Dr. Merlino has been in practice for over 26 years. She grew up in the Pittsburgh area and now resides in Delmont with her husband Tom and her daughter Leia. She graduated in 1988 from the University of Pittsburgh with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine. She spent four months working at a hospital in Kenya, and worked as an associate in various practices in Western PA before opening her own practice in September of 1990. She enjoys music, theater, travel, roller coasters, and is an active participant in the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival. She takes mission trips whenever possible to donate her talents to the less fortunate. Her husband works with Mission to the World, leading their Disaster Response Ministry.

Dr. Annette Merlino has been my family's dentist for over 25 years! She is always gentle and professional. She demonstrates caring and compassion in all that she does. I highly recommend her and her team to anyone looking for the best dentist!

I've gone there for years until my insurance changed and now my kids go there. We have never had a problem and everyone has been very nice. If I wanted to complain it would be about the one male intern/practicing dentist. It might sound funny but I thought it was kind of rude. My son was 10 and had a bit of stuffy nose when he worked on his teeth and as I was standing there he said to my son "Make sure you clean out your nose the next time you come in"...... excuse me.....I'm guessing you do not have kids yet and someday will realize how hard it is to micro-manage children. Maybe its my fault for not looking up his nose to make sure all the snots were out for you. I'll try harder......

Recently my dad, Jerry Howarth, had work done by Dr. Merlino, he was extremely impressed and thankful for the services he had done. The office was very accommodating and professional, excellent bedside manner and quality of work. Not only was he able to have been seen sooner than his original appointment, but Dr. Merlino was also able to complete all of his dental work in just one appointment. By far the best dentist my dad has ever been to!

Dr Merlino is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. I have had a lot of dental work done over the years. I have always had a fear of going to the dentist because of both the pain that I have experienced over the years and the cost. Dr Merlino is the most gentle dentist I have ever had and has worked with me to fix my teeth in the most affordable way. I love her and don't suffer from bad anxiety when I have an appointment coming up! Love her and her staff!! Linda G.

I was in extreme pain and I called Dr. Merlino office and they got me in the next day. Found out I needed a root canal and they did it right then and there no hesitation! The staff, Doctor, Assistances are so sweet, kind, nice, and patient. They never made me feel rushed they took their time so that I wouldn't be in anymore pain and could have a good holiday. I would highly recommend this Dentist office and Dr. Merlino to anyone!

Tried to reschedule an appointment, was put on hold for 30 minutes and then hung up on. So I will not be rescheduling I suppose

Dr. Merlino is a wonderfully caring and gentle dentist. When I needed an emergency root canal, she fit me in as soon as possible and was quick to give me a call back when I called the emergency line. I highly recommend her! I have always been pleased with the care I received.
