Dr. Alexander Annese graduated from nearby Malden Catholic High School in 2008. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Boston College in 2012 and his dental degree (DMD) from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2016. Dr. Annese is an implant and cosmetic dentist that focuses on digital dentistry. He continues to find new techniques in CAD-CAM and 3D printing technology to deliver the most advanced dental treatment available. Dr. Annese is a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society and American Dental Association. In his spare time, Dr. Alex plays soccer in the Bay State Soccer League.
Dr. Justin Cifuni is a board-certified periodontal surgeon in the specialty of periodontology and implant dentistry. He is a clinical instructor of the advanced specialty education program in periodontics at Boston University's Goldman School of Dental Medicine (BUGSDM). Before attending dental school, he obtained a Master of Arts with a major in Medical Science from Boston University's School of Medicine. He was involved in research projects at the university and Dana Farber Cancer Institute. This background is important because Dr. Cifuni continues to work on multiple clinical research projects with numerous companies as well with Boston University in an effort to advance treatments in the field of periodontology. Currently, he is working on a number of projects pertaining to hard and soft tissue regeneration along with minimally invasive surgical therapies involving micro instruments and medical lasers.
Dr. John Annese, a native of Revere, graduate from nearby Malden Catholic High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Boston College and his dental degree (DMD) from Tufts University in 1983. Dr. Annese has memberships in the Massachusetts Dental Society, American Dental Association and Guild of St. Apollonia. He is past chair of the North Metropolitan District Dental Society. His hobbies and interests include traveling, especially cruises. He loves soccer, football and hockey. An avid skier and fisherman, Dr. Annese resides in Saugus with his wife Maria.

Fantastic! I went there for the first time yesterday for a cleaning and everything was great. The office is very clean, the staff is friendly, and the hygienist I had was excellent. They use the latest technology, which is very important to me. Highly recommend!

Great experience at Annese Dental. Staff and Dr. Annese are cordial, friendly and are anways concerned about their patients needs. My only regret is that I didn't find out about them sooner. Can't recommend them enough

If you need a dentist look no further. Dr. John Annese, Dr. Alex Annese, the dental hygienists and all the staff are excellent. They have been the dentists for my family for over 30 years. Annese Dental has always had the latest and best technology and equipment. Annese Dental knows how to do dental and provide compassionate and excellent dental care. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Alex just gave me my final Invisalign tray and I couldn't be happier with the results. My teeth look amazing and I wish I had done it sooner! My experience was fantastic and I would recommend Dr. Alex and Dr. Annese to anyone.

Let me begin with, I will never go anywhere else and I recommend them to everyone I know. Since my first visit, the staff and dentists have always made me feel comfortable and confident. When I began going here, I explained how other places told me that I needed "extras" and deep cleanings. Immediately, the hygienists told me that they didn't see the need for those services. They were gentle and walked me through the process. All the staff are friendly and professional. When Dr. Alex recommended clear aligners, I was apprehensive about getting them. I'm so happy with the results and the level of care I received throughout the entire process. He always listens to my feedback and concerns. He addressed them every time and explained the process so that I knew what to expect as I went through this transformation. He is a perfectionist and that meant that my results were as important to him as they were to me. I truly trust him. And I can't say that about my previous dentistries. My fears about visiting the dentist no longer exist. It's a great feeling to just go to my appointments without hesitation. Everyone there is amazing!

I'm so glad I found this dentist! Every visit I've had has been pleasant. I just had a crown replaced and the whole visit took 2 hours. At my last dentist where I had the original crown it took 7 visits and hours of my time I'll never get back.

I recently completed an teeth-straightening procedure at the Annesse's dental office. Overall, the procedure has improved my oral health immensely, and I am really satisfied with the look of my teeth now. While wearing the teeth-straightening trays, I did not feel any pain or discomfort. I am thankful for the thoughtfulness and patience of the hygenists and dentists at the Annesse's dental office.

I have been coming to Annese dental for the last six months and each time I return I get the best care. The front desk staff are friendly and polite, check in is easy and fast even on the first visit you will be given a tablet to quickly fill out your info. Holly my hygienist is very experienced, professional and she is also thorough on each cleaning. Cleaning services are fast. I'm so happy to find a fantastic family run dental office right in my neighborhood.

I cannot say enough great things about Annese Dental, Dr. John & Dr. Alex, their team and staff in Revere, MA. They are by far the most welcoming and professional team in the area. Dr. Alex just completed some crowns on my front teeth that completely changed my smile and appearance. I can't Thank him enough for his kind and calm demeanor.

First, let me start by saying I would never go anywhere else for dental care. I was looking to get my teeth straightened for a while and my friend recommended me to try Annese dentist office. At first, I was skeptical because I live almost 45 minutes away and didn't want the hassle of driving so far. BUT I am so happy she convinced me to come here because my teeth look phenomenal! Alex was my dentist and walked me through each step of the process of using clear aligners. The technology used was all advanced and I had minimal discomfort with each of my retainers. He listened to all of my concerns and always asked for my feedback. Even at the end of my course, he could sense I wasn't completely happy with the results and made adjustments so that I could achieve the results I wanted. I always feel comfortable and relaxed with each visit. I truly couldn't ask for a better dentist. Furthermore, Holly the hygienist has done my teeth cleaning twice now and she is awesome! The staff at the front are always so kind and welcoming. I'm so glad my friend got me to come here! Highly recommend!!!!

I visited Dr. Annese's office for dental implant surgery and veneers. I saw Dr. Cifuni and Dr. Annese (Alex). Both Drs. are professional, knowledgeable, caring, informative, and efficient. This is a lengthy process, but the appointments never felt daunting. The entire staff at the office is friendly and very accommodating! I cannot say enough great things about them, and have already recommended them to friends/family.

I had an old filling that failed. I found this office by a review and was very please with the service. They got me schedule quickly and efficiently and that care was excellent. They where attentive to did a great job with the replacement filling.

I have been going here for years for cleanings and the staff are always friendly and accommodating to my work schedule. I have never had braces but noticed that my teeth were starting to shift as I got older. Dr. (Alex) Annese said I would be a good candidate for invisible aligners and got me in for an appointment to scan my teeth right away. The price point was comparable to what is advertised for an "at home" liner experience but with the oversight of a professional and regular visits to check on progress. My first liner was a little tough to adjust to and I wanted a minor adjustment to the fit and they squeezed me in the following morning so that I would be more comfortable. I had the liners for a little over six months and am SO happy with the results. I noticed a chip in my tooth that wasn't noticeable until they were straightened and he immediately validated and gave me options to make sure I felt like the result was perfect. He did some bonding during the same appointment even though it took longer than expected and the result made a huge difference. I am so happy that I opted to do this and that I did it with a dentist that I already knew. I would recommend (and already have to friends) anyone considering getting braces to go to Dr. Annese! You will not be disappointed!
