Andrew Cohen, DMD A native of Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, Dr. Andrew Cohen graduated from Syracuse University with a BS in psychology. Dr. Cohen received his DMD degree at the Temple University School of Dentistry in 1998. The following year, he completed an advanced education General Practice Dental Residency Program at Abington Memorial Hospital. In 1999, he joined Dr. William Isaacs in private practice in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania.Dr. Cohen is passionate about and committed to the teaching of dental medicine. He was appointed a faculty position at Spear Education, where he mentors dentists from around the world. He is a contributing author for Spear Digest, an online dental education journal, and is a content moderator for the online dental forum, Spear Talk. Previously, he served as a clinical instructor at the Temple University School of Dentistry from 1999-2002. He was asked to join the Medical, Surgical and Dental Staff at Abington Memorial Hospital in 2000. A teaching position as a Dental Attending in their residency program filled out his time there.Dr. Cohen recently earned honors by being named Top Dentist by his peers inPhiladelphia Magazinefor 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018.Dr. Cohen focuses on the benefits of continuing education in both medicine and dentistry. He regularly attends lectures, workshops and seminars throughout the country. In 2012, he started the Spear Study Group of Philadelphia. In 2017, he achieved theQualified Dentist Designationby the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine for treating patients with airway and breathing disorders which can result in snoring and sleep apnea.He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Philadelphia Dental Clinics Club, of which he has been a past president and where he currently serves on the Board and as the Continuing Education Advisor.

Sarah Bao, DDS Dr. Sarah Bao is from the suburbs of Washington, D.C. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in neurobiology and physiology in 2014. Dr. Bao received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Maryland School of Dentistry in 2018. The following year, she completed an advanced education General Practice Residency Program at Abington-Jefferson Health. She was married this past fall and her husband is finishing his final year of medical school at the Temple University School of Medicine. He is looking to match in an ENT residency program this coming April. Dr. Bao is passionate about continuing her education. She plans to advance her didactic and clinical skills under the mentorship of Dr. Cohen and through the curriculum of Spear Education in Scottsdale, AZ. She is committed to patient health, patient-centered care and esthetic dentistry. In her free time, she is an avid pianist and enjoys barre and yoga.

Johanna joined our team in 2016. She attended SUNY Orange and UNC Wilmington for her education and training. She began her career in dental operations and management in 2001, and has experience in the corporate, FQHC, hospital and private practice settings. This background has allowed her to build a unique skillset and well-rounded knowledge base for patient relations, customer service and insurance reimbursement.

Johanna is diligent in managing and streamlining our office systems and protocols in order to ensure that each patient visit results in a predictable and successful outcome. She works hard to ensure that each interaction meets and exceeds the patients expectations. She enjoys the unique partnership we achieve as a team and with our patients as we partner with them and collaborate on each aspect of their treatment, including consistent, sincere, and genuine education and communication, so that they can reach the highest level of health that they choose to strive for.

Johanna and her husband, David have two sons, Dawson and Dylan, who both attend William Tennent High School. In 2013, David retired from the marine Corps as a Gunnery Sergeant. Johanna is her childrens biggest fan, and can always be found cheering them on at a football field or a baseball diamond. She never misses a game!

Donna has been with our team since 1998. She is our longest-tenured staff member, and is diligent in providing prompt, accurate and polite service to our patients. Donna loves the diversity of our patients and the team atmosphere in our office.

Donna and her husband Rob have four grown children and nine grandchildren. Outside of the office, she is an education volunteer at Elmwood Park Zoo, and the author and illustrator of Sasha the Tortoises Summer Vacation.

Colleen has been with our dental family since 2007. She has an Associates degree in science as well as her Registered Dental Hygienists license. She loves being part of a team that creates beautiful, healthy smiles, and works hard to educate her patients so that they understand their recommended treatment and will accept it.

Colleen has three daughters, Hannah, Olivia and Callie, and one son, Bobby, as well as an American Boxer named Bruno. She enjoys spending time with her children and watching them participate in their various activities. Colleen also loves spending time at her happy place the beach!

Denielle earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from Harcum College, which is affiliated with Penn Dental School, and was selected to be part of a leadership program during her time at Harcum College. She joined our team in September 2002, immediately after graduating from college. Denielle loves that she is part of a family and not just a dental practice, and has a strong bond with the office and with our patients. She cares about each patient she meets and works to develop strong relationship with them. Denielles goal is to be the best hygienist she can be each day.

Denielle and her husband, Mike, have four children; Trent, Hayden, Max and Violet. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching their games and track meets. They enjoy running, reading together as a family, going out to dinner and trying new things.

Holly graduated from the Community College of Philadelphia Dental Hygiene School in 1985 with an Associates degree in science. She received the honor of the Alpha Eta Society for graduating first in her class. Holly joined our dental family in 2009. She is a team player, and uses her experience and skills as a hygienist to provide our patients with an exceptional experience. She loves the team she works with, the education she receives and the experience that working at our dental practice offers her.

Amy joined our office in 2004. She enjoys being part of a team that has the motivation to help people in any way needed. She loves being part of moments when patients have life-changing procedures. Amy strives to make each patient visit a success, and takes the time with each of her patients to ensure that their individual needs are met. She also enjoys that our practice takes pride in educating our patients and that our staff are also able to continue to grow and expand their knowledge and skills daily.

Karen joined our dental family in 2003. She loves being involved with our patients care to guide them in their treatments and provide education. Karen is committed to helping our patients receive the care they deserve and know that they are valued when they visit our office.

Christine Certified Dental Assistant Christine join our dental family in 2019. She enjoys working with us because she gets to be part of a team that takes pride in their work and educates their patients. Every day, she comes in and does her best to serve her patients. She is also an emergency medical technician. She and her husband are the proud parents of two children, Breanna and Connor, and three grandchildren, Arabella, Ryleigh and Madalein. Her favorite hobby is off-roading in her jeep.
