Dr. Andrews has been practicing for over25 years in Manteca with the philosophy of providing high quality comfortable dental care and service at a reasonable value. It is a family practice with a small-town feel to it.
Dr. Andrews graduated from the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry in 1989 with honors. The following year she completed anAdvanced Education in General Dentistry residency at UCSF.After moving to Manteca in 1992, starting a small private practice was a dream she fulfilled when she opened the doors to the fledgling practice in 1994. The practice has expanded over the past 25 years including moving 20 years ago to our present location. This allowed us to expand to accommodate our new patients and provide continuing preventive care for our dental family. All of this, while maintaining the kind of practice she envisioned from the beginning.
Though Dr. Andrews grew up in the Bay Area and spent years in the city doing her undergraduate degree at the University of San Francisco in addition to the years at UCSF Dental School, Manteca is the family town that she has chosen to work and live in with her three children. Whether it be participating as an office in the 'Relay for Life' or driving her little 'Tooth Fairies' down Main Street for the 4th of July parade to frequent donations of services and goods to local school and community fundraisers - it is what being part of the Manteca family is all about.
April will likely answer the phone when you call and welcome you to our dental family. April has been with our practice since 2003 and handles much of the insurance and billing tasks. She spent part of her younger years in town and then moved back to settle down with her husband and two children.
Kristi is a native Mantecan. She graduated from Manteca High School and attended Sacramento State University and Galen College for dental assisting training. With over 20 years as a Registered Dental Assistant, Kristi has been working for our office since 2006. Her time off is spent travelling and trying to stay in touch with her grown boys.
Melissa is one of our three Registered Dental Hygienists taking care of your preventative cleanings and periodontal treatments. Melissa is a lifelong resident of Manteca having attended French Camp Elementary and East Union High School. She graduated from Taft School of Dental Hygiene in 2000. She has been in the dental field for over 20 years in different capacities but has definitely found her niche as a hygienist in our office since 2005. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and participating in the Portuguese club in Manteca.
Jen is the newest addition to our staff in 2014. As a Registered Dental Assistant, she has worked in the dental field for over 20 years. She graduated from Andon College in 1994. For 9 years she was focused on orthodontics but decided to rejoin the general dentistry world. Jen was born and raised in a small farming community just outside of Manteca -Roberts Island in the Delta. She shares her home with her husband and fur babies -dogs Cindy Lou and cat Lucy. She enjoys RV camping, shopping, and cooking.
Tanya Is one of our dental hygienists taking care of your dental cleanings and periodontal treatments. Tanya moved to Manteca in elementary school and graduated from East Union High. She started working for us in 2002 as an ROP student learning front and back office. She became a Registered Dental Assistant in 2005 and stayed on with us part time until she went on to San Joaquin Valley College to study dental hygiene. Tanya graduated in 2010 and has, since 2017, been back with our practice. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends
Our hygienist Kira relocated to Manteca from the bay area in 2000. She spent years commuting to the bay area and is thrilled to be working in her own community. She graduated Diablo Valley College in 1999. What Kira loves most about being a hygienist is the relationships she forms with her patients. When she's not helping patients with their periodontal health she enjoys time with her husband, kids and fur babies. Kira loves gardening, hiking, kayaking, anything outdoors.
