Dr. Stewart grew up in Altoona, Iowa. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Northern Iowa. He continued his education at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where he earned his D.D.S. in 1994. Following graduation, Dr. Stewart moved to Ankeny and began practicing at Ankeny Dental Center.
Herfamily moved around quite a bit when shewas young until her dad retired from the military and theysettled near family in Sioux City, IA. She graduated fromHeelan High School in 2004 and then moved to Ames, IA to attend Iowa State University.After having herson in 2008, shedecided to pursue the dream shehad always had of working in the dental field. She thenstarted her prerequisite classes and enrolled in Dental Hygiene School at DMACC.
While attending dental hygiene school, she worked part time in the Copy & Print Center at Staples where shemet herhusband. After graduating from dental hygiene school in 2014, theymoved to Ankeny. Herhusband is a firefighter/paramedic for the City of Ankeny. Theyhave a son that attends Parkview Middle Schooland a daughter that will be 3 years old!
Kelly, now a dental hygienist, used to workas a dental assistant here at Ankeny Dental Center for 5 years before going back to school for hygiene. She has been working as a dental hygienist for 10 years and has brought some amazing experience to Ankeny Dental Center.You are in great hands with Kelly, as her main goal is to strive to make patients feel comfortable at the dental office. When she is not working or taking her kids to their activities, she enjoys running in races in Des Moines, grilling out, traveling, and relaxing with friends and family.
Sue and her husband Todd live in Maxwell and have two children, Cailey and Cole. When not at the office, Sue enjoys spending time with her family and friends camping, motorcycle riding, BBQing and more!
Dr. Smith grew up in Ankeny, Iowa. She completed herundergraduate studies at Grand View University. She continued hereducation at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where she earned herD.D.S. in 2020. Following graduation, Dr. Smithmoved back toAnkeny and will begin practicing at Ankeny Dental Center, July 2020.
Dr. Smith is a member of the Iowa Dental Association andThe American Dental Association. She is licensed through the Dental Board of Iowa. She has a passion for dentistry and looks forward to working with people of all ages.
Lyndy moved from the Quad Cities to Ankeny in 1994.She started working as a dental assistant at Ankeny Dental Centerin 1999 and the office has become her second family. She enjoys getting to know all patients and being there to assist with their needs.
Debgrew up in Ankeny and graduated Ankeny High School in1974. She startedworkingat Ankeny Dental Center in 1976 as a Dental Assistant. She then graduated from DMACC's Dental Hygiene program in 1982 and has been working as a dental hygienistat Ankeny Dental Center since 2000.The office feels like herfamilybecause of herwonderful co-workers and boss,as well as the long association there.
Deb and her husband, Norm,are expecting their first grandchild on July 4, 2020, from theirdaughter, Anna, and her husband. They also have a son, Paul, who isa student in Almaty, Kazakhstan, learning Russian. They have another son, Scott, who is recently married and is an aerospace engineer working at ISU.

Best dentist in Ankeny!! You wont regret Ankeny Dental Center being your new dental home. I had lots of questions but Dr. Smith. She took her time and answered all of them. Ive needed some dental work done over the years and every time I get any work done Its always painless and feels great after! The rest of the staff was polite and informative. I would recommend this practice and Dr. Jackie to anyone.

My first appointment with Ankeny Dental Center was a wonderful experience! From the front desk staff to the hygienist I was impressed. I would highly recommend Dr Jackie. Very personable, kind, and knowledgeable. Ankeny Dental Center is a great choice!!

Have gone to Ankeny Dental (Dr. Stewart) since moving to Ankeny 23 years ago. Would recommend to anyone!! Love the staff which really helps reduce the anxiety I have about dentist visits! They are awesome!! They always treat me like part of the family!

I've gone to Dr Stewart since being referred to him by a co-worker after moving to Ankeny about 10 years ago. He and his staff have been great and have always gotten me in when I've had an emergency. They have early morning appointments, which made things a lot easier when I worked out of town. I highly recommend them!

We came to Ankeny a few months ago. Of course you have to start over with everything. I saw a pamphlet at the gym we joined for Ankeny Dental Center. So we decided to try it. Such a nice place. The staff are very nice and fun to talk to. The dentists were very thorough, kind and also fun to talk to. I definitely recommend going Ankeny Dental Center.

I've been going to Dr Stewart for over 25 years. He & His team are friendly, knowledgeable and take great care. They do not try to upsell, I appreciate Dr Stewart's cautious approach with my dental care. Highly recommend!

I have been a patient of Ankeny Dental Center for 25+ years. Dr Jeff Stewart is a kind, caring and gentle dentist and the staff all follow suit. I just had my first visit with Dr Jackie Smith and she also proved Ankeny Dental has another set of good hands. This practice is very clean, super organized and takes great care of their patients.

Dr. Jackie Smith is the best dentist in Ankeny!! I was in a ton of pain and she got me feeling back to normal - I can finally drink cold water again! Dr. Jackie was very kind and gentle.
