As an orthodontist, I have the unique opportunity to work with fascinating people, each of whom is in the process of changing his or herlife. I have built my reputation, and that of my practice, by delivering personalized, high-tech orthodontic care with an emphasis on comfort and convenience. I call it patient-first care, and its all about you!
Each year, I take a variety of professional courses and attend many hours of continuing education. This constant learning keeps me at the leadingedge of advances in orthodontic technologies and methodologies. Much of my recent training has centered on Invisalign, adult and interceptive orthodontics, and addressing TMJ-TMD through orthodontic care.
My roles in professional organizations, along with my research and teaching experience, empowerme to learn from the combined experience of my peers. At association meetings, we discuss solutions for complex cases, share new research, exchange effective techniques, and generally grow our base of orthodontic knowledge. This enables us to serve you better.
I sincerely enjoy enhancing the smiles and fostering the self-esteem of my patients. At the same time, I feel it is my responsibility to reach beyond my practice and into the communityto helpthe less fortunate, as well. I grew up in Texas and have called Tucson home for over 20 years. This is a wonderful community and my beautiful, supportive wife and I are glad to be raising our three handsome sons here. If Im not at the office, Im usually to be found with my family, though I also enjoy tackling home projects and spending time golfing.

Don't worry, you'll be eating popcorn and snacking on potato chips again in no time! However, before you can start enjoying some of the treats you love, you will need to take special care to avoid any foods that could damage your new appliances.
When you first get your braces, you may notice that your teeth and mouth feel a little tender or sore. This is perfectly normal and we promise your mouth will not be sore forever! To relieve the pain, we recommend dissolving one teaspoon of salt in eight ounces of lukewarm water. Swish and gargle this solution in your mouth for just a couple of minutes (do not swallow the saltwater).
If the pain is more severe and does not go away after rinsing, you can also try taking a pain reliever. It is also not uncommon for your lips, cheeks, and tongue to become irritated for one to two weeks as they toughen and become used to the braces. We would be happy to give you some wax that you can put over the braces to lessen the tenderness. If you need some wax, please let us know.
If your teeth begin feeling a little loose, don't worry; this is normal! Your braces must first loosen your teeth to move them into the right position. Once your teeth have been repositioned, they will no longer be loose.
The wires and bands on your braces may come loose. If this happens, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can check and repair your appliance. If any piece of your appliance comes off, be sure to save it and bring it to the office with you.
You can temporarily fix the loose wire by using the back of a spoon or the eraser end of a pencil to carefully and gently push the wire back into place. If the loose wire is causing irritation to your lips or cheeks, put wax or a wet cotton ball over the broken wire to relieve the pain.
Damaged appliances can increase the length of your treatment process, so be sure to take care of all your appliances. Your teeth and jaw can only move into their correct positions if you consistently wear the rubber bands, headgear, retainer, or other appliances prescribed by your doctor.
Game, Set, Match we have great news for athletes! You can still play sports even while undergoing orthodontic treatment! If you do play sports, it's recommended that you wear a mouthguard to protect your teeth and your appliance. Let your doctor know if you need help finding the right mouthguard for the best protection.
In case of a sports emergency, be sure to immediately check your mouth and appliance for damage. If you notice any loose teeth or appliance damage, please contact our office right away. You can temporarily relieve the discomfort by applying wax or rinsing your mouth with warm saltwater.

My grandson was traumatized. He loves the atmosphere but says the dentist didn't wear gloves when performing his check-up and he's afraid to return. With all going on with the endemic & other viruses on the horizon, I'm very saddened to hear this. Prayerfully this was a rarity.

Absolutely great experience so far! Wasn't intending on getting my braces the same day as the consultation. But I did, and really pleased with the service! Super friendly, clean, and professional environment. Would definitely recommend for anyone in need of orthodontic care!

The office is beautiful and clean. The staff are all extremely friendly and welcoming to new patients (and parents). My son just started treatment today but didn't feel intimidated or embarrassed. All of his pretreatment evaluations in the last couple of years have been pleasant and we never felt pushed to do anything, which I think is great.

Had braces for 2-3 years here. After I had them removed I was given a retainer and was told 'if there's a small crack in it and it's not in 2 pieces, please come by for a FREE repair'. Not even 6 months into my retainer I get a split in mine (not a complete break) and came in to repair it for FREE. Next thing I'm told is ' we don't have that machine anymore and you'll need to pay an additional FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS for your new replacements. As if I didn't already spend thousands of dollars having my braces for years now I have to pay an additional FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS at the tail end of this to make sure my teeth stay this way ? Ridiculous. No announcement that they are changing the retainer brand/repair methods, no warning that 'coming soon you will not be able to repair your retainer this way' or 'we're changing our method/brand of retainers starting on this date' Nothing.

The most amazing Dr. & Staff around. Husband got braces 9yrs ago in his 50's & now myself 9yrs after. Still after all these years consistently over top 5stars +. I even showed up at the door without appt. at 8am and they fixed the problem within minutes. WOW! DO NOT DELAY WITH GETTING YOUR ADULT BRACES. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Dr. Rosen & Staff!

I implore you, do not use them! Especially if you are military! After we moved and therefore had no more visits, they sought payment from our insurance and the day I called em on it they said they just filled to do a refund to the insurance that day. BULL! Also, they never even put my daughter's bottom braces on, even when I told em it would be her last visit, and when I tried to talk to em about what was said vs what was done and what I'd been paying for, their response was prove it! BTW! I have no interest in talking to people who have already proved they don't care and aren't willing to do anything to help, you guys literally did nothing! We've been told by a few different orthodontists, since I was so shocked when I first heard it I though there's no way, my daughter still needs 30 months of care, she'll be starting over, the only thing my daughter having had braces with you guys did was waste my money and provide you with the opportunity to attempt insurance fraud... Also! You guys did not 'miss the mark' you set a new low!!! Update! I found out a while back that not only did they do nothing for my daughter! But they totally missed the fact that one of her adult molars was coming in at 90degs from the norm, so the front and back are the sides and vis versa... Thanks guys, really appreciate being ripped off while my daughter is suffering long term issues due to your incompetence! Wonderful!
