My name is Dr. Anthony J Adams. I was raised in the Clearwater/Dunedin Community. I married my high school sweetheart 54 years ago and am lucky to have done so. I treasure every day we have together. We were blessed with 3 sons and now have one granddaughter and four grandsons. Of course, my grandchildren are the most beautiful, well-behaved, intelligent kids on the planet (but Im sure yours are too). With a life-time interest in the mind-body connection, I was destined to have a career in health care. Im grateful to have had the following training and education: St. Petersburg Jr. College, University of Florida, University of South Florida, University of Maryland School of Dentistry, plus countless hours of dental courses over the years. I am devoted to continuing education to the benefit of my patients. By taking a more natural, less invasive approach to your care, I can minimize the use of pharmaceutical drugs, surgery and other potentially toxic applications. Kayanna S Beckmann DMD My name is Dr. Kayanna Beckmann and I am proud to be a dentist here at Healthy Body Dental. I was drawn to dentistry at a young age, having to go through many years of orthodontics and oral surgery to straighten my teeth. I have pursued the medical field with an appreciation for the connection of oral health to the overall health of the body. I completed my Bachelors in Molecular Biology and Microbiology in 2009 (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Central Florida. I worked full time throughout my Bachelors at a level-one trauma center and obtained the highest training as a pharmacy technician. This pharmacy knowledge has proven invaluable throughout my dental career. In 2014 I attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry graduating with high honors (OKU-Magna Cum Laude) finishing fourth in my class. I furthered my education in nutrition becoming a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner and wellness coach. I also received my Mastership in Aesthetic Laser Training from the Advanced Laser Institute. My name is Tink Adams. I have worked alongside Dr. Anthony Adams (aka Tony) in many different positions: receptionist, event planner, office coordinator, gofer and partner. Being partner with my husband Tony is the position I am most proud. I was born in Clearwater and went to school in Dunedin. Tony and I met in high school, and we were married in 1967. While Tony was serving in the US Army in Germany, I worked at American Express Bank in Munich. I had the opportunity to travel extensively all over Europe. We returned home to Dunedin in 1970. Shortly after, Tony was accepted to the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore. Two months before we moved to Baltimore, we had our first son. While in Baltimore, I worked for an orthodontist as a certified dental assistant. After Tonys graduation from dental school, we were stationed in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. Tony served as a dentist for the 101st Airborne and we were blessed with two more sons. After six years in Kentucky, we moved back to Clearwater where we opened our dental practice. I enjoy working together to create our caring and competent atmosphere. Patients not only feel comfortable, but know they are getting excellent dental care. I retired from working full time last year and enjoy keeping up with our five grandchildren.
My name is Jennifer Noguez and I am the Office Manager. I have had the privilege and pleasure to work with this practice for the past 28 years. I moved here from Queens, New York in 1991 and started working with Dr. Adams in 1994. I started as a sterilization tech as I awaited my certification as a chairside dental assistant. With the encouragement of Dr Adams, I furthered my education and career goals and became a dental hygienist. I graduated from St. Pete College Hygiene Program in 2005. I am grateful everyday I get to come to this office and be surrounded with positive, hard working, and talented people who care about others. I am also blessed that after 28 years the patients and staff are more like my extended family.
Colleen My name is Colleen Fraker and I am the Hygienist. I began my career in Dentistry in 1982 in Orthodontics. I spent the next 18 years expanding my knowledge of occlusion, parafunctional habits, obstructed airways, and reconstruction due to trauma and/or head and neck deformities. In 2000, I graduated with my degree in Dental Hygiene. I have been active in teaching our Special Needs community about the importance of brushing and flossing. I have had the pleasure of being a guest speaker at group homes, and center schools to not only demonstrate good oral hygiene, but to spark enthusiasm about oral care. My passion is not only in healthy mouths, but also in nutrition. This life-long learning journey is ever evolving. A little peek into my personal life, I grew up on a local farm and showed horses competitively all over the Southeastern United States.
My name is Iliana Babadjanova and I am the lead assistant. I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Adams for going on 20 years. I attended Dental Assistant School, and graduated in 2003 with Honors being awarded Best Student of the Year. I was fortunate to have my internship assigned to Dr. Adams dental practice and the rest is history. Upon completion, he offered for me to join his team and I have been a part of Healthy Body Dental ever since. My lifelong beliefs in a holistic lifestyle are right in line with our office vision. Under the doctors guidance and passion for learning, I was privileged to attend numerous seminars, workshops and trainings. This has kept me current with the latest methods and advancements in Dentistry including laser dentistry. As dental assistant, my personal goal is to set a welcoming and friendly atmosphere where every patient feels relaxed and well cared for. As an interesting deviation from my career in Dentistry, I was a professional ballerina. I danced with the Sofia National Opera and Ballet Company in my native country Bulgaria and still teach to this day. I am fluent in Bulgarian and English and understand Serbian and Russian.
My name is Esteban Garcia and I work as a chair-side assistant. I graduated as a dentist from the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) in 2004. I then completed advanced studies in oral surgery in 2009. For almost 15 years, I maintained a group private practice in Caracas, Venezuela (my hometown). In February of 2018, I made the decision to relocate to the United States for a better life for my family. I have continued my career in dentistry as a dental assistant in the Tampa Bay area for the last four years. I grew up in a family of musicians and love to play the trumpet. I enjoy playing music in local bands since I used to play with my family in Venezuela. I am fluent in Spanish and English.
My name is Deanna Devignez and I am the administrative assistant. I moved to Dunedin, Florida from Brookfield, Connecticut in June of 1979. I began my career in the medical field by volunteering at Mease Hospital in Dunedin. I worked for 33 years at Bay Area Oral and Facial Surgery as an administrative assistant. I retired from that clinic in March of 2017. After six months at home, I decided to work weekends at Ace Hardware, however I still had a passion for dentistry. I started working for Dr. Adams in March of 2020. I am the mother of four children and grandmother to six. In my spare time, I like to make jewelry and spend time with my cat, Chase.
I want to take this time and say thank you to an amazing dentist and his staff. I became a new patient of Dr. Adams when our old dentist retired. They reached out to us to let us know that he forward our file to Dr. Adams office. My husband visited Dr. Adams office first. He came home talking about how wonderful his staff was and how Dr. Adams took time to explain everything to him in detail of what needed to be done and the cost. Dr. Adams took the time to chat and get to know you on a personal level, not just another patient.
I am one that dont really like going to the dentist but it was time for my cleaning. I told them how sensitive my teeth are and I dont do pain. He said he could work with that to make me feel comfortable and that he did. I didnt have any problems whatsoever. He was very honest and up front with me about the dental work needed to be done on my teeth. He didnt try to fix what wasnt broken to make money. As a matter of fact he said that everything was good I just need a few things done.
Im grateful to my mom for finding your billboard in the mall and even more grateful for all of your restoring my confidence in dentistry. I still have fear of procedures but my experience with your office made my ordeal really pleasant. That is saying a lot, coming from a true chicken. See you in January.
To tell the truth I was a little apprehensive about going to a new dentist, but from the time I walked thru the door I was impressed! The friendliness & efficiently of everyone was refreshing. I have been to several dentists and have had extensive work done on my teeth, but this was the 1st time I have not felt any pain. Thank you I have recommended several friends and family and I expect them to have the same friendly and caring experience I have had.
I came to Dr. Adams office for a second opinion. My first impression was that he listened to what I hoped could be accomplished. He explained what I could expect from him and his staff. I was hesitant at first but there was something sincere in Dr. Adams manner that helped me make my decision. I was very impressed with Dr. Adams and his staff. I am so pleased I decided to have Dr. Adams as my dentist. My teeth have never looked as good. I highly recommend Dr. Adams
I just wanted to thank you for taking such good care of Beth and I. As I am and sure you may know, we will not even consider a dental plan that doesnt allow us to use your office. Your staff is very professional and they are enjoyable to be around. What a great crew you have. I also wanted to remind you of the date we selected to go do some fishing. I have already spoke with my father and Saturday , November 13th is good for him to. I will contact you a couple days prior to see if this is still a good day for you. If the weather is good to us, I am pretty sure we will bring home some fish. Possibly even some Kings! Looking forward to getting out.

I only went once and never went back. First off I came in because I had lost a filling on my lower canine. This was my first visit and they took single X-ray's of every tooth in my mouth and when the Dr came in and looked at my tooth saying it would be a simple procedure and gave me a shot. I sat in that chair over an hour waiting for him to return my back and butt were getting sore. When he did finally return he had to give me another shot and another and then tried to sell me a water purifier device, that's the total truth. In Clearwater next to Chucky Cheese. I paid for the filling and left after about three hours and that tooth keep me awake for two weeks with pain, I think he had drilled into the core, he did say " your going to need a root canal done on that tooth pretty soon. I called them and told them about the pained they told me to come back in. I thought about that but no I wasn't born yesterday...I smelled a root canal from him, to thank you. genebob is just an email name my name in your records is harold gene brock

Truly the best!!! He is one of the few dentists that understand the connection of a healthy mouth to a healthy body. Also, he and his team are UNBELIEVABLY caring and gentle. I have been terrified of going to the dentist for years, but that is all changed, thanks to Dr. Adams! He works to do things with minimal invasion and works to preserve the teeth instead of being quick to suggest pulling a tooth or doing root canals. More and more research is showing the connection between all kinds of health issues including heart issues and dementia are connected to bacteria in the mouth from gum disease amd underlying infections. I am so happy to have found Dr. Adams! Thank you!

THEY JUST DON'T MAKE 'EM LIKE THIS ANYMORE: I have never been excited to go to the dentist until now. I had a few major procedures with zero pain and minimal invasiveness to fix the issues. Dr. Adams and his staff are not only professionals on the cutting edge of technology in dentistry, but they are also genuinely compassionate holistic medicine practitioners. It is so refreshing to have my dentist office be a place I look forward to going to. I drive 3 hours to go to Dr. Adams and I wouldn't go to anyone else. I feel so lucky he is in Florida and close enough to get to. Go for your consultation and you will see what I mean.

My former dentist closed his practice over a year ago and he referred me to Dr. Adams office from the very first day that I walked into his office I felt very welcomed his staff along with his wife is awesome they all great you with a smile they make you feel that you are very special,I look forward to my visits because I know with a doubt that they care about you, Dr. Adams care about his patients he takes time with you he is very compassion with you.After you have had a procedure done he will call you later that day to see how you are feeling all the years that I went to my former dentist he never called to see how I was doing so by Dr.Adams calling later to see how you are doing that tells me how concerned he is for his patient's You couldn't ask for a better dentist than Dr.Adams he is the best along with his wonderful staff I thank God for my former dentist recommended me to him. If you are looking for an awesome dentist look no further.

I was lucky to find Dr. Adams. The best experience I had in a dental office. - his priority is to save your tooth if there is any chance - he explains and answers all you questions - he takes all precautions to remove your amalgams - he is able to identify the health status of those hard reachable teeth that X-Rays can't pick up and show it to you - he has a great team and the best financial assistant: whose name is Jennifer. She will take care of your claims and you will get max out of your dental insurance. I could not be more happier with the dental service they provided. Too bad I moved out to another state and have to find another dentist.

I've been going to Dr. Adams for nine years now, and I couldn't be more pleased with Dr. Adams and his staff. He's a great dentist and a wonderful, kind and caring man. He makes every visit about you and your comfort. All of his staff are courteous, kind, and professional, especially his wife, Tink. Maggie , his assistant, is a new addition to his staff, and she, too, makes you feel so comfortable and treats you like family. I will highly recommend Dr. Adams to everyone I know.

I have been a patient of Dr. Adams for almost 2 years. I have never been one to like going to the dentist but Dr. Adams is a wonderful dentist. Lisa is my hygienist and she definitely makes going for cleanings relaxing! Jennifer and Tink are always helpful with anything that I need. Dr. Adams is amazing. His staff is attentive, kind, knowledgeable, and most importantly everyone in the office actually cares about the patient. This dentist has a calm, beautiful, clean office. The dental equipment is superior and state of the art. If you read about this dentist and his approach to dentistry it is clear that when choosing a dentist this should be the dentist for you. I have never not had a call returned. I've never waited in the office for lengthy amounts of time and everyone on the staff is amazing at what they do. I would not look any further if your searching for a dentist!

My friend was researching holistic dentists in the Clearwater area and found Dr. Adams information. As soon as I walked into the office, I knew I was in a good place. The energy felt so inviting. Jennifer, the receptionist, was more then patient and helpful in answering my questions. I was able to get an appointment for the following week. My introductory visit with Dr. Adams only affirmed what I had concluded as to having found the right dentist for me. He took a good half hour asking me about myself and sharing some of his history. It's so wonderful to have a doctor who is a human being first and secondly a skilled clinician! In meeting the rest of the staff: Maggie, Illiana and Tink I became continually delighted with the impressive, skillful and compassionate staff Dr. Adams has chosen. My first appointment was yesterday. It involved some in-depth work. At all times I felt comfortable and trusting as Dr. Adams kept me informed through out the process and even made a follow up phone call that evening. I am so impressed and grateful to have found Dr. Adams for my dentist! I'm confident you will concur.

How refreshing - to find a doctor in today's fast paced, pharmaceutical driven world that truly cares and is more far more knowledgeable than the majority of his peers that blindly follow the dogma of allopathic medicine. Dr. Anthony Adams takes the time to learn about the patient - listening and asking questions before diagnosing and/or determining treatment based on the person as a whole. He takes advantage of both conventional and holistic forms of treatment. His office and staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. A rare find in today's world. It has been some time since I had my dental cleaning. Beth one of Dr. Adams hygienist was wonderful. Took the time to explain my problem spots, was patient answering all my questions. Lisa has always been my hygienist and I must admit I was a little scared to go to anyone else.
