Dr. Henry Hsue has been with our office since the very beginning. He grew up in California where he graduated from UCSD with a Bachelor degree in Molecular Biology. Wanting to see the other side of the country, Dr. Hsue continued his post graduate learning at Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated in 2004 with High Honors and received many clinical and academic awards of excellence. Since then he has taken hundreds of hours of advanced education courses in his pursuit of mastering the art and science of dentistry.
Dr. Hsue believes in a comprehensive approach to oral health and is skilled in many facets of dentistry including root canals, dentures, cosmetic dentistry and smile makeovers, gum disease treatment, adult orthodontics, implants, sleep apnea appliance therapy and TMJ/chronic headache treatment. He is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Dental Association (ADA), Washington State Dental Association (WSDA), American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE). He and his team are dedicated to providing you with the highest quality dental care with an emphasis on patient education and comfort. Since moving to Washington with his family in 2009, Dr. Hsue has helped many people in our community through his dedication to improving his patients' health and wellbeing.
When Dr. Hsue is not busy at work he loves spending time with his wife and two kids. He also enjoys traveling, watching sci-fi movies, a good afternoon nap, and telling funny jokes. If you have a good joke to share he would love to hear it! But please keep it PG rated, his assistants have delicate ears.
Melissas bright smile spreads effortlessly to everyone she meets. With her kind hearted nature and bubbly personality, she strives to ensure each patient has a comfortable, stress free-visit. She loves to challenge herself by expanding her knowledge in the field and perfecting her skills. Her true passion is helping our patients achieve the smile they have always wanted as well as improving their oral health.
In her free time Melissa enjoys spending time with her friends and family, running with her dog, and helping out at church. She is a very adventurous person and loves anything that involves the outdoors, including hiking, camping and road trips. Went for my dental treatment . The Doctor was good. Ambience is good neat and clean. But front desk was unattended. Only advice I got. I was not ready to do to extract my teeth here. Very expensive.

I can see why this Dental office is so well rated! We are new to the area and relied heavily on google reviews to find a new dentist. We were able to get an appointment within 3 weeks and were very impressed with all aspects of the experience. Setting up the appointment was easy, and we were able to fill out paperwork and send it in before our appointment. Our hygienist, Virginia was not only very gentle but she was friendly and was happy to explain things along the way. The Dentist, Dr. HSUE not only came in to examine our teeth but sat down with us afterwards and talked about current teeth health and future teeth health. It was an informative, and thorough experience. I am very happy we found Annigan Dental!

This office used to be very professional and I am very disappointed with my last cleaning this month when the regular hygienist usually does my cleaning but the dr did it and was very fast. In years past the front staff was very kind and accommodating and now they have new people are very unfriendly. I will be finding a new dentist in Bothell.

Amazing dentist! I have feared and avoided the dentist for as long as I could. I searched online and found Annigan Dental with great reviews and the reviews were right! Everyone in the office is amazing, kind, compassionate and goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Dr. Hsue is so kind and I trusted him immediately. He has done amazing work on me and I am so thankful to have found my new dentist. My whole family will be switching to Annigan Dental.

I have been a patient of this dental office for over two years. My last visit was the worst dental visit I have ever had. I politely and professionally raised to Dr. Hsue's attention the issues but he did not address my complaint. I was scheduled to see a my hygienist Virginia whom I have always seen for each of my cleanings. The office has always scheduled my cleanings with her and they know she is my preferred hygienist. I was scheduled to see her on February 8 at 2pm. I received a call from their office on February 2nd asking me if I wanted to move my appointment at 8am on February 9, which is my preferred time slot as they know from my prior appointments. I accepted. On February 9, I arrived at exactly 8am and to my surprise, I was greeted by someone else who turned out to be the dentist's assistant. As I was asked to go to the back for my cleaning, I saw another patient walk towards my hygienist I normally see to get their cleaning done. This confused me but I patiently waited to see what will happen. The doctor's assistant did not offer the same welcoming service as I normally get. What was really strange is the doctor came to see me next and while I thought that he would do X-rays or some other work, he instead started to do the cleaning himself but very very aggressively. I complained to the doctor of the pain he was causing but all he did was pause and continue his rushed cleaning job. He started the cleaning at 8:10am and ended at 8:30. I have never had a cleaning done in 20 minutes, particularity since I have gum disease. All my prior cleanings were done in at least 1 hour and some of which went over due my dental condition. After the Dr. Hsue finished his rushed cleaning, he told his assistant to polish my teeth and left us. When I first started to go to this dental office over two years ago, Dr. Hsue recommended teeth fillings and laser procedure on my gums. I did what he recommended but I was in a lot of pain for many days after he did the laser procedure. I continued to see the hygienist because she is really good, warm, and caring. But whenever I dealt with Dr. Hsue, I never felt he truly cared. This past appointment was really surprising to me and I decided to politely raise this to the doctor at the front desk. He said he saw me instead of Virginia because my teeth was not that bad and he could do the cleaning himself. But this can't be true. I am scheduled to see my hygienist more frequently than other patients due to my dental condition and even then, it takes at least an hour each time. It was Dr. Hsue's recommendation that I see my hygienist this often. And now suddenly my teeth did not need much cleaning. In fact, in my last appointment with Virginia, she warned me that I may need deep cleaning again because each time she saw me, she notice I don't have much improvement. After listening to the doctor explanation, I realized he was not being honest and truthful, providing one explanation after another that simply made no sense. I thanked the doctor for his time and left. I was very professional and kind towards him, even under the circumstance. I later wrote him an email documenting everything that has occurred, factually stated. Rather than address my complaint appropriately as his patient, he simply wrote me a letter stating "based on the incident from your last visit with us on 2/9/2022 and your subsequent email... we will discontinue your patient care here". He is unfortunately trying to wash his hands away from what he has done and trying to attribute it to an "incident" and what I wrote him afterwards. I only raised to his attention his wrongdoings and terrible experience and pain I experienced from him. There was no "incident", and my email only stated the facts. I strongly discourage anyone to see this doctor. Read his past reviews and see for yourself what others had to say about his practice. There are many other issues I can write about here but I hope I have raised enough for others to at least question the ethics and conduct of Dr. Hsue and his staff.

Annigan Dental is amazing! I used to hate going to the dentist and regularly put off getting my cleanings done. I switched to Annigan Dental last year after reading through their website and everything the said is true. The whole staff was incredible but especially Melissa. She was so calming throughout my exam and then dealt with my complicated insurances so I didn't have to! Dr. Hsue was so kind and I immediately trusted him. Even though I live in Seattle now, doing the drive to Bothell is worth it!! The most gentle cleaning and exam I've ever had. Also, if talking during your cleanings is something that causes anxiety, you can ask for a quiet exam! Highly recommend and now my husband is switching over too!

I've been coming to Annigan for a couple years now and every time it's always the best service. They are so warm and welcoming I appreciate how comfortable they make me feel. I'm someone who usually gets anxious going to the dentist but they always go out of their way to put me at ease. Definitely recommend if you are nervous about going to the dentist like I am!

Annigan dental has beyond amazing customer service from start to finish! They genuinely care about your needs, and treat you as if you're the only patient of the day. I've been to several dental offices where I feel as if I'm part of the cattle being herded in and out of there. Not at Annigan! They are five star!Highly recommend!

Love this place for my whole family. They are great with my kids, and have accommodated our back to back appointments. They have kids toothbrushes like Spiderman or Frozen on them for the kiddos and after their visit they get to pick a toy from the toy chest!

Great staff and treatment. As a new patient, I find everything high standards and meeting the expectations. Dr is super amazing provides consultations before starting his work/treatment. The staff are super professional, friendly, and quick. Great materials are provided for patients. Kids receive some toys and treats. Free snacks and non alcoholic beverages provided. I had such a great visit today! The front desk was so welcoming and helped me figure everything out with my insurance. I had the greatest experience with Mallory, my dental hygienist, and felt that I received the best treatment from all of the staff. I highly recommend and am grateful to have found a new dentist family! I cannot say enough great things.

I transferred to Annigan Dental as I needed to have two crowns replaced and they offered a higher level of coverage with my insurance provider. The office and staff are very nice. During my first visit, following X-rays and exam, Dr. Hsue gave me a thorough consultation of my dental status and recommendations on treatments. Over two separate follow-on visits, Dr. Hsue performed two fillings, along with two crowns made of zirconia which he recommended over porcelain. The treatment process went smoothly, I didn't experience any pain, and I'm very happy with the service I received. Dr. Hsue uses the latest technology and is very interactive with his patients. If you're looking for a new dentist, I'd recommended checking out Annigan Dental.
