviewer that gave him a one star rating did so unfairly. She should have known what out of network coverage means. She knew this before the treatment and could/should have asked for pricing.

My previous dentist closed his business due to the serious illness. Therefore, I went to see this clinical for general cleaning. I know the new dentist is not in my insurance network, but I didn't realize what the exactly means it is not in network till I received the insurance reimbursement. I scheduled a general cleaning service. The service I received was not much different from the general cleaning I received before, however, the money charged was much more, even worse, the insurance didn't cover at all. I think the dentist should let patients know what kinds of service patients will receive and how much will cost them to pay before the service. This place is only good for rich people.

Great dentist!!! Got me in right away and fixed my broken tooth. Dr. Scaramuzzo really took the time to explain everything and his staff is very professional. He really is a gental dentist!!!

Wonderful experience. I was having some sensitivity pain from cold food and Dr. S and his assistants took care of everything quite fast. Everything went well and he was very conscientious about whether I was in any pain. Will definitely make him my regular dentist.
