Dr. Omerza received his D.D.S. and certificate in orthodontics from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University Department of Cell Biology, Neurobiology and Anatomy where his primary area of study was early craniofacial development. He has served in the U.S. Navy as the Orthodontic Director at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Naples, Italy and as the staff orthodontist for the department of Oral and Maxillo-facial surgery at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. He is a member of the AAO, ADA, ODA, and Northeast Ohio and Stark County Dental Societies.
Dr. Thabet attended Jordan University of Science and Technology, where he received his bachelors degree in Dental Surgery. After making the decision to move to the United States, Dr. Thabet went on to complete a Preceptorship of Prosthodontics and Implantology at the University of Texas Health & Science Center of San Antonio, which led him to become the Chief Resident at the General Practice Residency Program at MetroHealth Hospital.
Earning the Americas Top Dentists of 2014 Award by Consumers Research Council of America was worth all the hard work, time, and moving around he put into becoming a dentist. When it comes to helping people, Dr. Thabetis by far one of the most caring and loving dentists in Cleveland.
Dr. Thabet is quite the family man as well. He loves to play soccer and watch movies with his friends and family. When he needs his alone time, Dr. Thabet enjoys getting lost in a book or playing music.
Dr. Hani Ashqar graduated from Misr University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Medicine in 2007. In 2010, Dr. Hani Ashqar had the opportunity to expand his knowledge and dental experience in the United States. He took initiative to successfully complete a fellowship program in the California Implant Institute in 2012. He later enhanced his dental skills by completing a two-year advanced residency program at Metro Health Hospital. Upon completing his residency program in 2015, Dr. Ashqar had over ten years of dental experience. Dr. Hani Ashqar is currently a full-time dentist at Angel Dental Care in our Downtown, Cleveland office.
Dr. Ashqar is an empathetic dentist that provides his patients with the highest level of oral care and comfort. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer, and reading.
Dr. Natasha Katsman Sheridan has been a practicing dentist since 2013, when she graduated from the Ohio State College of Dentistry. She is an active member or the ADA, ODA (elected to both the council on membership and the sub council on new dentists), and GCDS (elected to the House of Delegates and helps plan continuing education events), along with Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. She is currently working towards a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Katsman is an empathetic dentist and has a passion for treating patients with kindness and compassion. She has volunteered for the last several years with MedWorks, providing free dental care in Cleveland. She looks forward to treating you and your family at Angel Dental Care!
Dr. Muhanad Kassim is a Dentist at Angel Dental located in Lorain city. Since beginning my career in 1998 Iraq, my main goal has always been to minimize the patients fear of the Dentist. I am married to my beautiful wife and I am a proud father of 3 girls.
My residency at MetroHealth broadened my experience of working with disabled and special needs patients. I am very grateful for that as it has allowed me to care for those in need. Emphasizing care and educating my patients are things I take pride in and hope to continue throughout my career. I look forward to brightening your smiles!

Our Garfield Heights location has all the services available at our other offices, such as cleanings and crowns, as well as a range of cosmetic treatments. Additionally, this location, in keeping with the family-oriented nature of the community, offers pediatric dentistry services with pediatric specialist Dr. Noora Khadier. Our patients call her a modern day Mary Poppins.
Angel Dental Care in Garfield Heights is located on 9701 Vista Way, just a mile from the recreation and civic center. We love this area. Garfield Heights is a fantastic community, perfect to raise a family. Our parks and recreation department has something for everyone in a 23-acre recreation facility.
Some of the programs available include traditional T-ball, soccer, swimming, and football. But, they also have hockey and figure skating in a state of the art ice rink. In fact, one of Garfield Heights own residents recently placed in the National Figure Skating Championships!

The atmosphere and ladies that work there are incredibly comforting. If you have a fear of dentists or dental work this is the place to go! They keep the convo light and distracting, music in the background. Couldn't recommend this office or the staff more.

I went for my first visit today. I had broken a molar and was able to be seen in 5 days, and for a Medicaid appointment, that's pretty good from what I hear. I was called back within 20 minutes or so for X-rays. I was a little surprised that I wasn't given an x-ray apron but didn't think about that until afterwards. No one offered their names, but everyone was extremely nice. They let my mom come back with me, even though I'm an adult, because I have a brain condition. I had to wait about 30-40 minutes for the dentist, but I overheard them saying they were short staffed. I understand that. He was very thorough, going through my history, allergies, medications, and issues with my teeth. We made a plan for today and the future.He only gave me one shot of Novocaine but I could tell he knew where to place it because it numbed everything. Usually I get 2 or 3 injections and I'm numb for a day. He left and gave me time to get fully numb. I had an absolutely pain free filling done. And the assistant did not let any water or tooth parts go down my throat and I was so appreciative of that. Then another assistant came to fill it and she really took her time and made it perfect. My biggest suggestion is for the staff to introduce themselves. The dentist did, but not the two women working with him. It helps. But I really appreciated the care and being pain free.

First off, I'm not on my phone, but my name is Sharon Obazuaye. I went there today for a root canal (first ever!) I'm EXTREMELY afraid of the dentist & I let the staff & the Dr. know of my anxiety & panic attacks. The staff were amazing & ensured me that I would be numbed to the point of not feeling anything & would probably come out laughing! Boy were they wrong!!! He said to raise my hand if I needed a break or in pain, so when the pain was unbearable & I couldn't take any more I raised my hand & he ignored it & snapped at me "one more minute! By this time I'm raising my body up off of the chair, yelling, crying, & started to hyperventilate! He put the filling in & said all done & then jumped up & left the room. The assistant knew I was in a lot of pain & softly asked if I had pain pills at home & I told her no, so she went to ask him for a script, but he denied it. I know the assistant & receptionist felt bad bcuz they were telling me it wouldn't hurt at all. I would give the staff 5 stars if I could, but the dentist & how I was treated really deserves -5 stars! I'm praying I can find a new dentist to finish his work bcuz I really don't want to go back!

Great work and people. I needed a root canal, and literally felt no pain during or after the procedure. My timeline was a challenge but they worked with me and we got it done. Thanks for everything.

I was very pleased with the staff and the doctor I got a parcel done top and bottem.They all were so amazing there and took very good care of me. If anybody need teeth or work done ,I would tell u guys to call angel dental care for the best care

This place is awesome! My son is very scared of Dentist and needles, and the staff really made it easy for him to get his 1st 2 cavities filled!They were quick and gave us laughs for free. Appt setting was quick, easy, and friendly. I definitely recommend Angel Dental and will definitely be back.

Angel Dental was recommended to me I am terrified of denists to begin with. I have a small mouth with a horrible gag reflex. I was beyond nervous to have my remaining teeth removed for dentures. The staff was so pleasant and understanding they had patience for me! My procedure went well and I can't wait to get my new smile!!! If there were more stars I would give them a 10!!!

Never been here before my visit. Had an emergency situation. I walked in, secretary squeezed me in a canceled slot. Dr. Kassim was very polite, informative and has a very soft touch. Highly recommencing to all

Best dentist I have been to in my entire 36 years of life hands down. The staff is friendly and compassionate. They do not force you to make extra appointments if they can take care of it in one visit. I felt 0 pain and they made sure that I liked the work that was done. The doc found a cavity when he was doing my daughter's cleaning and filled it right then and there. They built my tooth up from barely a sliver into a full tooth rather than make me get an implant. I would shout it from the roof tops if I could. Dr. Kassim is amazing and so is his staff.

I absolutely Hate going to the dentist and recently had bad pain,went to another dentist and left in Worse pain.Found Angel Dental Care and needed a root canal and was even more stressed,because I've heard how painful they are..I had literally NO pain during the procedure and none after so far.They do Amazing work and just gained 3 new customers between myself and my kids.All around experience was an A+.

I had a tooth pain that so was so bad and they got me in last minute. They did xrays and had me in the chair within minutes and was able to extract my tooth same visit which saved me from having a very painful weekend. The doctor was amazing! The staff was very nice and helpful! Im very grateful to have found them! I would recommend to anyone!

I love this dentist office! they are very kind to you, make sure you're comfortable. they're in the process of fixing my teeth and it's unbelievable how good they are, they fixed 4 teeth in 2 hours, it was amazing! definitely recommend them!
