Dr. Andrew Kouvaris is a native of San Jose where he attended Lynbrook High School and Santa Clara University. He studied at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and was named his class Valedictorian. He next entered the graduate program to study orthodontics, and received a Masters of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and a certificate of specialization in orthodontics. Dr. Kouvaris is also a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Kouvaris maintains a position as associate clinical professor of Orthodontics at the University of the Pacific, and is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and the Santa Clara County Dental Society.
Dr. Kouvaris is committed to the most advanced treatment techniques and concepts and is highly active in continuing education courses to bring the best that orthodontic treatment can offer to his patients. Dr. Kouvaris enjoys all sports and especially has a passion for baseball. In his free time, he likes traveling with his wife, Erin, and spending time with his family and friends.

Best orthodontist & very professional! He helped straighten my teeth with Invisalign as a teenager and again as an adult (because I got lazy and didn't wear my retainers). He was always happy to see me.The process he explained clearly and my check ups were super fast and easy. Overall a great experience. He also did a great job setting up the timeline so my teeth were perfect for my wedding. Super bonus his team there is stellar. Always very nice and super helpful when sorting out the billing. They also send me texts to remind me about my appointments. Couldn't recommend more!

We were so lucky to find Dr. Kouvaris for my daughter, Stella! She had a lot of dental issues because her mouth is so small. He used his professional creativity to come up with a personalised plan to fix my daughter's issues. Not only is he brilliant but he is kind and down to earth. (That is important when you have to see your orthodontist every month for years!). He works really well with both kids & adults. He makes sure everyone understands what he's doing (and makes it not so scary for the little ones). He also goes above & beyond for his patients...there was a time that my daughter had an after hours emergency with her tooth. Dr Kouvaris was late to a big event because he was willing to help Stella at that moment. We cannot sing enough praises of him. Then, there is his amazing staff! The gal that runs his schedule (Jen) is the sweetest person. She runs the office smoothly and is fun to talk to. Once again, it's wonderful to have kind people that go out of their way to offer good customer service...when you have to communicate with them on a regular basis. If you have found this feedback online, and you're researching orthodontist offices...look no further. You have found a gem!
