Anew Dental & Orthodontics in Plainfield is located on Route 59 between 135th and 127th Street. There is ample parking available in the front and rear of building, we recommend you enter through the rear of building and find the door at the top of the ramp. Anew Dental & Orthodontics is a full service practice treating patients in both general dentistry, orthodontics, periodontics, and snoring/sleep apnea. This practices thrives on patients of all ages and the referrals of their patients.
Jyoti Puri, DDS, PhD received her Doctorate of Dental Science (DDS) degree in 2006. She received her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Baylor College of Dentistry, TX A&M Health Science Center in Biomedical Sciences with an emphasis on Temporomandibular joint pain.
She then continued her training by completing the Periodontics and Dental Implant Surgery Residency Program at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. Dr. Puri is a licensed periodontist and is Board Certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She has several published articles to her credit, and is an active member of The American Academy of Periodontology, The American Dental Association,The Chicago Dental Society, The Illinois State Dental Society, The Southwest Society of Periodontists.
Dr. Puri is proficient in all aspects of periodontics including: non-surgical and surgical treatment of periodontal diseases, bone regeneration, surgical placement of dental implants, soft tissue grafting, and hard tissue grafting, including sinus augmentation. Her philosophy is to preserve teeth with respective periodontal procedure and place implants to restore missing teeth.
Dr. Puri is committed to delivering the very highest quality dental treatment. She is likewise committed to providing patients the best treatment options, with an emphasis on their long-term oral health.
Dr. Joseph Rubis is a Joliet native who graduated from Joliet Catholic Academy in 1997. In 2001, he graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago and then continued his education at Marquette Dental School. In 2005, he then graduated from Marquette.
Dr. Rubis regularly participates in courses to improve his craft utilizing modern techniques and materials. He has attended IAOM and Sleep Group Solutions learning from the leading experts in the fields of orthodontics, myofunctional therapy, sleep dentistry and TMJ therapy. He regularly attends the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry seminars and has participated in the Rondeau Orthodontic seminars.
A graduate of Northwestern University Dental School, Dr. William White is a member of the American Dental Society, the Illinois Dental Society and the Illinois Valley Dental Society. He believes his Associate Arts degree from the College of Dupage is beneficial to his patients in reconstructing their smiles!

I have been going to Anew for 15 years or more. I always liked them. As of late you can never get an appointment, I had to cancel an appointment I made 6 months prior and could not get in for another 6 months. I get it they or short staffed but ever since they became corporate they care more about the money than the patients. The dentist is too rough! Considering leaving due to the appointment thing.

Mentioned to the dentist how I recently started smile direct ( I would to like to preface I knew exactly what I was getting into starting smile direct. I am aware of the risk, read up on it a ton, I know dentist do not approve, etc). - The dentist reacted very unprofessionally - "that was a really dumb idea" , "come back when you have more problems with your teeth", "you would have paid the same price here with insurance", etc. He talked to me as if he were my dad and was scolding me. - He really could have approached this with a more educational take versus making it sound like i'm completely stupid. For example "well here's why we don't recommend those treatments, etc". Unfortunately, he was aggressive and passive. My insurance also covers little to nothing with Invisalign/braces, it was bold of him to assume this. Overall, his approach to the situation was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Rest of the staff was great.

First of all Dr. Joe Rubis is a rock star. I'll never forget the day I went in (2016) for a tooth problem & it turned out I needed a root canal. He was very patient with my nervousness & I got thru it with flying colors. He even patted himself on the back with a "YES! That's a rock solid Root Canal!!" I was so tickled. I needed to go back today (6yrs later) for some pain in that same area...it's still in place but needs a endodontist to confirm the issues & possibly retreat. They office staff really listens & assures me of what can & should be done! AND his same care & concern really came thru and so did Dr. O'Donovan, the front office staff and the assistant! Thank you ALL!

Dr Joe is absolutely the best!!!! My son is extremely pleased with his results after braces! My husband has braces on now, then onto rest of kids when they can have them. I wouldnt go anywhere else!!!!!

Very kind and welcoming staff! The office manager is an absolutely beautiful person. Ashley my hygienist was extremely knowledgeable. I'm extremely happy I found them. If you're looking for any dental services, look no further.

Honestly, an amazing office and dentist. I see doctor joe and my son sees the other..... both are amazing. I've never seen a dentist that was so kind and truly wanted to save me money while giving me so much in return. I didn't think it was possible to get the work done that he did, not to mention at the cost. You just don't see debris's like this anymore, from the staff, that all genuinely smiles and works together and knows each other to the hard working amazing dentist that truly cared! I can't stop smiling, you will not regret going here!

The office waiting area smelled so bad, I almost had to leave the appointment. The waiting area is also significantly small. The office is not private at all. You can hear and see the patient sitting next to you. The staff is also not very friendly, cold. Seems like a ghetto low income office.

My daughter had her braces installed here eight years ago. The orthodontist was really great. Then today - when I haven't been in their office in at least seven years and actually was never a patient myself, then began sending me Happy Birthday texts. So there's that... nice creepy Stalker vibe.

I had a very bad experience with one of the person (Natasha) very rude and not cooperative. It seemed like customer care and comfort was not her high priority. I have been going to this place for more than 2 years but never had such experience.
