Our office was started in 1985 by Dr. Craig Proctor. In 2015, Dr. Andrew Olson purchased the office and renamed it Wasatch Dental.Dr. Olson and his caring team offer a wide variety of services for families and patients of all ages. Our top priority is making sure our patients are comfortable. From weighted blankets and noise-canceling headphones, our team does all we can to remove any apprehension that could get in the way of you receiving the treatment you need.
Dr. Andrew Olson was born and raised in Southwest Washington State. He served a two-year LDS mission to Peru after which he followed his sisters to Utah Valley University. Dr. Olson graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry and went on to the University of Utah for a post-graduate General Practice Residency, receiving continued training in sedation, implant placement, sinus lifts, and other advanced surgical procedures. Shortly after his residency he joined the University of Utah School of Dentistry as a part-time Assistant Professor and completed a Masters in Business Administration at the University of Utah School of Business. Dr. Olson is married to Lauren and has 3 wonderfully energetic boys. They enjoy traveling to new places and anything outdoors. He loves to cook and dabble in electronics and software. Dr. Olsons favorite book is How to Win Friends and Influence People and dont be surprised if he gets you talking about yourself. He receives great personal satisfaction in connecting with people and in some way improving their oral health as well as their well-being.

Dr. Olsen did a great job of explaining to me the complex procedures that he does. He is very thorough and cares about his patients individually. I would definitely recommend him!

The dentist is never a place people get enthusiastic about going to...however I've had truly a great experience. Dr. Olson is interested in getting to know each of his patients on a personal level and the dental assistants are really excellent too, seeking a strong relationship with their patients too! I've never had animosity towards going to the dentist thanks to the great patient care I've received at this facility! And my teeth are clean and healthy!

Phenomenal staff! Clean and updated office and equipment. Dr. Olson is very friendly and provides great comfort and knowledge to the patients. Placement of his and the hygienists hands never hurt my mouth or caused my teeth to dig into my lips. Front office and billing staff were very personable. Over all great experience and great customer service!

I had chipped my tooth on a chocolate covered coffee bean, of all things! Turns out this tooth had a previous filling done by another dentist, and it needed a build up. Dr. Olson was able to do a buildup, and so far, almost a year later, the tooth is holding up and I have had no further problems! I would recommend this dentist! Reasonable prices for cash paying customers as well!

Dr. Olson filled a few cavities a few months back for me. One completely fell out and 3 others needed to be replaced. Naturally I went to a different dentist, that dentist told me that Dr. Olson did a very lazy job and will probably lose his license with work like this. If I could put zero stars I would. Nice guy, but the work does more talking. Do not go here.
