We provide a full range of dental treatment options, including preventive care for the entire family, regular teeth cleanings as well as gum (periodontal) therapy, fillings, root canal treatment, sleep apnea and anti-snoring appliances, dental implant teeth, extractions, crowns, and bridges. Dr. Sohn is a certified provider of Invisalign invisible braces.We also provide sedation and nitrous oxide for anxious patients.
Dr. Annie Sohn received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University Of Washington School Of Dentistry in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Sohn graduated With Honor in Dentistry and was the recipient of numerous scholarships and awards. She was also elected Class Vice President and was able to serve her fellow classmates in this capacity for three years.
Since graduating from UW, Dr. Sohn has furthered her education by logging in hundreds of hours of continuing dental education, well beyond the minimum requirement. She has extensive knowledge in the areas of preventive and restorative dentistry, with significant work experience in molar root canal therapy, laser dentistry, oral surgery, dentures, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, smile design, Invisalign, and dental implants. She has worked with many fearful patients, relieving their concerns and successfully restoring their oral health. In addition to the practice of dentistry, Dr. Sohn enjoys mentoring and teaching dental students at the UW Dental Urgent Care Clinic. She also volunteers with Medical Teams International on their mobile dental clinic vans to provide dental care to underserved populations. Dr. Sohn supports organized dentistry through membership in the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, and the Seattle King County Dental Society. She is also a dedicated member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
All of the credentials mentioned above attest to Dr. Sohns passion and commitment to the practice of dentistry. She believes that if a dentist is no longer passionate about her work, she is no longer providing the highest level of care her patients deserve. I love my dentist. My case is tough, and I prepared for it. She's thorough, caring, and empowering. We have a plan and because of that, it makes it feel like it can be accomplished and I can have the smile I've always wanted. So glad that I found her.

I am sorry that I have to leave this review, but there were a few things that I experienced while being a patient here just did not sit right with me. 1. I was charged for an extra root scaling when I went in for a filling appointment. I would totally understand if the treatment was needed; but there was no communication from the dental team that this procedure was being done until after the appointment. The treatment plan they provided did not show a root scaling on it, either. I just wish that there's better communication. 2. While the dental team was not outwardly rude or mean, our interaction made me feel ashamed that I had to get fillings done. However, I do see that there were many great reviews about their friendliness; so it might just be an isolated incident. 3. The receptionist was very friendly when I first met her. However, if you were ever unclear about some information she provided for you over the phone and she needed to explain it to you, she would become extremely impatient and rude in a split second. To be honest, my interaction with her was one of the worst customer service experience I've ever encountered.

My family loves Dr. Annie I really appreciate her lively and energetic cleanings. Plus having small hands and fingers I feel like she can really get to the root of my dental hygiene! 5 stars, great location downtown next to Nordstroms or the Pacific place for any post dental shopping. 5 stars even after a drilling, probably still smiling due to the laughing gas!

Had an 8am new patient appointment today and called to ask if it was a okay if I showed up 5 minutes late. A woman named Kris answered the phone and was extremely rude but not at first. She first said it was okay but I may have to wait longer. I asked what she meant by that and if it was better for me to reschedule instead of waiting. Her tone flipped and she was extremely angry and went off on how there's other patients with appointments around the same time..totally understandable which I was I asked if I should just reschedule. Not sure why she decided that was the time to be rude. I then asked where I can park and she still had her angry tone and made me feel stupid for asking about the closest garage. After almost arriving to the office I decided that the front desk lady was so rude there was no way I can support that business. I'm sure the doctors are great but my only experience is with Kris at the front desk and she was downright horrible and made me feel like I wouldn't be welcomed when I showed up. It's a shame since I'm behind on dental work and will have to now find another dentist which could take weeks... but I'm not going to go in to a place for dental work that yells at their new patients for asking questions. It's a shame lake union family dental stopped taking my insurance.. they would never treat a patient (especially a new one) like this.

I've been going to Dr Annie Sohn for over five years. She's phenomenal and has a lot of positive energy. She is also great at what she does and provides good advice for dental hygiene. I suggest anyone to go see her. Her staff is very friendly and responsive.

I had my first appointment scheduled but I woke up feeling I'll so I called their office directly to reschedule but they didn't pick up so k left a voicemail message and an email. Then I rescheduled online using the portal they have on their website (same portal I used to schedule my first appointment). Shortly after, I got an email saying that my rescheduled appointment was canceled and to call the office. Called the office again and a woman at the front answered. I explained the situation and she responded by telling me that I should have come in because they were masked and I shouldn't have canceled if I wasn't coughing (which she didn't ask if I was coughing or not).....with all that's going on in the world and everyone else's policy being that if you don't feel well then you shouldn't risk getting others sick. This is the first time I've encountered a business trying to pressure me to not follow general Covid guidelines. I thought I was doing the right thing by rescheduling but the person on the phone chastised me for this and barely tried to hear me. She very rudely explained to me that she'd staffed people for two hours for my appointment. Um, im sorry? I truly am but usually when you're sick the right thing to do is to not subject others to that. How am I to know that they don't mind? I don't work in the dental industry. She kept trying to talk over me and spoke down to me so I canceled altogether because I can't deal with a rude office before I even step onto their property! This is not good customer service and I don't know of anyone who would want to be treated this way. I knew a cancelation fee may be a potential consequence but I didn't know that I would be shamed and pressured for doing what I thought was right. Not okay. This was a bizarre and unpleasant experience. I don't recommend this office unless you're okay with being put down and scolded like a bad child.

Dr Sohn is an incredibly knowledgeable dentist. I am repeatedly impressed at her efficiency and effectiveness. Her team too is very friendly. I've had two instances when I needed an urgent appointment and Dr Sohn was able to fit me in the same day.

I will give Dr. Annie Sohn a great review as she was very decisive and knew what to do and also hesitated for my highest well-being and outcome. I had a great conversation with the receptionist on the phone but when I met her in person she was very impersonal which should be corrected. We are all there for one reason or another and should be greeted in the best way regardless...my opinion.
