I became interested in dentistry when I was just fourteen years old. Due to a rare dental condition, I underwent extensive treatment and experienced true dental rehabilitation firsthand. That experience paved the way for a life-long passion to provide for others what had been given to me: a beautiful, healthy, confident smile. This dentist office is different from others as our team is centered on providing top-notch patient care.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of meeting and working with some of the most highly-regarded clinicians and dental educators in the world. I completed the entire continuum at the prestigious L.D. Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida and was honored to serve as a Lead Faculty member, facilitating the education of others in the concepts of TMJ, occlusion, and restorative dentistry that I had learned. I became a Pankey Scholar after successfully completing a rigorous process that challenges each candidate to demonstrate an exceptional level of practice, which has been awarded to only 48 dentists worldwide.
I believe that too often, dental treatment is offered in response to a problem without also treating the source of the problem. A thorough evaluation of a patients lifestyle, chewing patterns, tooth arrangement and gum health allows more appropriate treatment of a dental condition for a more comfortable, long-lasting result.
I was strongly influenced at a very young age, not only to become a dentist, but also to offer to others what I had been given: a chance to keep myteeth and enjoy the comfort and confidence of a healthy smile.
I have had the pleasure of dedicatingover 30 years to the treatment of patients, giving them the dental care and personal attention they deserve. My practice offerspatients a full range of comprehensive dental treatments including preventive, cosmetic and restorative dentistry. I also specializein TMJ diagnosis and treatments and have spent more than 20 years facilitatingcontinuing education events about these time-tested concepts at the prestigious Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Key Biscayne, Florida. I am honored to be one of only a select few dentists worldwide who hold a Scholar title at the Pankey Institute.
Our patients first comprehensive examination is a detailed evaluation of overall health, jaw joints, chewing muscles, gum and surrounding tissues, smile concerns, and airway issuesas well as the condition of the teeth. During their visit well discuss their concerns, whether its a desire for healthy teeth, a more beautiful smile or to addressserious oral health issues. For patients with more complex dental issues, we schedule a stategy session to outline their preferred pathway to a healthy and beautiful smile. This comprehensive approach to dentistry is like looking at the whole forest instead of just the trees.
It is my priority to keep up with of the latest medical technologies, but I creditthe success of my practice to a service approach which treats patients like family. At the end of the day, its not just about teeth or the treatments, but getting to know the patient and addressing his or her individual needs. Patients have different temperaments and circumstances and I believe those differences must be respected.

Dr Myers is a wonderful dentist, very patient and listens to her clients. She was highly recommended to me by family after I had a problem tooth and I have been so happy to be treated successfully by her and her team. I also did the bite splint therapy which really helped my bite. Highly recommend!

WOW... what a difference I have had dental issues for some time, I wish I had found this dentist long ago. Her claim of "solving" dental problems vs repairing dental problems is true. The attention to detail, the time taken and materials used was a big change to what I was used to over the years. From the first time I went in I was told why I kept having issues... The dentists I was going to were repairing issues not solving the entire problem at once. Thank you Dr. Myers!!!

The experience I had with Dr. Myers was one of the best ones I've had. I have had TMJ disorder for 18 years. During that time, I have visited many different dentists, but none of them, unfortunately, could help me with this disorder. I found Dr. Myers when the pain started to worsen with each passing day, and I believed that there is no solution to the problem that I had. Dr. Myers proposed a treatment that would have helped me to relieve the pain that I felt, but even when she told me that there is a treatment that might help, I was still reluctant to believe that it would help because I have tried a similar treatment in Pennsylvania and it did not help. But Dr. Myers's belief that her treatment might help me made me rethink my beliefs, and I decided to try the same treatment one more time. What a surprise it was for me when, after approximately two months of Dr. Myers's treatment, I started to notice a difference and feel much better then I felt before. What a difference it was. I want to thank Dr. Myers and all her staff for making me feel better. Dr. Myers is genuinely a fantastic dentist! If anybody has a TMJ disorder or any other problem related to the mouth, I highly recommend her!

Dr Myers and her staff are absolutely, certifiably THE BEST EVER!!! Not only is the equipment and technology first-rate, she and her staff are FIRST CLASS PROFESSIONALS! Dr Myers is part doctor and part artist. Her dental skills are impeccable, and her attention to detail is like no other doctor I've ever seen. If you don't believe a visit to the dentist can be pleasant (even fun!), by all means visit Dr. Myers' office. I rate Dr Myers and her staff as 5 STARS, but onlty because 10 STARS is not an option!!!

I came to Dr. Myers with an emergency need in August of 2019 after just returning to Texas in retirement. I chipped a tooth on the way in from Abilene, Texas and she saw me that afternoon at 4:30. She made quick work of filling in the area with what she called superglue. My intent was also to start seeing a dentist regularly. It had been 15 years since I had been to the dentist for check ups or cleanings and this emergency gave the great opportunity to start the care journey with Dr. Myers and wow did I need it on a number of fronts! She is simply an excellent dentist!!! I have experienced cavity fillings, crown replacement, emergency repair, bite splint therapy, cosmetic restoration, and gum disease intervention from her, like I said I was in bad shape! Extremely professional and thorough in all the care she provides and deals with you honestly and with great integrity. You will be hard pressed to find a better dentist in the San Antonio/ Boerne Area than Dr. Anita Myers. She is wonderful so much that I have arranged for my wife to see her starting May 18, 2020. One final word; today, May 11, 2020, I graduated from all the treatment she has provided to me with a new dramatically improved smile that I never thought possible. Dr. Myers is amazing! I unfortunately have had some bad experiences at previous dental offices dealing with my TMJ/TMD issues of which have made me not want to go to the dentist anymore. I am so thankful Dr. Meyers was recommended because she has made this unfortunate issue so much better physically and mentally. I started my splint process 6 weeks ago and have noticed more and more improvement each week. I also love the genuine care she has; makes every minute of your time feel so valuable to her.
