Dr. Merlino has been in practice for over 26 years. She grew up in the Pittsburgh area and now resides in Delmont with her husband Tom and her daughter Leia. She graduated in 1988 from the University of Pittsburgh with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine. She spent four months working at a hospital in Kenya, and worked as an associate in various practices in Western PA before opening her own practice in September of 1990. She enjoys music, theater, travel, roller coasters, and is an active participant in the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival. She takes mission trips whenever possible to donate her talents to the less fortunate. Her husband works with Mission to the World, leading their Disaster Response Ministry.

Wasn't really a fan of the staff lady at desk was very nice doctors was kinda harsh was Trying to take an x ray and the computer went down wouldn't try it again just kinda said yup gotta go to an oral surgeon so just seemed didn't wanna really help me much got me a prescription least so will give them little appreciation least for that

They ask for $ even the healthcare covering 100% I hope she will lose her license all she care about lying to insurance company to get $ for stuff didn't even do to the patient

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a dentist. Very unprofessional and money hungry. I would not reccomend.

Dr. Merlino and her staff are not only knowledgeable and professional, but are friendly, courteous, and caring toward each and every one of their patients. I have been going to Dr. Merlino for years for my dental care, and have never had a negative experience. Any time I have had an urgent need, she always finds a way to fit me into her schedule as soon as possible (sometimes even the same day), and always provides gentle and professional treatment. In addition, she and her staff travel to developing countries several times a year and provide much-needed dental care and education to those less fortunate. If you live near the Delmont or Leechburg areas, Dr. Merlino should be your dentist!

The most horrible office experience we have had... don't go here! Doesn't seem like anyone is ever even in the office? Customer service is terrible and fails to notify you if your insurance is "in-network". But hey they'll gladly take your money!
