Dr. Anthony Indovina graduated the LSU Oral Maxillofacial Program in 1977. In the summer of 1974 while working on the railroad with his father, he suffered a traumatic facial injury. The subsequent months he spent in the care of oral surgeons trying to reconstruct his mouth and face, was the catalyst for the change in his career path. Oral surgery is truly his calling. He is sympathetic to his patients because he has been in their position. For 36 years he has practiced with the same level of concern and professionalism. His desire to give back brought him to LSU where he has been a Clinical Associate Professor since 1978. Dr. Indovina has received many awards and accolades in his 36 year tenure but none as rewarding as the smiles and thank yous he receives from from one of his patients. Dr. Indovina is a native of New Orleans. He resides in Metairie with his wife, April, and their daughter, Sophia. He has a son, Anthony A. Indovina, Jr., who is also an Oral Surgeon in Minnesota.
Dr. St. John completed his undergraduate education at the University of Pittsburgh prior to attending Harvard School of Dental Medicine. After graduating dental school in 2001, Dr. St. John entered residency at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. In 2007 he completed the requirements for his medical degree, an internship in General Surgery, and the demands of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency.
Upon completion of training, Dr. St. John was commissioned to active duty in the United States Army and deployed to combat operations in Iraq. During this time, he also served as Assistant Program Director for the OMS residency training program at William Beaumont Army Medical Center at Fort Bliss.

*PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS SHADY BUSINESS!!!!!* I wish i could give them a -10. Terry is the worst receptionist that i've ever met and a disgrace to that business. They wanted to take out 4 wisdom teeth without even meeting me. I have proof from my dentist that Terry hadn't contacted me in months. I had to call him after several months to see why they hadn't called. He set my appointment for several weeks and I happened to be in the hospital with covid related pneumonia. when I explained this he said suddenly there's a 2 missed appt dropping of clients which was never said untol today. He said i still shouuld have called from the hospital. i'm emailing a full discription of terry and Dr. indovina''s unethical practices. Terry hung up in my face after i questioned how was I notified about scheduling. If Terry can blatanly show off behind the telephone, then I'm sure the surgeon is aware of it. DON'T GO THERE!!!

Dr. Indovina was a very kind and knowledgeable man. He made the experience comfortable and took us as a last minute walk-in. His staff were very nice and helped us with all of our questions. I highly recommend him. He for sure accepts Medicaid (UnitedHealth) as insurance.

Dr. Indovina is the oral surgeon you want. Very experienced with excellent results. Great bedside manner. The staff is amazing too. If you need oral surgery and want the best care this is where you need to go.

The receptionist needs better training. We all have bad days, but that does not give you the excuse to be rude and inconsiderate. I just called this office inquiring about new patient wisdom teeth removal because I am in serious pain. I could barley get the sentence out before the receptionist interrupted me huffing and puffing that they're not accepting new patients until March. I said, ok thank you I'll call elsewhere. Gave me an "uh huh" and hung up the phone. First impressions are everything...

Let me say the staff are amazing very friendly and helpful the place is very warmth,calming and relaxing the doctor his self is amazing very patient and understanding he works fast and gets the job done,when I thought he was just checking out my mouth and about to start he was already done I was out of there within a blink of an eye

I had a catastrophic injury that effected my front teeth at age 5. I was referred to this draconic surgeon. I screamed so loud during the surgery he covered my injured mouth, mid surgery, while I was choking on my own blood. I felt like I was choking to death. Meanwhile Dr. Indovina was chastising me for scaring his other patients. Use absolutely anyone else.

Had four wisdom teeth pulled. The staff went out of their way to help me when I forgot to bring a piece of paperwork. Dr. St. John was great. Super knowledgeable and friendly. I definitely recommend them.

The online forms really helped cut back on the paperwork and the time in the waiting room filling out forms. I would highly recommend anyone.

Stacy or Tracy or whatever, the lady who answers the phone is one of the rudest human beings I've ever had the displeasure of knowing. She basically tried to get me to call my insurance company and do her job for her. There are a few really nice women who are staffed there but unfortunately, Stacy ruins it for everybody. Had multiple impacted wisdom teeth removed. The only positive is that I didn't die in the chair. Long recovery, and very under medicated. I returned once to be misdiagnosed and again given 10 of the lowest MG pills to deal with the 4 holes in my mouth. I ended up going to my regular dentists who reluctantly fixed their errors and gave me the appropriate dose of medication to ease my pain. I RECOMMEND THIS ORAL SURGEON TO NO ONE!

I was very nervous & my anxiety flared up when i got there. As soon as he started numbing me up he was calming me down, left out the room for the numbness to kick in. Came back in 15 minutes later & started the procedure to pull all 4 of my wisdoms "2 were impacted so bad". I didn't even know he pulled them out. I wasn't in any sort of pain later that night & the next day. He definitely gave me the best experience and the procedure took maybe about 20 minutes at the most. I highly recommend him to anyone!
