I used to be scared of the dentist. Thanks to Leanne and all of the staff, their warmth made me feel comfortable. The fear has been dismantled! I give the highest recommendation and bigtime gratitude to Ankeny Smiles. You all are seriously great.

The hygienists are nice, but I have never in my life had such an impersonal experience with a dentist like Zimmerman who comes in, looks at my teeth for five seconds, hardly speaks to me and then pushes the hygienist off to do the rest. Doesn't look or feel very good to any person coming in for their teeth. Also the dentist here has never actually done any of the work on my teeth.... Again, was put off on others.

The doctors and nurses are polite and professional; however, LeAnn in the office is rude, unprofessional, and lies to justify office staff mistakes. My disabled son had an appointment scheduled and I took off work to take him. My wife and I both were sent text messages two weeks prior confirming the appoint. I immediately responded with confirmation the day I received the text. My wife confirmed 48 hours prior to the appoint. We received a call the day before the appointment telling us the appointment was canceled do to lack of confirmation. I called the office and asked for a manager and she got on the phone. I asked her if she was a manager and she said "no, but I can try to help".the cshe was terrible to deal with.

Becky and the staff here are amazing. I would highly recommend. Ankeny smiles you are awesome. Doc you are a pro when I comes to pulling teeth in and out.

Wonderful staff! Very professional, friendly and they put me at ease right away. I was a first time patient and they were able to work me right in. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I was so nervous going to a new dentist. But Becky at Ankeny Smiles was amazing! She explained everything to me. Which I really appreciate. And she even held my hand during my procedure. I was in and out in an hour! That office runs like a well-piled machine. But with smiles!

I used to like this dental office. I came in about a month ago for tooth pain. I was told I needed a root canal. I felt the dentist was trying to pressure me to have my tooth pulled he kept mentioning just have a denture made with your other missing tooth. I.left the office in tears thinking about having my tooth pulled.I ended up going to Matta dental where the Dr. Suggested to me to keep my tooth and use Care Credit to help pay for the root canal. I am now pain free. Also the ankeny smiles office had power out and called the day of one of my appts to cancel it but if I cancel the day of I get charged $50. Seems hypocritical to me. I won't be coming back.

After calling 35 different dentist offices in and around Des Moines these guys were the only ones who would get me in within a day or two and accepted my insurance.

I'm very afraid of the dentist office! NOT HERE! Everyone was welcoming and gentile. Highly recommend Ankeny Smiles! Thank you for being my hero!

My partials broke in half and I rushed into ankeny smiles were Kim greeted me as if I'm family. I waited 3 mins and was sent back to see the man with the plan Tom. They understand how important your smile is and make u feel like u are the most important patient. Highly recommend!!!

If you suffer from anxiety or panic attack disorders I do NOT recommend this place very pushy and demanding I felt like I was being judged cause I didn't agree with the dentist. I certainly did not feel comfortable in there dentist office all I wanted to do was leave. For future reference learn to understand and work with you're patients better. Everyone person is different if I could give a zero star review I definitely would. Thanks

Best dental office ever! The office is beautiful and looks brand new, very inviting environment and the staff is amazing, and friendly! They always go above and beyond with any questions and is very accommodating. My daughter had her first appointment there, a great dental office for the whole family!

I highly recommend this place for everyone! The staff are fast and efficient! I had the pleasure of Leanne B to assist me today. She is such a beautiful soul and soo nice. She is so knowledgable and I just feel like Ankeny Smiles has a gem on their hands. Thank you so much Leanne B for everything you do!

Really happy how Nam and the doctor did my dentures they are awesome I would recommend them to everyone the front desk is also very friendly know me by name when I come in I was just at Ankeny smiles again they got me in one day Kim was awesome making me an appointment so fast and Leanne is so helpful also both receptionists are good too will give them five stars all day long

Up-to-date equipment, knowledgable staff, thorough exam. My hygienist Becky did a great job of explaining everything that was going on during my visit. They were mindful & made sure to not recommend things that my insurance wouldn't cover.
