Dr. Charles Riotto received his undergraduate degree from the College of the Holy Cross in 1975, and his DMD degree in 1980 from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine. He has completed extensive additional training in comprehensive dentistry, including implant and advanced periodontal prosthetic rehabilitation. After serving for three years as a lieutenant in the US Navy Dental Corps, Dr. Riotto returned to his home state of Rhode Island and began practicing at Angell Street Dental Associates in 1983. Dr. Riotto continues to pursue continuing education with memberships in the Seattle Study Club, Providence Plantations District Dental Society, and the American and Rhode Island Dental Associations. For several years, Dr. Riotto has been recognized in the RI Monthly Magazine as one of RIs Top Dentists. He continues to donate his time and talents to people in need through the Rhode Island Donated Dental program. He has also delivered free dental care to children in need through the Christinas Smile Mobile Childrens Dental Clinic and is an active participant in feeding the underserved and homeless through the Barrington Methodist Church chapter of Mobile Loaves and Fishes. Dr. Riotto welcomes referrals to his practice from his existing patients, colleagues, and specialists, not only throughout New England but throughout the United States. Dr. DePetrillo is a graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School. He later received a degree in chemistry from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. He continued his studies at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, earning a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry in 1989. Following many years of private practice in Johnston, RI, Dr. DePetrillo joined the Angel Street Dental Team in 2004.
Dr. DePetrillo is committed to providing his patients with the highest level of dental care. A lifelong learner, he has attended many renowned advanced dental learning institutions across the country and studied with various experts in his field. He has had extensive training in advanced cosmetic procedures from both The Dawson Academy and The Clinical Mastery Series. He is skilled in all preventative, restorative, and cosmetic procedures and is a Preferred Provider with Invisalign. Dr. DePetrillo is also a certified provider of Botox and Xeomin for esthetic procedures as well as for TMJ and migraine therapy.
Dr. DePetrillo also donates his time to people in need through the RI Donated Dental Program and has provided free dental care to children through Christinas Smile Childrens Dental Clinic. He also provides dental care for Veterans through a government-assisted program.
Dr. DePetrillo lives in Glocester, RI with his wife, Cheryl, and daughters, Lauren, Julianna, and Jenna. He spends most of his free time watching his daughter play competitive softball. One of his favorite vacation spots is in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where he enjoys tasting the local tequila.

I highly recommend Angell Street Dental Associates. Ashley, my dental hygienist, is professional, thorough (yet gentle), and personable. My teeth are sparkling clean; and she patiently answered all my questions. The office is spotless - with a "Zen-like" atmosphere. I've been coming to Angell Street dental since I was a child. Always a great experience. The hygienist's are always friendly and knowledgeable. Doctor D is the best. what a place--smiles everywhere, butyou cant see them behind masks. free toothbrushes, going to sell them on the street to pay for my dental work. i used the elevator--one time--made me pee my pants--now i climb stairs. hugs & love--BOB THEROUX

I recently saw Dr. James as a new patient and I couldn't have asked for a better experience!! John, was extremely friendly and efficient with getting my x-rays taken. He actually made me laugh while being at the dentist! Dr.James and John made me feel so comfortable. Dr.James, was so thorough during my dental exam and took the time and answered all the questions that I had. She was very informative and made me feel comfortable sitting in her chair; I highly recommend coming to see Dr.James for all your dental needs. What a GREAT team!!
