Dr. Polimeni received his doctorate in Dental Medicine fromTufts University School of Dental Medicinein Boston. After a one-year residency in Advanced General Dentistry at theUniversity of Pennsylvania, he received his specialty training and certification to practice the specialty of periodontics fromTemple Universityin Philadelphia. He is a graduate of the prestigiousMisch Implant Instituteat theUniversity of Pittsburghcompleting advanced course study in bone augmentation and dental implant surgery.

Dr. Polimeni is a former assistant clinical professor in theDepartment of Implant Dentistry of New York University, and a visiting professor in their Department of Periodontics. He lectures both locally and nationally on topics related to both periodontics and dental implants. His Quarterly Newsletter contains up-to-date news and information regarding periodontics and dental implants.

Dr. Polimeni has been practicing periodontics and dental implantology since 1990, and enjoys making a difference in his patients' appearance and lifestyle. He always makes a sincere effort to get to know every one of his patients in a personal way. Patient interaction and making people feel comfortable and part of the family is of utmost importance to him.

Dr. Anthony Polimeni is originally from East Northport, and has lived in East Setauket for the past 15 years. He and his lovely wife, Tracey, have two grown daughters named Nicole and Janlyn. Dr. Polimeni is an avid automotive enthusiast in his spare time, and is also the drummer for The John Fogerty Tribute Project, Long Islands tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival!

At home, I live with my two sons, Robert and Ryan, and our dog, Barkley! I love to watch the Yankees, go to the beautiful Long Island beaches, take Barkley on long walks, shop and garden, have lunch with friends and spend time with my sons.

As a dental hygienist, I help with dental and periodontal cleanings, adjunctive periodontal therapy, administering local anesthetic and nitrous oxide, providing oral hygiene instruction and education to patients. I love getting to know our patients and sharing life's stories and experiences with them. Dr. Polimeni is wonderful to work with because he is a great communicator with a wonderful sense of humor. He genuinely cares about his patients and his staff, and I feel fortunate to be part of this team.

Welcome! I work here as a dental assistant, and my duties include greeting and seating patients, taking X-rays, and acting as a chairside surgical assistant for Dr. Polimeni. I have been working here since 1990, and truly love this team. We always work hard to make each visit for our patients relaxing and efficient. We have great patients who appreciate our work, and that always makes us feel good!

My dear husband, Anthony, and I have two daughters named Nicole and Jessica, and our son is Anthony, Jr. I love to spend time with my family, have Sunday dinners, go to restaurants, movies and meeting up with friends. I especially love being a Mom!

Hello, it's nice to meet you! I am a dental assistant, and I help out with everything from instrument sterilization to taking X-rays and being a chairside surgical assistant. My favorite part of my job is Interacting with our patients and making sure things run smoothly. It is also wonderful to work with such a professional doctor who is both competent and gentle. Dr. Polimeni has a great sense of humor and our office is first class!

I am married to Harry, and we have a daughter, Erin, a son-in-law, John, and a son, Thomas. I love family dinners, spending time with friends, spin classes, running and watching 'The Real Housewives' with a glass of wine.
