Dental Implants are a new alternative in tooth replacement. The procedure consists of two stages: placement of a replacement tooth root at a specialists office or our office, followed by placement of a tooth replacement (crown) at our office.
In some cases, when there is abundant jawbone tissue and the patient is in good health, some specialists offer immediate loading. In this single-day procedure, the implant and crown are placed simultaneously.
More commonly, the crown is fitted several months after implant placement, allowing the implant time to fuse with the jawbone. In cases involving bone grafting, the graft must first heal for several months before the implant can be placed. The implant must then integrate into the bone for several months before the crown can be adhered to the implant.
The first portion of the procedure is done at your specialists office. The gum covering the area is gently folded back and the underlying bone prepared to receive the implant. The extent of the bone preparation is dependent on the number of implants required. The implant(s) are then placed, and the gum sutured. The implant should fully integrate into the bone after 3 to 6 months.

We understand the difficult balance that todays families face and have a zero percent payment plan with Care Credit available to help with any out of pocket costs associated with your treatment. For those patients that are uninsured we have a special IN HOUSE program available and are committed to work within your family budget so that you will be able to service the dental needs of your family.
Dr. Kennedy Dele attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology minor with a Fine Art background. Following graduation, Dr. Dele was accepted into The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey New Jersey Dental School where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. There he found balance in his passion for science and his love of art as he pursued his career as a general and cosmetic dentist.
After his dental graduation, he continued his post- doctoral education in a highly competitive General Practice Residency Program at the Washington D.C Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington, D.C.There, he received training in all the dental specialties with rotations in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Implants, Oral Pathology, Periodontal Surgery, Oral Facial Pain, TMJ, Anesthesia and Intravenous sedation at Washington Hospital Center, Washington D.C and The National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Dele is the recipient of numerous academic awards, honors and achievements. He is exemplified by the numerous continuing education courses he takes throughout the year in various topics in general and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Dele currently holds dental licensure in the State of Maryland and Virginia. He maintains memberships in The American Dental Association and The Academy of General Dentistry.
