Anson Family Dentistry (AFD) is a family dental practice dedicated to providing you and your family A Better Dental Experience. AFD is focused on bringing the highest level of service and comfort for every member of your family. Dr. Olcese has been practicing in the community for years and is proud to be back with a team of topnotch General Dentists. In addition, we also have Pediatric Specialists that work exclusively with children. Pediatric Dentists have an additional two to three years of training to deal with behavioral challenges and patients with special needs. We also offer sedation dentistry for patients with dental anxiety. We offer detailed treatment plans to suit each specific dental need.

Dr. Edward Olcese grew up on the West Coast of the United States in Torrance, CA (Southern California). He attended undergrad at Justo Sierra Dental School in Mexico City, Mexico and went on to complete his Doctorate at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry.
Dr. Olcese or Dr. O has been in practice for 9 years. He has been serving the Anson Community and surrounding areas for over 5 years now! As a Dentist his main goal is to give patients back the ability to smile with confidence. When working with his patients he wants to establish a long term, collaborative, and trusting relationship. His friendly personality and gentle approach speaks volumes as a local dentist.
When not in the Dental Office he enjoys spending time with his wife, Angela, and adorable twins, Oliver and Olivia. Family time is very important to him! He also has a passion for woodworking and tinkering with electronics.
A native of Colorado, Dr. Thome graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2001. After seven years as a successful general dentist in Kansas City, MO, Dr. Thome decided to pursue his true passion for childrens dentistry. He completed his pediatric dental residency at Nova Southeastern University and treated many patients at the renowned Joe DiMaggio Childrens Hospital.

My experience at Anson Family & Pediatric Dentistry was better than expected. The front office staff was very inviting and informative. The dental technicians and doctor showed great listening skills, gentleness, and concern for me. I highly recommend that you give them a try. It also helps that we are supporting a much needed business in the area. Great job AFPD.

Everyone is amazing there!!! We had to wait a bit but they were low staffed today. My daughter love's going here!!!! I'm glad we found a great dentist to go to. We live in Richmond County but we don't mind driving here it's worth it!! I highly recommend this dentist office.

Office staff is not professional at all, had appointments for 3 of my children made there, after weeks of said appointments being made they refused to see one of my children on the day of their appointment due to needing a clearance letter from my sons heart cardiologist to have his teeth cleaned this was on June 17th. Few days later a staff member called to ask for the fax number to my sons cardiologist I don't have the fax number I provided them with the name of the place he goes to the lady got rude and stated I needed to contact my sons dr and get the fax number it's not their place to contact the dr to get the needed info. July 7th I called to see if they had gotten the clearance letter so my son can get his teeth cleaned since I myself reached out to his dr due to the dentist office refusing too and I spoke with the same rude office staff member and was told again it's not their place to contact my sons dr it's my place to provide them with the drs fax number that it's that simple. I'm a mother of 7 kids and now I have to find a new dentist that can see All of my children all bc people can't do their jobs, it's not my job to provide a fax number just so you can fax a piece of paper. How many people walk around knowing the fax numbers to the drs?!?

Dr O is the best! I travel over an hour to see him for his superb dentistry. I had dental work from two other dentists that he fixed and now my teeth look and feel great!!

The staff is friendly but professional, and they were very punctual, getting me in a room and seen within five minutes of my appointment time. I would definitely recommend Anson Family and Pediatric for anyone who needs good dental care.

Very high quality service you just couldn't ask for a more friendly staff the hygienist are very gentle professional and very pretty. There isn't anything negitive to say about Doctor Olcese, he is very professional and I would rate him a ten when it comes to patient care and his work I have been going to him for several years and haven't had any complaints so I highly recommend Anson Pediatric Dental OfficeAnd
