Angstadt Family Dental - General dentist in Lancaster, PA

Erics passion for dentistry started at an early age as he watched his father work as a dentist and assisted him over the years from the time he was a teenager and, throughout his college years. It was during this time that he learned about dentistry hands-on. He watched his father help patients get out of pain, improve their quality of life and helped them pursue their dental dreams of having great teeth and a confident new smile.

He strives to provide a comfortable atmosphere for his patients while minimizing their pain and allaying their dental fears. Dr. Eric uses the latest in dental technologies and supporting techniques and the use of dental scanning versus traditional dental impressions. He offers preventive and cosmetic dentistry, dentures, crown and bridgework, root canal therapies, extractions, non-surgical periodontal treatments and dental implant placement and restoration.

He prides himself in being able to educate his patients to possible treatment options first and then, allowing them to make the best possible treatment decisions for themselves. He recognizes that each patient is an individual and requires an individual experience that allows them to become interactive in the decision making process.

He believes that establishing strong relationships and accompanying great mutual trust is of the utmost importance to provide quality dental care for his patients. He works hard to make sure that each patient is treated with compassion and has a unique and fulfilling dental experience.

Dr. Eric says, The cornerstones of providing quality dental care resides in the continual pursuit of advanced education and, constantly seeking to ultimately implement new technologies into my dental skill set.

He is married and resides in Downingtown, PA with his wife, Lindsay, who also works alongside him as a Registered Dental Hygienist. In his spare time, he enjoys working out at the gym, taking seasonal ski trips, biking, and walking his dog, Rocky, and spending time with his cat, Bradley.

There was a problem getting anyone to communicate with me concerning an abscess tooth which became a major issue over the Memorial Day weekend. But once we got through the weekend, Pam in their office reached out to me to make things right, and I appreciate all they did. Btw, Dr. Ann Stuccio at their Lancaster practice is simply amazing - smart, talented, great chair-side manner, and explains everything so that you understand what's happening.

My mouth and heart have never felt so cared for. You go in for a routine exam, and Leslie ends up making your day. She's warm and inviting. Easy to talk to and makes cleaning your teeth while conversing look super easy lol. She takes her time-no rushing....makes you feel like a person with a story worth listening to. Just one heck of a good day I had today because of her conversational skills and empathy. Clean waiting area. Good quality dentist.

Doctor Eric is a great dentist. I always feel like he's listening to me and taking my concerns into account. I've always had really bad experiences at the dentist and he doesn't take that lightly. He always wants to make sure his patients are comfortable and feel safe in his chair.

After experiencing years of dental failure at the hands of another professional my husband and I found this amazing practice. From the moment you walk in the front door and through the whole process it was a very compassionate environment. They were so kind and empathetic to my anxiety of shots. Really truly this is an amazing team!

Had an appointment during normal hours. Showed up to a dark and locked building. No answer to my emails or phone calls. Hope it wasn't an emergency, but if you have an appointment coming up might want to verify they are open.

Last year our family of six relocated to PA and trying to re-establish medical professionals for a family as large as ours is trying. Add to that, a mom (aka me) who developed extreme anxiety to dental work after a few back to back bad experiences trying to get a cavity filled finding a family dentist was daunting. And knowing my last dentist thought I would have to have sedation for any work made it even more difficult. Calling this office and speaking with someone who absolutely believed either Dr. Angstadt could help me. I decided to schedule my whole family here. My husband and 4 kids had really good experiences and I was able to get the feel of the hygienists (Leslie especially helpful just in suggesting things to try here!) and the dentists. I ignored my anxiety that I thought I would never be able to get my filling finished and scheduled a cleaning. Dr. Jon was amazingly kind and understanding and knew we could get this done. I scheduled the filling and Dr. Eric actually handled it. And even though I wanted to bolt from the chair when I got there and could feel the panic set in, once he checked the tooth out, explained the amazing possibility of using their laser tech, and they we could do this, I relaxed and got through it! No fear, no tears Gotta say these two doctors have such great, calming demeanors and actually took the time to listen and help me with something that had caused such anxiety for 2 years, and all with a smile and humor. The biggest recommendation has to happen because they saved me from still trying to search for a sedation dentist AND all the additional expenses that would entail AND I get to stay with a dental practice that the rest of my family is using :)

I have been going to the same location for 25 years, back when it was Carano Dental Group. Dr Carano is now teaching dentistry at a university and has retired from the practice. Even though it is under new ownership, I continue to go there. Most of the same staff have stayed on over the past few years since he retired, and Dr. Stuccio is wonderful. I had some restorative work done recently on old bonding/composites because they were discolored from 25 years of red wine. In less than an hour she had my smile ready for my next Zoom Conference call ! Thanks Dr. S. !

This was absolutely the best dental experience I have had! All of the staff are friendly, and even though you're in pain, they can have you laughing and give you the most enjoyable time that you can have in a dental setting! Very experienced, I have had dental experiences in the past that were just excruciatingly painful, and this experience definitely surpasses it all! You will be blessed by the Lord Jesus stepping through the doors, as it has been a blessing to me in my family! Be sure to visit them and you will find out what I'm talking about!

Dr. Innacola is a wizard. The dentist is like my biggest fear and I've had bad experiences in the past with previous dental practices but this dentist is amazing. I always leave pain free and everything is fixed quick and easy.

The staff would not apply the new patient promo they advertise online for our first visits and booked my apts back to back instead of simultaneously as I requested. They knowingly list their current providers in- network with insurance plans (that their billing provider does not participate in) without regard for the financial impact of that misleading practice on new, unknowing patients. The cleanings were not thorough or in line with the high quality of other providers we have used. The staff did not communicate well from the start and are not service oriented. I would not recommend them.

I visited this office for the first time recently. I was having pretty extreme pain in my tooth. Dr Angstadt reviewed the X-ray and thought that my pain was coming from a nerve and I would need a root canal. After investigating further, he was pretty sure if he fixed a large cavity I had, it would fix my problem and I would no longer need the root canal. Sure enough, he fixed the big cavity with a filling and my pain has gone away and I avoided a root canal! He also came into the office when they were closed just for me. He also checked in with me via text later that evening to see how I was doing. I appreciated that he not only saved me money, but he was very accommodating and kind!
