I chose to be a dentist because it is a mixture of many things I enjoy in life. Personal interactions and developing relationships are imperative. I like personal interactions with people, I like to work with my hands, and I like sense of accomplishment when a patient is comfortable and happy with the results of their dental treatment.

Dr. Sheng grew up in Palos Verdes and attended local schools. He completed undergraduate studies at the University of California-Berkeley then earned his DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. He then went on to Loma Linda University where he earned a masters degree in public health (MPH).
Among his professional affiliations are memberships in the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Assocation, California Dental Association, Harbor Dental Society and Spear Institute for Advanced Dentistry. Dr. Wakis undergraduate years were spent at the University of California-Los Angeles, where he earned his bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering. For graduate studies, he earned a DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree at the UCLA School of Dentistry. Dr. Waki is devoted to specialized dental training. From Palo Altos Veterans Administration Medical Center, he received hospital dentistry training. And from West Los Angeles Veterans Administration Medical Center, he received a specialty certificate in periodontics.

Dr. Sullivan was born in Nancy, France. He grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and attended the University of Oklahoma, where he earned his B.S. in Biochemistry and graduated summa cum laude. He then attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry where he graduated with honors. Dr. Sullivan continued to expand his clinical skills by completing a one-year general practice residency through Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. He then worked in a family practice in Tacoma, WA prior to relocating to Southern California.
