This state-of-the-art dental office is a completely environmentally green dental office located in the Museum District of Houston, Texas. Dr. Anna Munn practices periodontology, implantology and endodontics.

Dr. Munn was born in Barcelona, Spain, educated in Europe and graduated in 1983 with her MD from Universitat Central De Barcelona (UCB). As a physician for INSALUD (Institution for Health in Spain), she actively worked in the emergency service and intensive care units (ICU). Four years later, she earned her DDS from UCB, as well. She then immediately joined the staff of General Hospital of Catalunya, working in general dentistry. She was then accepted in the department of endodontics under the direction of Dr. Jaime Cuenca and completed her specialty training and certification in endodontics.

Dr. Munn came to the United States, studied and worked at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, department of periodontics, and obtained her certificate in periodontics and her Master of Science degree in 1993. She taught and did research as a visiting assistant professor in the department of periodontics. Dr. Munn is now licensed to practice dentistry in Europe and in Texas, where she has been a practicing periodontist in the Houston area for over 20 years.

Dr. Munns basic science research experience was in the field of bone matrix mineralization. Her ongoing investigations have been related to dental implants, mini-dental implants and guided bone regeneration, and she has participated in clinical studies evaluating different types of barriers, where she established a study on connective tissue grafts.

She has presented in meetings and seminars nationally and internationally and maintains membership in numerous dental organizations. She is a member of the Greater Houston Society of Periodontists, which she chaired as president in 2001 and 2002. She is also a member of the Greater Houston Dental Society, American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, American Association of Endodontists and founder of the Houston Hispanic Dental Association.

Currently, she focuses her private practice on periodontics, bone regeneration, periodontal BOTOX Cosmetic treatments, laser dentistry, dental implants and mini-dental implants. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and speaks fluent Spanish, Catalan, French, Italian, Portuguese and English.

Dr. Rosalie Nguyen was born in Fountain Valley, California and relocated to New Orleans, Louisiana when she was 9 years old. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Xavier University of New Orleans, Dr. Nguyen spent time volunteering with youth organizations around the city. She was accepted to the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 2010 and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2014.

After graduating from dental school, Dr. Nguyen moved to Houston, Texas to attend the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, School of Dentistry, where she obtained her Master of Science degree in periodontics.

During her residency, Dr. Nguyen focused heavily on her research and studied risk factors associated with dental implant failures. She is now a part-time volunteer faculty member at the university teaching clinical periodontics to predoctoral students.

Currently, Dr. Nguyen is involved with several organizations, including the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society, Texas Association of Women Dentists, American Academy of Periodontology, Houston Hispanic Dental Association and Houston Asian Dental Society. She is currently secretary/treasurer of the Greater Houston Society of Periodontists and the UT Periodontics Alumni Association.

Dr. Nguyen has joined the practice of Anna M. Munn, DDS, PA & Associates near the Museum District and Medical Center in Houston. She holds a dental license in both Texas and Louisiana. She is bilingual and proficient in English and Vietnamese.
