Dr. Bacchi graduated from New York University College of Dentistry. He completed a two-year residency program at Nassau University Medical Center, working closely with specialists in all fields of dentistry. He completed an externship at Brookdale Hospital with instruction from one of the pioneers of implant dentistry. He completed an extensive post-graduate implant program at NYU College of Dentistry. He has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education with special attention to family, cosmetic & implant dentistry. Dr. Bacchi is proficient in all phases of dentistry and routinely treats children and adults of all ages. He hasprovided exceptional care in private practice since 1997. Hewas department head and attending dentist atNassau Health CorpExtended Care Facility for 13 years. Dr. Bacchi has had his research published in the Journal of Clinical Dentistry. He is a member of many societiesincludingthe American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, Nassau County Dental Society, New York State Dental Association and the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Bacchi offers all phases of dentistry in a caring and relaxed atmosphere. Dr. Krivca graduated from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and completed a residency program at North Shore-LIJ Medical Center. Dr. Krivca provideddental servicesto hundreds of Malagasy children and adultswith TheDental Outreach Mission to Madagascarin 2014. She also worked alongside Medical Volunteer Corps in 2013, providing medical and dental services to hundreds of underserved patientsduring the Dental Outreach Mission to Tennessee.The ADA awarded herwiththe International Volunteer Service Award.Dr. Krivcacontinues to participate with Give Kids a Smile Day, a program sponsored by the American Dental Association,where she provides dental screenings and preventative therapy toLong Island'skids in need of dental care.Dr. Krivca maintains membershipwith many professional associations including the American Dental Association, The Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry,NYS Dental Association and Nassau County Dental Society.
Dr. Ahrenstein graduated from NYU College of Dentistry and completed ageneral practice dental residency at Hackensack University MedicalCenter. Her distinction and awards include Omicron Kappa Upsilonmembership and the Thomas W. Smith Fellowship Award. She received honorsin oral medicine and pathology. She is a member of the Academy ofGeneral Dentistry, American Dental Association, Academy of GeneralDentistry, Nassau County Dental Society and NY State Dental Association.

Dr. Rizzo graduated from Boston University School of Dental Medicine and completed a residency program at Winthrop University Hospital. She completed a 10-week externship in Massachusetts working closely with dental specialists in diagnosing and treating patients in the areas of family & cosmetic dentistry, pediatrics, endodontics, periodontics, and prosthodontics. Dr. Rizzo was nominated and has held positions as both Vice President and President of the Student National Dental Association where she organized events and patient education programs to help underprivileged children and medically compromised patients. Dr. Rizzo is a certified Invisalign provider. She is a member of the American Dental Association, NYS Dental Association, and Nassau County Dental Society.

Dr Bacchi has been my dentist for over 10 years. Dr Krivca and Dr Ahrenstein have joined the team. All are very knowledgeable and professional. I feel comfortable with these experienced and gentle dentists. They take time to answer any questions I might have and I trust their expert detailed explanations. The whole staff is friendly and helpful. I always feel comfortable and confident in their care.

Excellent patient care! Kathy at the front desk is so nice and goes above and beyond to help with any questions and concerns you may have. All of the doctors and hygienists and assistants here are wonderful and so friendly. They really take their time and pay attention to detail in their work, whether that be with hygiene or any other dental work. Totally recommend 100%!

I've had the good fortune of having Dr Bacchi as my dentist for 25 plus years and honestly couldn't imagine going to another dentist..Dr Bacchi has taken amazing care of my entire family for many years! His work is consistently outstanding, never to disappoint, as well as his kindness and patience every step of the way..

Everyone here is great! The doctors, all the hygienist, assistants and front desk. You are always seen on time, everybody is very compassionate and very genuinely concerned for your dental health and concerns. This office is definitely the green light when it comes to any dental phobic person --they treat you like family here !

They will not turn you away if they don't take your insurance. Kathy will tell you that they take it, but with that, she doesn't mean that you'll be covered. They will "take" it and be kind enough to submit a claim on your behalf (Yes she told me this after the fact) even if they know you won't be covered. I made it clear to her that I don't have dental that covers procedures like a crown and post, so I paid out of pocket. I didn't even hand my insurance information for that. No problem. My Blue Cross Blue Shield covers two cleanings and a set of X-rays per calendar year. Kathy said, we take it, we take Blue Cross PPO, handed her my card and made cleaning appointments for my family. My daughter needed two filings which I would pay out of pocket, I understand. She did that and got xrays and her cleaning as well. She had just turned 19 and went herself. Her bill was $480 and she charged it on her debit card. She thought that was for the filings. We only found out afterwards after my husband and I got bills for our cleaning services that her cleaning and X-rays weren't covered and neither were ours. My husband paid a discounted price because Kathy said to him "Your wife knows the cleanings aren't covered, she already paid for your daughter's cleaning and X-rays". No! My daughter thought she was paying for her fillings. She knows we have insurance for cleanings and x-rays. We spoke to Kathy and she had a wise-guy attitude conflicting what she was saying that she had told us. She told me and my husband, on two separate occasions that she takes our insurance because he called separately to make his appointment. She kept telling me I need to know what my insurance covers and they take BCBS PPO and I kept telling her yes I've had it for over 20 years I know what coverage I have. She needs to know which insurance her office takes and which it does not. I showed her my card in person and she said they take it. I have a PPO plan and I made it clear that its not a separate dental plan. I told her it's my medical card which covers two cleanings and one set of x-rays per year. We've spent too much time on the phone with her and she's not admitting that she lied to us or made a mistake. But to blame us, is inexcusable. She was condescending and had a bully-like attitude. Telling me "I don't know what's going on with you and your regular dentist". I made it clear to her that my regular dentist does not do crowns and fillings, that's why we were there in the first place, and since Kathy said she takes my insurance, why not have our cleanings done there too. I was able to get quick appointments. Dr. Tatsiana and the hygienist were very good.

Dr. Bacchi did my bonding. I was quoted a different price from the consultation. It broke a couple weeks after and he fixed it free of charge. However, he said if it happens again he will charge me. It chipped again but I think its his workmanship. Dental work is very expensive.

Dr. Bacchi mistreated me in all ways! The work that was done was not good . In addition he overbilled me and my insurance company for unnecessary procedures. Steer clear of this dentist and his staff. Completely unprofessional, inappropriate and incompetent!

From the moment you walk in you are greeted by Kathy and feel welcome. Everything is explained to you. The appointment started on time. The dental hygienist Crystal was friendly and gave me a great cleaning with no pain. Dr Ahrenstein filled a cavity fir me. Her Asst Joanna was great. Had an appointment for teeth cleaning and consult. The place was very clean and the room I was in was welcoming, I was nervous Bc I don't like the dentist but the person who cleaned my teeth was so kind. She played soothing music while doing my X-rays. The doctor checked all my teeth, was very clear about what I'll need to get done next. They're great about making payments in installments as well. Glad I found them!

Wonderful experience from my first call to make a new patient appointment all the way to seeing Dr Bacchi. Receptionist is extremely friendly and helpful. Crystal, the hygienist I saw, was so caring and would check in often to see how I was doing during the cleaning. She is very smart and efficient. The wait to see Dr Bacchi was so minimal and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. Very pleasant experience and would definitely recommend! I already am telling my other family members to switch to this practice!

My second review in 6 months. Still 5 stars and this time I am leaving a review to say I have really overcome a fear I've always had. My lovely amazing dentist, Dr. Miranda K. alerted me of such wonderful news at my last appointment (she's having a baby!). After all the happy congratulations she told me she can no longer use nitrous on me because of being with child. She told me of course if I wanted it another dentist could take over but I trust and adore her so much I was comfortable enough with ZERO ANXIETY for the first time ever. I'd never want another dentist to work on my mouth and I was a big girl because now I don't need gas anymore. This place is literally life changing, thank you for everything.
