As a retired Dental Assistant, I highly recommend Dr Angela Smoyer and staff. If you are looking for a GREAT Dentist look no further! This Dr is without a doubt the most exceptional Dentist you will ever find. She is highly skilled and professional yet completely down to earth. The staff goes above and beyond to care for their patients. They make you feel welcome and is always available for questions and concerns. My cleanings are always thorough yet gentle and I really do love the atmosphere as well. This office has repeatedly offered an outstanding pleasant experience at every visit for many years, so I felt compelled to write this review.

Highly recommend Dr Schmoyer and her staff. Personally, I used to hate going to the dentist because it was always painful. Pain is no longer an issue. Dr Schmoyer and her staff are attentive, professional, well trained, friendly and a bunch of other swell adjectives.

I'm old enough to have survived several dentists. Dr Schmoyer is by far the best dentist I have ever had. Have recommended her to family and friends and will continue to do so. Staff is pretty awesome too!

This used to be a great practice. However now my mother has had 3 appts canceled on her in a row due to the dr being sick. She gets "sick" a lot. They cannot reschedule until 6 months later. It's unacceptable. Also they have terrible hours. Only three days a week with limited evening hours? People have jobs they cant take off all the time, especially when the appts keep getting canceled. She will be moving to a new practice, which is a shame because she has been going to this practice for 35 years

I have been a patient of Dr. Schmoyer for well over 10 years. She is a very qualified Dentist. She has been able to guide me through many difficulties that I have experienced over the years. She is very professional, prompt, and thorough, paying close attention to detail. Dr. Schmoyer's rates are reasonable. Dr. Schmoyer and her staff have been able to see me in a rather quick and reasonable time when I had an emergency. The Pandemic has changed the way of the world.( I had to schedule an oil change on my car 2 1/2 weeks out)Because of the "new way" of getting things done, Dr Schmoyer and her staff have worked very hard to fit me in for appointments and routine cleanings. Dr. Schmoyer and her Staff(Receptionist, Assistants, Hygienist.....) are very competent, qualified, and experienced, working in a very personable manner. So I guess the answer to the question; Would you recommend Dr. Schmoyer? YOU BETCHA!!!

I and my family have gone to Dr Schmoyer since 2011 and have found her to be a compassionate, conservative, and professional dentist. She is gentle, patient, and thorough in her explanations. I avoided dentists prior to finding Dr Schmoyer because of my anxiety. I appreciate her work/personal life balance and have found it to my advantage to work around the office hours to see a dentist with Dr Schmoyer's character

Unfortunately, when I went for a check-up this morning, I had quite a negative experience with the dental hygienist that was assigned to me. I will preface this review by saying that I have had only great interactions with Dr. Schmoyer in my previous appointments throughout the last few years. Today's interaction was only with the dental hygienist, and I did not interact with Dr. Schmoyer. Today at my check-up, I had a routine teeth cleaning that was incredibly painful. To elaborate, I was in agonizing pain when the employee in question cleaned my teeth. This is due to severe gum inflammation, which is something to which I'm genetically predisposed. Several of my relatives had gingivitis and gum inflammation throughout their lives. While I admit that I have slacked on my homecare routine in the past, I have been brushing my teeth twice a day, as well as flossing on a regular basis. In fact, I brushed my teeth a mere 2 hours before my appointment this morning. Apparently, I have not been thorough enough with my homecare routine, which resulted in the severe pain that I experienced during my cleaning. Now- just ask yourself this: If you were dealing with a patient that was clearly in severe pain (tearing up, visibly wincing upon the gum line being touched, and more), would you make any effort to comfort this patient, or at least attempt to assuage their clearly negative experience? I believe that this is what some would refer to as "customer service". While many people dread going to the dentist due to the often painful interactions that occur there, it's understood that regularly going to the dentist is an important part of maintaining one's health. This dental hygienist in question was rude, brusque, and lacked compassion throughout the entire process. She even told me, "It looks like you haven't brushed your teeth in a week", and literally rolled her eyes when I said that I brush them twice a day and had brushed them just a few hours earlier. I am going to give 2 stars as opposed to 1, as it is my hope that perhaps this dental hygienist was having a bad day and merely taking her frustration out on who was one of her first patients for the day. That is still very unprofessional on her behalf, but I hope that this employee treats other patients with more compassion than I was treated today.

Dr. Schmoyer is wonderful and reassuring. I have been on a lot of pain recently due to an old root canal. Dr. Schmoyer helped with the situation and even went the extra mile in patient care to return my first message on a sunday to reassure me that I wasn't being ignored. I had tried to see my regular dentist about the problems and was treated very poorly. I am so glad that this wonderful person was here to make sure I received the proper care and didn't end up with greater complications. My pain was easing even before I got in to see her because of her knowledge and wonderful patient care. I am now switching exclusively to Dr. Schmoyers care for the rest of my oral health.

(Translated by Google) I was very worried about going to the doctor, I always had a fear of dentists. After the start of the pandemic, I urgently needed the services of a dentist, I am very glad that we found such a doctor! A very attentive woman, a professional in her field and pleasant to communicate with. My English is very bad, but we understood each other without any problems and did everything. Highly recommend! :))) (Original) Ia ochen' volnovalas' idti k doktoru, boiazn' dantistov byla vsegda.
