Dr. Montgomery was born and raised in the small town of Jefferson, Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas as a College Scholar.He then obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He graduatedwith magna cum laude honors and a distinction in research. After dental school, Dr.Montgomerychose to train in a six-year residency program in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Louisville one of the top programs in the country. He was fortunate enough to train under two leaders in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery,Dr. George Kushnerand Dr. Brian Alpert.Dr. Montgomery also attended medical school andobtained his Doctor of Medicine while in Louisville, Kentucky.
During his residency, Dr. Montgomery gained extensive training in the broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery.This included dentoalveolar surgery and wisdom teeth extractions, intravenous sedation and general anesthesia, complex bone grafting and dental implant therapy including full mouth reconstruction, facial trauma, pathology and facial reconstruction, orthognathic surgery and cleft lip and palate treatment.
Dr. Montgomery is passionate about oral surgery and taking great care of his patients. He also cares deeply for the underserved. He volunteers on maxillofacial surgical mission trips operating on some the poorest people in the world. He has been to Ethiopia, Swaziland, Belize, Haiti, Guatemala, and Mexico with different organizations.
He is a small town person at heart and chose to live in San Angelo because of the family atmosphere it offers. He has been married to his wife, Randi for nine years. After working for ten years as a registered nurse in pediatric oncology she chooses to now stay at home and raise their children, Gavin, Madeline, Marion, and Millie. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, anything outdoors including hunting and fishing, and most sports.

Loren is a registered dental assistant and attended dental assisting school at The Dental Career Center in Stephenville,Texas. She grew up in East Texas, and other than missing the trees, she is enjoying West Central Texas. Loren enjoys traveling, being outdoors, working out especially pull-ups, and spending time with family and friends. She is excited to be a part of Angelo Oral Surgery and Dental Implants.
Ashley began working at Angelo Oral Surgery and Dental Implants in the Spring of 2013. She is a registered dental assistant, and will earn her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Angelo State this Fall. She will continue her education and enter the applied psychology graduate program in the Spring of 2017. She will be forbidden to apply her psychological skills on Dr. Montgomery. Ashley loves what she does and makes your visit a comfortable and enjoyable one.
Martha is a San Angelo native, and has been working at Angelo Oral Surgery and Dental Implants for 38 years. She is a registered dental assistant, but for the last several years has been primarily operating in a front office role. She is likely the person to greet you when you enter the office. She has been married for 37 years and is the proud mother to two handsome boys, Austin and Luke. Erilyn, her beautiful granddaughter, is her miracle and inspires her every day. She is looking forward to the next 38 years at Angelo Oral Surgery and Dental Implants.

I had to have an abcessed tooth extracted and Dr. Montgomery and his staff are wonderful! Squeezed me in for a consultation same day I called them after receiving a referral from my dentist, and then I had the extraction scheduled the next morning. Everyone was super helpful and they all had wonderful manners! Highly recommend Dr. Montgomery and his staff!

My experience here was wonderful!! I was sedated and had 3 extractions and it was super fast. This awesome experience made recovery at home so much easier for me....I had been through a bad experience with a different oral surgeon but Dr Montgomery was great. I will keep coming here as needed from now on!!

My daughter had her wisdom teeth pulled. The staff was very friendly and Dr. Montgomery explained everything that would happen during the procedure and how to take care after. He called the same night just to make sure she was doing ok and if there were any questions.
